this game made me fall asleep
Strange Journey
What? How?
The ending made the shitty slot system and the rest of the game worthwhile
overdone faggotry
Do you really have to ask
I got emotional when in the neutral path Jimenez dies and during Arthur's last speech
I mean it's fucked up and depressing but there's no emotional stuff to actually make you cry
Every time I see the ending.
this will sound dumb but the slow panning camera at the end of dead space 2 really got to me the first time i saw it.
the tired yet content look on Isaac's face as he accepts his impending death was really well done.
Yeah any KH game that's not 2FM makes me cry over the fact that Osaka team and nomura actively ruined any chance this franchise had of being in the rung of greats. 2FM proved that no one plays the franchise for any reason except for the combat, and no one plays Osakashit because the combat is trash. 2FMs combat surpasses any Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, and DMC
Tales of the Abyss - the ending
Tales of Xillia 2 - Ludger's endless fucking suffering
Xenoblade Chronicles - several moments
Xenoblade Chronicles X - The ending bit with the nice music before the cliffhanger
Been a while but the despairing atmosphere in some places gets to me
If Genesis was completely removed from the game, and the absurdity was dialed down just a little bit, it would honestly be one of the best Final Fantasy games.
>he’s still trying to keep this shitposting up
I feel sad for you, dude.
>having standards is shitposting
The absolute state of this board.
>2FMs combat surpasses any Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, and DMC
>ITT I haven't played any of those games outside of my favorite one hit wonder.
>retard doesn't know what revenge values are
Cope
>standards
>he says while playing KH
Only one, namely To the Moon.
>almost no voice acting
>writing is suddenly good
There’s a reason CoM and Days are considered to be the best written kH games
>CoM
I thought I was the only one that kinda liked the plot of that shit game
Day has some of the best dialogue in the series.
As shit as this game was, the boy bad breaking up at the end + a slideshow of all the pics got to me
>*wait for opening* mash mash mash *rinse and repeat*
Next you'll atrempt to convince anyone that level 1 runs are anything but a glorified band-aid to elevate what is ultimately a shallow combat system thanks to normal Critical being easier than Proud mode outside of half of the optional data bosses/LW.
Kill yourself based autist.
999
but the ending was confusing
The plot wasn't the problem. The gameplay was. The memory plot wasn't even that bad and the game is one of the most important games in the entire plot since it explains org13 and Sora in his coma for kh2.
>retards don't understand magic, limits, summons, and positional combos
>retards don't know that lvl 1 crit is how the game is meant to be played and it surpasses every action game out there in difficulty and fairness
>retards haven't played the game
Lingering Will is the best boss fight in the genre. Cope you retarded trannies
Do you guys think Days & Recoded will ever get remade/remastered like all the other games?
I liked the plot of both but the other thing is characters just interact way more and without the stilted constant VOice Over, you can read it in your head at a natural pace
There’s just better characterization and overall plot structure when the games don’t have to worry about retelling Disney stories verbatim
That depends entirely on whether or not the next generation is as port happy as this one.
>tfw no one else to have ice cream with
Recoded technically is a remake already
Days will never get remade despite the fact that it deserves it and would be improved the most by it
I’d even take a fucking mobile game version of it at this point, god knows the modern smartphones blow the DS out of the water
>tfw you can keep running but he’ll always be there to bring you back
Recoded actually made the Command Deck fun for me so it would be cool to see and Days would seriously benefit from a combat overhaul, though I doubt it will happen anytime soon.
>caring about osaka trash
I'm glad people stopped taking KH shills seriously after KH3 flopped critically.
>Osaka
They didn’t even make Days, though.
Doesn't matter, it's still trash that can be confused with osaka """""""quality"""""""
These two were pretty damm close
>no rebuttal
Lmao, osakacucks seething every game made by their horrendous team is in the running for the worst game ever made.
I think the command deck in re:Coded was a happy accident thanks to the hardware it's on, limiting Osaka shit from adding needless fluff that ruins the base game combat like their other games.
But again, it wasn’t even made by Osaka.
It didn’t though? Didn’t KH3 sell 5 million?
Cried cause it was so fucking bad.
