>game has multiplayer mode that's far from being the main focus of the game
>devs seem to add it just because
>ends up being as fun, if not more fun than the main game
What's her name, Yea Forums?
Game has multiplayer mode that's far from being the main focus of the game
Pokemon?
is there even a game like this?
Bio shock 2
Fortnite
Never happened
Mass Effect 3, the devs didn't even make it though, it was outsourced
mass effect 3
It was definitely not better than the main game but it was fun for a while. Unfortunately it's dead now
May allah curse the zoomers and their grand ignorance.
The answer is golden eye
goldeneye
MAX PAYNE 3
>it's dead and will never come back
goldeneye was shit
t. Perfect Dark
Doom
TLOU and Uncharted.
people seemed to like that tagged on multiplayer in the last of us, but i never tried it.
Lost Planet 1
Is this an edit or did Teen Titans Go animators really draw this tit monster?
Starfox 64
why is he shitting out butter?
I'm like 10 missions into the singleplayer and honestly can't stop playing the multiplayer. It's really, really fun.
mass effect 3
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Perfect Dark too
No such game exists, and anyone who says otherwise is a lying sack of shit
perfect dark was shit
t. banjo tooie
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Is the average Yea Forumsedditor really too young to remember that?
Multiplayer is trash though, so that's never happened.
okay, retard
Edit, probably from Yea Forums since the nips ain't exposed.
you're shit
t. your mom
Crysis 3
Banjo Kazooie Nuts n Bolts
Far Cry 3 had some fun multiplayer
Not sure it counts from being far from the main focus but Faceball 2000's multiplayer was fucking awesome. I got so many hours out of it even when I was shit at the game.
Hopefuly the multiplayer in doom eternal will be good.
Was Banjo tooie's MP closer to DK64 or CBFD?
Plenty of fine examples of such games posted in the thread though.
Halo: Combat Evolved
MGS4
katawa shoujo is the best mp game actually, retard
Dark Souls, of course. Took three games to perfect it, but no doubt it was pretty amazing from the start.
your mom
t. you're shit
Goddamn MGO2 was amazing. Shit could have been sold at fully price by itself.
DK64 is still my favorite console shooter
I know. My aggression was towards the obvious game OP was implying and that he's wrong about. My own answer would be Banko-Tooie, but I find the main game just as fun as the multiplayer so I can't say if that's a good example.
imagine goldeneye but with eggs
>dark souls 3 pvp
>amazing
based retard
quake obviously
Every single Pokemon launch.
too bad cbfd ran at 10 fps most of the time
Why wasn't MGO3 good?
The last of us. As brilliant as the main story was, the multiplayer was even better.
>he never experienced the 4v2v2 invasions
what the flying fuck are you talking about? that game had no multiplayer
More to the point, that guy clearly didn't understand that OP's pic is about a game that looks shit in development and then comes out great, not a series that (supposedly) got better over time
Because they changed the formula for the game, also Konami stopped development on it so resources could go to Kojima finishing the actual fucking game.
I never played Goldeneye, or the Banjo series; Dk64, CBFD(64), and Perfect Dark is about the extent of knowledge for 64 Rare.
dark souls
james bond: nightfire
timesplitters:future perfect
All WWE games
quake
GRID
red dead redemption
Rainbowsix vegas
fable 2
GTA 4
>there are multiplayer achievements
imagine perfect dark but you shoot different types of egg
The main focus of timesplitters FP is not singleplayer
and you're yoshi too haha
That’s literally Star Fox Assault’s only reason of relevancy, it’s multiplayer is god tier
The only true answer
Did they even know they were creating a fad
>Duke3d
>Any strategy game that was campaign based before they started focusing on multiplayer (sc, wc, ra, cnc)
>quake
>doom
Goldeneye 007 for the N64
Imagine being so triggered by a comic you feel the need to edit it.
Just imagine.
>he doesn't know
It wasn't as unique as the originals but it was still pretty fun
half-life 1
Not really multiplayer per se but GTA:SA had a co-op mode that hardly worked but was a fucking blast. Much like cheat codes I'm pretty sure it was just an advanced feature they were testing out and left it accessible for fun.
Geist
Mass Effect 3
Original Diablo IIRC
There was no multiplayer for dxhr
You have to play the multiplayer to increase readiness, it was definitely a main focus
>he didnt play the multiplayer
Catherine
you could do stuff in the story too
Not him but there’s literally no multiplayer mode/mods/hacks lol
That was really fun. I remember a friend and me would take turns driving a plane while the other stood on the wing
>dark souls
Are you fucking high? Nobody expected dark souls to be shit. The people who played demon's were hyped as all fuck
he said the multiplayer you double nig
I'm pretty sure the multiplayer mode wasn't just tacked on, though.
literally can't get """"best"""" ending
literally MGS4
Mario Kingdom Battle
>Golden Eye
I guess you're not a zoomer because only boomers would ever think 7 FPS fucking Goldeneye was good
With the patch and DLC you can easily get the top tier ending especially if your game is running at perfect 100% heroism and you save everyone. Of course that is completely accurate for release day
It also doesnt change the ending sucking ME:A being utter shit and me still being mad
in EU it's very hard to get a match, 90% the time you search for a match you end up in a game hosted by a guy named ALIENTECH that plays Geth Juggernaut and constantly shoots at his teammates. First time I saw it was 3 years ago, last time a couple of weeks back. Probably pure autism
The third one is actually Dark Souls 2
>First time I saw it was 3 years ago, last time a couple of weeks back
kek
I think what turns people off from the game is the graphics. But that's not really a valid point as there already is a graphics mod that makes the game look to rival even GTA V.
The story is cliche but flashy enough to be awesome, the protagonist isn't overly edgy and it's never ambiguous as to what his motives are, I think it's a good game.
In contrast to Watch Dogs 2 where a lighthearted story doesn't help one bit
