Normal mode is too easy

>Normal mode is too easy
>Bring of Chaos is basically impossible as early as that rat guy and his slave
>Can't decide on where to put the Custom difficulty sliders

What's a good difficulty level for this game? Does it get harder even on normal mode? I hate grinding.

>Not playing BoC

To be fair on OP, BoC isn't the best way to do a first playthrough. I'm also curious what sliders are best for the first time.

In normal mode it starts getting harder by chapter 6, the hardest battle in the game is in chapter 7.

Remember to always play as the way the developers intended

This answer was for OP.

>Want to play NG+ on BoC
>Remember that all of my blades have the best gear and will be OP as shit

But they were going to release a hard mode. The lazy fuckers never did.

Just sell all your gear, and have a billion dollars for... buying tanks?

It's called bringer of chaos

Just stay underlevelled all the time. You'll still be getting instakilled by rage strikes left and right.

play xenoblade x not this shit

Whats wrong with breaking the game? Just go in a powertrip and fuck everything

That's the ultimate mode and was designed for NG+. Hard was hard but possible on NG without getting your balls busted.

It's not mcuh of an RPG if your decisions don't lead you to victory. Though since you have no items and can't really revive anyone in XC2 you don't realize you're fucked until your tank dies after 7 minutes of combat.

Dont waste your time with BoC. Just slightly dial up most of the sliders except health

Fuck this dude, play both instead if you can

If you're playing for the first time stick to normal, if the rat guy (I'm assuming it's dughall) is too hard you don't know what's coming to you.

If not, the Bringer of Chaos for chapter 1-3 until you hit the end boss of chapter 3. Switch to Normal mode for that until you reach chapter 8, put it back to bringer of chaos

>can't really revive anyone in XC2
?

This is actually the better advice, the difficult will peak in chapter 7 but after is just goes down. I also remend you using chapter 8 for doing side quests, if want to do them, because that chapter is just irrelevant.

I played BoC and the bosses are raping my fucking face. First that shark in the boat followed by malus was fucking horseshit. Then the big frog took me over 30 tries because he just gets his entire lifebar back if you don't time a level 4 special EXACTLY at the right time. Then that bitch in the town, holy shit. I've beaten 7th Saga; I should not be having this much trouble.

the game is not designed to be played on BoC in new game mode. I gave up on the chapter 3 end boss. Stick to normal, trust me, you'll have a far better time even if the first few chapters are super easy. If you still want something more challenging try to hunt for optional bosses

>chapter 8 is irrelevant
what

Just don't use your extra exp and you will be fine

yeah this. Play normal, Ignore Inn EXP, take the hard route in leftheria

>malus was fucking horseshit
you haven't seen anything yet