Once again, it's on the same level as osakashit, so yes it pretty much was made by Osaka
It did, the guy is shitposting
Commercially, not critically.
Do you have autism or something? I don’t even like Days’ gameplay but design wise it isn’t that much similar to the Osaka games.
I thought it got good reviews too?
Maybe I’m misremembering
>I thought it got good reviews too?
PS4 has an 83 on Metacritic, which is pretty good.
>osakafag coping this hard
Fuck off already. Your shitty dev team ruined a franchise that should have had unlimited potential.
More than any other game I swear
It wasn't an accident because re:Coded was made by a different company and hence osakashit couldn't ruin it with their touch.
>Osakafag
I haven’t even said anything about Osaka team besides how they relate to Days and I prefer KH1 and KH2. Are you that obsessed?
you're actually an idiot. Days' combat sucks but its nothing like osaka. They are both bad, but bad in completely different ways, put your hateboner for one lousy company away, nobody cares
Based
Eh, still lower than KH1 and KH2 which is accurate in a way.
>MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK... END
The feels level in Ouendan 2 got me worse desu
I’m such a crybaby that basically anything emotional at all can get to me
>NieR and NieR automata
>Xenogears
>Xenoblade 2
>Persona 3, 4, and 5
>even goddamn Animal Crossing
i kinda wish i wasn’t like this but oh well
This game was a shitty fanfiction
Suddenly now its one of the most important in the series
Saddest Xeno moment was Jin's death and pretty much the entirety of Xenosaga III's ending
Persona 3 and moreso og Nier are where men cry, no shame there
I still gotta play the Xenosaga series honestly
Xenoblade 2 in general is just so tragic and hurts me so bad. The world that they live in is built and founded on the tragedy of many.
Pretty much all the deaths in XB2, and especially how Poppi reacts to some moments, just absolutely broke me.
>all this backpedaling
Seethe harder osakafags
>still can’t say anything but osakafags
You’re a sad man, you know that?
Once you osakacucks stop being so worthless and stop defending shit that turned a once great franchise into kusoge people will stop calling you out.
Xenoblade 2 could have been GOTYAY but it just has too many technical and QoL issues. Same could be said for XBX, or really any Xeno game I suppose.
Xenosaga is cool and has the biggest scope of all the games but Namco really shafted Takahashi and as a result Saga feels even more disheveled and patched together than Gears did. It didn't really come into its own until III, but at that point the damage was already done. I still recommend it if you liked all the other games though. Imo I is overrated and II is underrated.
Mikhail's death was unironically kino in XB2, and the game's high points like that, along with all the beneficial changes made in Torna, really make me think of what could have been.
>retards don't know that lvl 1 crit is how the game is meant to be played and it surpasses every action game out there in difficulty and fairness
Lmao
>Actually if you chop your arms off and both ears you can see that Patapon is in fact, the hardest Rytham game
Except nobody is defending Osaka or Days. We’re just pointing out how they’re both garbage but are made by different people. Can you not fucking read?
Not him but my biggest issue is that ot took me 300 hours to get KOS-MOS. Il forever rage about that.
>he doesn't play Patapon exclusively with his cock(no balls mode)
Retarded osakafag
By arguing with me you are clearly an osakafag. Throw a trip on so I can filter your ass
Osaka didn't make the DS games. They helped out HAND with the Command Deck mechanics but that's it. h.a.n.d then made the command deck beautiful
>everyone that calls me out for being a retard is an osakafag
Autism at its finest.
Xenoblade 2 did have issues, but I consider it one of the best Xeno-games. Especially after all the amazing patchwork that Monolith has done by listening to fan feedback. I also just really love how the whole story ends up connecting into one, slightly deviating thread by the end of the game.
Also Rex is extremely underrated, he’s no Fei, but I still really liked him. I honestly like him better than Shulk.
Feels bad to hear that Saga got it worse than Gears, but i’m still excited to see what the deal with it is. Hopefully we’ll get an HD port to modern systems at some point.
