What went wrong?
What went wrong?
I don't know, I haven't played it yet. I will soon though.
too lovecraftian
Third world eurotrash developer happened.
Epic Store instead of Steam and others
No matter how good or bad it is, it's the difference between a game being talked about and it being completely ignored.
What do you mean soon? It doesn't come out till 2020.
nothing, people expect it to be an AAA game experience, that's the only wrong part
is the game cracked yet?
Unironically what game is this
sherlock holmes meets cthulhu its only epic store
I'm playing through that game right now, it's pretty good so far. A bit slow, but intriguing. The clue building and deduction segments are neat, don't see those getting stale any time soon.
The fucking map, though. Jesus that map.
>he bought from epic store
Broken pirated mess
>Lots of bugs
>Crashes
>NPCs spawn right in front of your eyes or glitch thru terrain
>No final boss or big fight in finale
>City stays the same thru the game you just get green lightning in the final
>Can skip scene or other shit if you don't pick solution in Mind Palace
>Combat
>Diving
>Trump joke for some reason
>LOL tentacles
Worse.
I bought it through the Xbox store.
How far are you in the game?
Oh also 3 endings n 2 of them are super fucking short
I finished it. An alright $20 game
played 5 hours, didn't pay
it's garbage, combat is fucking shite, detective work is very repetitive, and worldbuilding goes out the window the second you encounter the mass amount of bugs
Not very. I solved the first mystery, woke up in the Devils-whatever hotel, got bombarded with a shit-load of notes to read that kicked off two side-missions, and now I'm trying to figure out the best way to tackle this fuck-huge map.
lol
Lovecraft is only good in the context of literature. Which is fine.
there are some exterior doors that you can go in that aren't marked with hobo signs. I found two so far.
>that aren't marked
I had no idea, I was always looking for the hobo signs. Anything of note in them or no?
yeah, sometimes they're quest related
Looks like they teased wrong ancient god. Or build city on sinking sand.
How short is it?
The latest Call of Cthulhu was plain garbage with little replay value.
>"We wanted immediate moneys so we killed our product. It was half-assed anyways."
Cool.
From a dev perspective, going with Epic is just good. They get free money, and then they get more money from people when they can "launch" (as if for the first time) on platforms like Steam, where their game will get another boost.
doesn't matter pirating either ways.
15 hours, maybe. Not much replay value except for the alternate endings
Awful jank.
Stinking shitty
Graphics literally looks like a modded fallout 3. Jesus what a shitty running animation.
you could eliminate the combat and lootcraft system and it would be a better game.
Poorly imported EXP and leveling system, tacked on combat, long loads, graphics not loading right away and glitches. The thing that irritates me the most, is nearly every building you walk into triggers a load. The glitches are minor in comparison and kind of hilarious.
>walking down the street
>see an npc in a t-pose
>falls to the ground dead
>another npc walks up to it, lamenting about its fate
>dead body gets up and walks away
>grieving npc doesn't react
It's a damn shame, because I feel with another year it would've been an 8 out of 10, but the combat, load times, and glitches cripple it. The story in the missions are actually interesting and I like solving them because the game doesn't tell you where to go.
