Aladdin

why do I see the SF4 VS used so often
Super Nintendo.
Aladdin is a thief he doesn't use a sword. Also Capcom is a better dev than Virgin
I had a Sega Genesis growing up, so I'm going to say the one by Virgin Interactive. I should play the SNES game someday.
SNES version is a better game overall imo
It's a nice styled font.
I always preferred the Genesis one because you get an awesome sword. Although like one user said the SNES one is probably a better representation of Aladdin as a character. Most likely had better levels too.
SNES no contest. the pixel art and music are superb where genesis look AND sounds like ass.
I just remember it was like $100 so I never played it.
They're both mediocre. Argue about which Mickey Mouse game is better instead.
It's the Illusion games
>Aladdin is a thief he doesn't use a sword.
He does use a sword in the Kingdom Hearts games.
>thiefs don't use weapons
left, based solely on nostalgia.
who are you quoting?
ur mum
Genesis one had better music

Right had better mechanics but the level design was safe to the point that the mechanics don't get utilised enough.
also carper gliding ruined it.
A new challenger
I can't tell if serious
Yeah, I remember the levels being pretty simple even as a kid.
Anyone worth their salt in retro gaming will tell you that the Genesis version has more impressive presentation but the SNES version is more fun to play. Virgin Interactive were one of the better developers, but western platformers at the time were pretty terrible. If Capcom knew how to do anything at the time, it was a mechanically solid platformer (if unexceptional).
There's a lot of console wars mudslinging that happens in every discussion of the game, but they're honestly both pretty decent.

i never played the genesis bu t i owned and loved the snes.
>tfw that comfy carpet lvl with jasmine where you collect gems peacefully.
