ONLY 3 years? Dude, my backlog has been going for like 6 years now, and I've only beaten 1 game. That's largely due to me mostly playing multiplayer games though, or posting on Yea Forums instead, or thinking "omg i dont have time for an 80 hour game".

I gotta re-wire my brain and train myself to go at these single player games man. I think I'm making good progress, though unfortunately I started so many different games. Super Mario RPG, Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero, Halo 5, Sunset Overdrive, fuggg. Oh well, time to re-organize and prioritize and go at it!

It can be tough to limit yourself to the main story, sometimes the side missions are more interesting. But, tell yourself that once you finish the main story you'll eventually go back and play through again to be a "completionist." I do it all the time.
