I did buy it and I wish I hadn't, in my opinion it was one of the worst games I played that year.
A mediocre JRPG which lured people in with nothing but promises of fanservice and Yuri only to reveal a poorly optimised pile of crap which lacked any meaningful gameplay, a story to make you even give a shit about following and as per Gust tradition refused to do anything new or daring.

Sadly I couldn't even get my money back from this to buy something better

When I see never ending numbers of threads for this game and the Atelier games I think Gust's fanbase is its own worst enemy.

Fans could easily be banding together to demand more from the devs but instead would rather just draw fanart for them to make the games appeal to normfags.

The problem with Gust isn't a lack of interest in their games, it's complacency. They know no matter how bad of a game they put out is the usual people will buy it and that keeps the lights going. There's simply no incentive for them to be ambitious anymore like in the past when they were getting on their feet
