Yeah. A good way to split it is Expert, Trials, and Normal Raid for for your 80 character to get tomestones and Alliance, Leveling, and MSQ if you can stomach it for the exp

if there wasn't a deal already going on then ffxiv would already be on xbox since xbox uses the same directX api and windows kernel as PC so porting would be very quick. xbox already does crossplay with ps4 for dauntless, fortnite, and rocket league. so there's no excuse other than some deal with sony.

Just a tank stance, it multiplies your aggro by about 10x. You keep it on all the time in 4-man duties and there's a tiny bit of nuance to using it in content with more than 1 tank, but essentially if you're currently holding the boss (between tank swaps or just the main tank) you keep it on the entire time

Every zone should take 3-5 hours depending on your luck and group efficiency. All in all you can 100% ShB in about 4 days (including the crafting quests).

Mercifully, almost everyone that was in my trial was wearing their artifact gear, I'm assuming because they probably gunned it through Araumot without going back to a city for glam first.

Personally, I think for some of those exceedingly important trials, they should force a job glamor on everyone clientside so if it's your first time there after it's been a while, you're not seeing snowmen and swimsuit cats as your backup. Everyone else appears unglamoured since they've completed it.

It does have to be something aspected to the proper element. For example, the Calamity of Water was triggered by the overuse of magic. Because magic is tied to the water element on a primordial level. The Calamity of Lightning was caused by industrial pollution because lightning is tied to creation and industry.

I went through the expac as a WAR thinking it'd be my main job, but now I can't decide between it, GNB, and PLD. I'll probably lean to whatever has the best glamour options. I personally like exploding shit with an axe, but I'm having more fun with GNB's combo vs spamming fell cleave several times.

Has anyone else felt like tank DPS is insane this expansion? I'm out DPSing almost everyone I come across in 80 dungeons, not by a large margin, but a noticeable amount where I can't usually distinguish my damage output from other DPS. I've only had one time so far when I've been completely blown the fuck out on a boss by a BLM who outdid me by about 50%.

Not him but honestly its not that bad, we have different camera angles and what not. If you care to make your lalafell look good and not a meme it doesn't take away from it honestly. I enjoyed it throughout and took it seriously.

Reminder that the Light is passive.

Theoretically, the Void could be fixed. You would have to literally kill every single voidsent on the entire planet, but it's a possibility.

The key to fixing it would be to "restart" the lifestream by releasing massive amounts of aether, currently that's impossible because the voidsent are devouring any stray aether flowing through the void and hording it for themselves. If you could somehow prevent them from gorging themselves on the released aether after you killed various other voidsent, you could eventually reclaim that world.

Inner Chaos is, I think, the single hardest hitting attack in the game next to a full DNC dance, and has a guaranteed crit/DH at the same time. I know it shows up at best once every 45 seconds, but still.

Fell Cleave has been completely eclipsed though, even spamming five in a row doesn't really feel like you're melting anything and literally every other tank has their own Fell Cleave equivalent.

We've been /told/ that Hydaelyn is light and Zodiark is darkness, but that was when we associated light with the astral and dark with the umbral. In reality we don't have any definitive answer.

Unless you dress up as a slut or goofy shit no one's character should take the seriousness out of the cutscenes.

The source considers light to be aspected towards Astral, while the First considers it to be their version of Umbral, stasis. In practice, it's likely light and darkness could take either side, as we do have examples of Light being responsible for the creation of life and dark being responsible for entropy and decay, while we also have the first where the two are found switched around.
