Show me a worse boss arena I fucking dare you
Show me a worse boss arena I fucking dare you
>roll left
>climb stairs
>boss climb stairs
>jump stairs
>boss jump stairs
>attack boss as he is on the floor
>repeat
>roll left
>get cornered by dogs and smashed by Capra
>double roll left
the problem with this arena is that the gameplay doesnt revolve around it,it doesnt let you grab onto the stair's ledges and the boss wont wait you to jump down after ascending them making it an easy dumb pattern you can use to win, with the boss getting stuck on the first steps of the stair;or the boss hitting a wall (because everything is narrow) wont have him be stunned because his weapon only clips through everything which makes it idiotic all around
if all of this applied then it would've been a nice arena, otherwise it just plays glitchy and ultimately sucks that the retarded arena makes up for 90% of the difficulty in the fight
literally get good
the ultimate casual filter
you know anyone complaining about him is an incompetent idiot
It's cool because that boss actually has a super easy pattern to identify, that's why they had to put dogs in there to make it harder. The fact that the room has a vertical dimension to it is actually awesome. I think this is honestly a pretty good boss arena compared to most flat round areas you fight bosses in.
if you don't count the butterfly (using the witch) this was BY FAR the easiest boss in the game, at least for me
I know he's easy to forget but pinwheel is pretty fucking pathetic, I doubt hee gave you a harder time than anything in the game.
Literally any arena for mini-bosses in Sekiro. Literally zero effort put in, just a random place in a level.
Ignore the fags saying this is an easy boss fight.
Its cheap and cramped, the boss itself isn't tough but they purposely made the stage difficult as fuck to compensate.
Fucking dogs and a small ass corridor.
>not this fucker
not to mention the run to the boss fight is the worst in the entire game. Pretty much have to kill everything because it's close quarters
you can cheese this boss with dung pie ffs its not even a fight
Gotta disagree and say the first greater demon is easiest.
Just run between legs, climb ladder and perform jumping attack as he approaches.
Rinse and repeat 4 times.
oh god, yes, i had a harder time with those motherfuckers on wheels than pinwheel desu
Also, i was so scared of Nito, but he also wasn't that hard, specially comparing to how scary he looked
Not counting Artorias and Manus my top 3 hardest are:
SIF > Ornstein/Smough > Quelaag
the boss fight isn't hard it's just the first few seconds when you enter and immediately get gang banged before the fog gate has even cleared
Sif and Quelaag what the fuck
OP here, those are 2 of the easiest fights for me. Especially Quelaag
I can imagine them being a bit more difficult if you're afraid to get too close when it's the exact thing you should do to stay mostly safe
I know, that's what I said, it's definitely the most gimmicky boss fight
>Quelaag
Ridiculously easy, just stay on the right side of her spider's head and she cannot hit you while the head will move you for you if she tries to rotate. She can only hit you with the ridiculously evidently telegraphed Wrath of the Gods shit and feet stomp. I can agree with the rest.
Griffon 2
I ghink you meant "best boss"
Most underrated post in the history of Yea Forums
Pinwheels backstory is incredibly sad and dark
>Didn't unlock shortcut
This fight is legitimately class-based (i.e. the starting armor set). For some classes it's trivial and for others it's a pain in the ass. Same with Curse, some starting class sets have high resistance and it takes several seconds to get cursed, others have low res and get cursed in like half a second.
Yeah I honestly have no idea, I beat the game around 10 times by now but I still have no fucking clue what the plot/lore is about. As far as I'm concerned I'm just a dude with a sword who goes through a shithole to beat up an old man.
what shortcut
Lmao2gargoyles in demon's souls is a tiny ass fucking walkway.
Literally any of Nioh dual boss fights.
Shortcut to the boss. Barely any enemies on the way.
I don't understand what was supposed to be hard about this
Bed of Chaos, in the very same game
it's not difficult, it's just unfair and frustrating and if you fuck up it takes three billion years to get back to the arena
its attacks are actually pretty pathetic but if you get unlucky it'll push you around like a piece of shit and fling you into a pit
only difficulty with him was the arena, i understood what i needed to do (kill dogs first) and got this bitch ass nigga second try
, however, speaks the truth here.
Lmao he does not know
Bed of chaos really isn't that bad.
Is it annoying? Sure
Is it bad design? Probably
But the thing is, the fire orbs whatever don't reset on death, so if you just make a suicide dash to them and poise through the arms, it's not that bad since all that's left is running down the middle branch.
jfc i completely forgot about that
I've been running from the Undead Burg, killing all the assassins and dogs over and over
does he mean the aqueduct? isn't that like 2x longer from either the Burg or Firelink?
not that user but no lie, i died to Quelaag the most on my first playthrough. i hate spiders to death and i absolutely abhorred having to even tap that fire booty
Ornstein and Quelaag were the only ones of those I found hard. But mainly because I never played ds1 except for my first time a month ago (yes it took me a month to beat it), so I wasn't used to getting super close to enemies. Especially with ornstein/smough gang banging you if you so much as look at them the wrong way.
That being said, once you get the fights down they feel super rewarding to beat. I hope I never forget the feeling of triumph after beating ornstein after 2 days of trying and getting past what many would consider the "casual filter" of ds1.
Also also, Sif was super easy. Beat him on my first try and was pretty disappointed with how easy he was to deal with.
still no enemies in the way
queelag is pain for slow characters, but come the fuck on, who fatrolls these days. ornie was decent
running from Firelink through the aqueduct is longer but there's less enemies
i suppose anything's better than those fuckin dogs on the street
The tactic from this year's SGDQ blew my mind, trivializes the fight. No glitches even
