This game had such a cool premise and it did absolutely nothing with it. They somehow made the gameplay and setting some of the most boring shit, I don't know how.
Really everything from when you enter the city was great
They should never have explained the Reaper's background and the trilogy should just have ended with everyone dying. The only variation in endings being how they all lose to the reapers.

A good ending would be Shepard and co. finally getting the plans to the super-weapon that might save them, but they're too late to save the galaxy.
So they freeze themselves, travel through a black hole, or use some other way of traveling forward in time. The ending is Shepard and co. arriving in front of a panicked senate, filled with new kinds of aliens, ready to help.
Make it a bittersweet ending.
I definitely agree that their origins and motives never should have been explained, with the caveat that it would only be a good idea if doing so somehow leads to the Reaper's defeat. Otherwise I don't think the origin/motives really ought to matter that much. The core theme of the series is Shepard's squad, which is a microcosm of the galaxy, working together to defeat a terrible threat.

This is retarded and would have made the games an even bigger waste of time than ME3's ending made them.
The only true answer is to never have done any sequels. There is no narratively satisfying way to end that story. I can't think of any narratively sensible way of defeating the Reapers. The Dark Energy ending that was the original plan wasn't much better than what we got.
I agree that they shouldn't have explained the reapers motivations and origins, but your ending is terrible

I think that the systems they use are the best in any crpg available. Character creation is near perfect, the magic system is the best all around, especially ng+ and after. Your choices feel meaningful and directly impact the story with dire conequences and great opportunities. The creation of your characters background is also genius.
It didnt have enough time to perfect the world and story, sadly, but its still a joy.
Also you HAVE to play with your PC being a mage, everything else is boring just how I like it

Ive been shitting on QTE's for a while, and I know asura's wrath is even easier then god of war but damn Capcom knew how to make it fun. I think in a way its style is its substance.
No I agree as well, I think for most part QTEs are fag shit. The difference is in asuras wrath you actually FEEL like you're doing something. It's not "DUH tap to open door or dodge!", it's "DAMN NIGGA YOU NEED TO GROW MORE ARMS, SHIT THAT MOTHER FUCKER IS COMING DOWN ON YOU LIKE A METEOR!" asuras wrath really is lightning in a bottle.