I'm gonna call you osakafag because you're obsessed with the word
The autism of Disney characters written by the very autistic final fantasy writers, which is the basis of the entire franchise, is just one thing holding it back from being great. That alone keeps kingdom hearts in the trash
That's shipped, not sold
As much as I love KH and find the autisitic stuff endearing, I am surprised no other series has tried to replicate its gameplay to appeal to other demographics. It really plays like no other ARPG and I'm surprised no one has tried to copy it.
Saga is by no means bad. I'd say Gears is better overall but Saga III is the best of the bunch.
that's the problem, they had a HAND in helping the DS games.
That is enough evidence for the troll (who I honestly think is just Bary falseflagging) to claim that the Osaka team made them.
Same
XB2 ended up hitting me more than I thought it would, particularly in Chapter 9-10. It took 8 chapters to sell me on the relationships between characters and then pulled the rug out from under me.
>>Persona 3
The way P3 handled January was awesome. No other game nailed that feeling. There's also the fact that the party members actually grow up in the story, instead of just social links
I would say other games do copy it to a degree
unless you're talking specifically about the menu-oriented single-combo style.
In which case, I'd say because most other action games try to avoid mucking around with menus whereas they're kind of integral to SquEnix's identity as a dev
Why? Death is a joke in Kingdom Hearts because Nomura HATES death so Xion is revived in KH3.
Also directed by Nomura so expect some way to do the literal Revive Aerith sidequest from the 90s. Oh yeah you know Mr. No Death will do it. Don't lie to yourself.
Persona 3
We also have actually news about how many units KH3 sold and it sold like 6 million total and that was like 2-3 months ago. So yeah it's doing good. It's not flopping.
but before DDD deaths of nobodies was a pretty permanent thing. Yeah after that point it was clear it didnt matter anymore, but in KH2 and days, when a nobody died it felt like you would never see them again
Because as of the release of Days, it seemed pretty hard-set that Axel and Xion were gonna be dead forever.
Characters never staying dead only really started with 3DS. Maybe with KH2 a little bit if you include the bits where Roxas is still existing inside Sora
Did you cry from sheer boredom?
If you cry over vidya that means you are so soft that a boss shouting at you at work probably puts you in to tears
Umineko's ending had be bawling.
No, it just means you get invested in content, Omar.
There's nothing wrong with becoming emotionally invested.
>it just means you get invested in content,
When the content is extremely childish and aimed at teens and you as an adult get put in to tears over this? You are 100% a softy
Except I was a teen when I played Days, and I had gone through the experience of growing distant and losing the handful of friends I had in high school so I related a lot to the general sadness and anxiety that the characters felt when the possibility of losing their little circle came up
user, Days came out in 2009
it's very likely the people who played it were in their teens
yeah. noctis crying was.. really unpleasantly dark.
The hero crying cause he has to be the heroic martyrer was really soulcrushing.
I've kinda noticed something about Persona 3. Often times people will talk about what a great story the game has, and I just don't really see it. It's not bad, but not great, either. Especially in regards to the pacing and antagonists.
Rather, I think people mean to say that Persona 3's tone and themes are amazing, which I will absolutely agree with. The game had me fucking bawling at the ending.
>general sadness and anxiety that the characters felt when the possibility of losing their little circle came up
So why cry?
No other game has done it
Because I had actually gone through that when I was about 14-15, with my small informal friend group dissolving because people just found other things to do but I hadn't and I had really no idea whether I would be able to make friends again because I was absolute shit at approaching new people and making a good first impression.
So it reminded me of my own issues and I saw my loneliness reflected in the characters
Which part? I just beat this on PS4, and I really liked the cheesy bit where the Yukes defect to your little ragtag band
...
>shipped
saying good bye to your friends
There should have never been more seasons.
Imagine being a pussy little bitch who cries over video games
The singing at the second to last mission where everyone sings that Celine Dion tier song.
I like S2. It was fun to watch Sarah die. No idea if the other seasons are good though.
How do you pronounce the title? 358 by 2 days?
The full title? Three Hundred Fifty Eight Over Two Days.
Just like that
Those japs were on some good shit to come up with that. I'll stick to just Days then.
any good games with tear jerker ending/moments available on the steam sale right now?
