I hate JRPGs (and most Japanese games in general), I hate slashers, I don't generally enjoy unreasonably difficult games, I don't like games that take themselves seriously and yet have no coherent narrative, and I especially hate games that treat being impenetrable/getting the player lost as a good thing.
So I'm fairly sure I'm going to hate this (having never played a soulsborne before), and yet I still feel like I need to try it. Will I regret my purchase?
