That table looks neat user, never played it
Pic related is one of the most hype tables from its era, It's simple rule-wise and I may have nostalgic memories tied to it but I think it holds up today. I also fell hard for TOTAN when it was the free table on The Pinball Arcade but that seemed like too easy an answer.
I doubt this thread has any legs at all, but I'm glad you shared all the same
>boss can steal your IRL money
Lord of the Rings pinball was pretty great
Fun fact:
When people would try very hard in the early days of pinball machines, they would attempt and grab the machine to tilt the pinball in the direction they wanted. If they got really angry they would tilt the machine harder. This is where the term "tilted" came from.
it's deadpool
if you ever see it at a bar, I recommend loading it with credits. It's pretty satisfying and bountiful. But you should play with a friend watching the screen, there are all kinds of menues and stuff that pop up when you're not looking.
dude, there's a new black knight at my pinball bar. It's fun as hell. I'd love to try this one.
Newbie here, what's the go-to for digital pinball? I keep hearing something about The Pinball Arcade losing licenses.
This motherfucker, Scared Stiff, or Bad Cats. Hard to choose, but I'll dump quarters into any of them.
The GOAT.
Honorable mentions are Funhouse, Dr. Dude, and Simpsons Pinball Party
This is probably the most complex machine I've ever played since there's like 5 different ways you can beat the game.
not video games
You can "find" Pinball Arcade out there with a bunch of tables anyway.
I'll keep an eye out, probably next time I'm in Portland visiting family and end up hitting up Ground Kontrol
my nigga
I’m a zoomer that never really had a chance to play pinball machines outside the Adams Family one. Were they fun in their hay day?
Is there a pinball RPG with deep leveling mechanics and autistic grinding
because I want one now
Pinball FX3 currently has the Williams license and have been steadily releasing tables. The physics feel kind of wonky compared to TPA, but they're good enough.
Yeah, Pinball Arcade lost the Bally/Williams license. Which meant that a LOT of their tables can't be played anymore. They still have the license for Gottlieb and Stern, so if you want those tables, get Pinball Arcade.
Pinball FX now has the Bally/Williams rights. But I think they changed some stuff up (added CG elements, censored scantily clad women). Overall, FX is fun, has a lot of good original licensed tables that do stuff that wouldn't be possible IRL.
For both of them, you get 1 table at the start and have to pay for each individually, keep that in mind.
Yeah, honestly you should go check it out for yourself if you have a pinball arcade anywhere near you.
I'm lucky to have one nearby but honestly they're just as fun as regular vidya.
The one here has a lot of cool stuff like gathering evidence, solving murder mysteries and playing roulette if that's what you're looking for.
The South Park one
>the only pinballs available are in movie theaters
>they always have something wrong with them
Is there a term for this aesthetic? I love it.
The Viking table from True Pinball, PS1
>Phoenix Wright pinball
Wtf that sounds kino as fuck
I heard a lot of complaints that the Pinball FX versions of the Bally/Williams tables have screwed up ball physics.
>PS4 screwed up putting up one of the last Pinball Arcade seasons one day last year or so
>was able to grab 6 or so tables including the Ghostbusters one for less than 5 dollars
So glad I noticed that as they took it down several hours later and put it back up at full price.
Judge Dredd
Indy 500
Star Trek TNG
and the absolute GOAT Twilight Zone
I'm too much of a brainlet to put the time into figuring out Twilight Zone's full rules. I'll probably love it someday.
>Mfw buying every single pinball arcade pack right before they got taken down
>Get to play Addams Family and Monster Bash whenever i want
Find a barcade, they usually keep their shit in better shape.
This thing fucking rules.
Not that user, I've never tried any digital Pinball before. Downloading FX3 now.
BLACK HOLE IS THE ONLY CORRECT AWNSER
fuck this one looks so cool
>tfw played it as NWPAS and got stuck on my first goddamn ball
you're still my nigga, though
Yeah it's great, you can do interrogations of suspects and you have to do a chase sequence to catch them for each mystery (which changes every time you play it).
Also it's got a fantastic soundtrack (which I wish I could find online) that's intense as fuck when you do shit like multiball.
>You have reached the end of your journey.
>Survival, is everything.
>LOST. IN. THE. ZONE.
"'80s as fuck".

>tfw Pinburgh is less than 1 month away
My local pinball arcade just got this in last weekend, maybe I'll swing by there tomorrow and try it out.
It's pretty simple as far as the ruleset goes and can get a little repetitive but Elvira is like one of the only 3D women I wanna fuck so it gets high marks
You're in for alot of mid-90s cheese, but if it doesn't charm your pants off you'll still have a great playfield and ruleset on your hands. Have fun
I think the simplicity and repitition works in its favor, it's lightning quick going from mode to mode and doesn't require much attention despite absorbing all of it just like TV
any title with 2000 in it is from the 80's
yeah that I figured, but I meant like the whole concept of a Knight riding a Horse but in future armor, using Magic but there's Sci-Fi towers and shit everywhere
