Elvis!
PC Port

For Joanna Dark to have tits that you can see when you look down.

based

A quirky Joanna dark
A sweet Hub that is the grounds of one of the missions
Tranqs and Nbombs dont give me permanent eyestrain

considering microsoft puts everything on PC now i can see it happening

For Chicago to not suck ass on Perfect Agent

>still no Rare Replay
But hey, we got Pirates....
yay...

A continuation of the cheesy sci-fi story. With characters as flashy as Cassandra de Vries or Trent Easton.
More crazy, imaginative high tech weapons with secondary function.
Same amounrñt of options in multiplayer.
A soundtrack as awesome as the first one
a crossover with Timesplitters

>Tranqs and Nbombs dont give me permanent eyestrain
That was the best part though.

In an alternate timeline where Banjo and Kazooie where part of the first smash and Rare remained with Nintendo Joanna would have been a recent newcomer with an Elvis assist trophie, a dataDyne central stage, a farsight and laptop gun as items

Perfect Dark is forever.

You can't make accusations like that without evidence!

ACT YOUR AGE JOANNA

DON'T MIND ME, JUST THE BEST WEAPON PASSING THROUGH

Joanna was oke of my first waifus.

Had to dig deep to find this one.

holy shit, i think this dev was the face of him

Attached: dev.png (1303x649, 480K)

You might be onto something.
The voice was Cris Sutherland, though.

Attached: images (3).jpg (178x283, 10K)

It wouldn't surprise me if most of the main characters were the dev team. Most of the random guard faces were were journalists they scanned at E3.

So I understand that Free radical design was formed by a part of the Rare team for Goldeneye and they departed before making Perfect Dark, but was there any overlap?
Did some devs for Perfect Dark also work in Tinesplitters or viceversa?

Attached: IMG_9161.jpg (1024x576, 88K)

Hows the 360 remaster?

Sutherland was the guy who voiced all the male characters in corker, right? (aside fom the great mighty poo)

That crate doesn't like being shot

>Most of the random guard faces were were journalists they scanned at E3.
Holy ruck, that's great!

Attached: IMG_1487.jpg (400x324, 26K)

At least one of them was Miyamoto himself.

>Perfect Dark
Deus Ex-lite is what I would want at the minimum. Just making it a standard FPS makes it pointless.

Probably one of the best remasters ever.

>those god awful bloomspam lights EVERYWHERE

It was good other than that. Holy shit, it's like eye rape man.

The video made by the devs says that the split happened while they were still making PD, it's very interesting

Never played the original, but the 360 game had fun multiplayer. Used to boot it up and jerk it to the models. Good times.

I think so, besides Conker himself being Chris Seavor.
Sutherland is now at Playtonic. He did an interview in the Kongversation podcast and acted out that Daniel Carrington line.

Huh, what crate?

Attached: 1548166034224.jpg (1280x720, 44K)

This, huge ones at that.

Zero wasn't that bad. Just undercooked.

I think actually Seavor voice all the charactes except mighty poo

Sooo what does Yea Forums think about perfect dark zero?
Or Joanna's design?
Making her a red head was... Interesting.

GoldenEye's director quit to go work for Nintendo during PD's development. I think Sutherland took over from him. There's a reason TimeSplitters feels a lot more GE-esque than PD-esque. PD had a strong focus on humanizing enemies, for instance. Disarming enemies, stuff like that. TimeSplitters focused on shooting. Fast paced 60fps shooting.

Kek, this poor man got bullied so hard while doing the mocap for Joanna and the other characters

>Sooo what does Yea Forums think about perfect dark zero?
Mess of a game. Needed to be completely rebooted. Again. Interesting tech ambition, ugly as fuck visuals. A shame PD: Core was killed.
>Making her a red head was... Interesting.
She was originally meant to have red hair in PD, but she ended up with a brown-ish look. What I dislike is Rare caving and giving her an American accent. Yes, the character is actually meant to be American, but the original Joanna has a nice line delivery that is missing from smarmy American teenager nu-Joanna.

I liked it but can't remember much of it. I hope they port it to PC one day.

She was already a red head, though her hair was more brown in the N64 game.

>Perfect Dark is set in 2020
>We are in 2019
Yea Forumsr... Yea Forumsros? we are going to get a new game for next year, right?

When was Jo not a redhead?

I'm pretty sure only Zero was set in 2020. But yes, Ken Lobb did say back in 2015 that it would be interesting to see a new Perfect Dark in 2020. There have been rumours of a new PD floating around since early 2018, but nobody knows who is making it. Likely a third party developer that made a pitch Rare accepted.

>anime style Joanna
Oh fuck I kinda remember that.
Anyone has those Joanna concepts before they go for the final one for PDZ?
Also anyone know where this one is from?

QUICK
What's your favorite weapon?
For me, it's the douboe phoenix.

That's not Joanna. That's Lara Croft from Tomb Raider: Underworld, complete with Thor's hammer.

Why was the soundtrack so awesome, bros?

Attached: Store-Perfect-Dark-Cover-582x583.jpg (582x583, 129K)

No. It's just fine as it is. It doesn't need an injection of progressive bullshit that it would most likely get.

the answer is right there on the cover

It annoys me that most people associate Kirkhope with Banjo instead of Perfect Dark and GoldenEye.

that is sad, we were able to get female characters that were likeable and cool and without any progressive shit before but now the game will get pozzed hard

i miss when fps games had a shitload of crazy ass weapons like with Turok and the cerebral bore

Has anyone played the Gameboy Color version?

Attached: pd gc.png (252x252, 138K)

Yes. It's not very good.

I remember when me and my brother played it, we uaed to choose the goldeneye level with the bathrooms, pick eight fist sims, put only remote mines, put like fifty mines all around the bathroom, where the Sims team respawned, then detonate the mines and witness a long ass series of explosions that lasted like five or ten minutes and the Sims dieing nad respawning and getting killed by the constant explosions again ujtil it subsided.
We laughed our asses off. Such good memories.

beat it only due to my love of the original. perfect dark zero was a let down in my own opinion. just didn't like the art style..

I allways tought she had brownish hair, lookint at the rendwrs now, it does look red-ish.

I agree, the original Joanna voice is great, cute too.

Attached: 1240298-perfect_dark_n64_ad_large.jpg (693x918, 145K)

Joanna is sexy, sexier than Samus, dare I say it.

Attached: joanna birthday kev.png (5000x5000, 2.49M)

As always, Rare just used one of their devs for the voice of the character, kinda amazing that the voice acting in their games never was bad despite them never using actors

Attached: Jo's voice.png (1187x645, 709K)

Pdz was a disaster. It was shocking to watch one of the best studios of n64 generation to fucking faceplant so quickly.

Yeah, poor dude. His suffering was not in vain, at least.

>Perfect Dark was directly inspired by Ghost in the shell
Awesome!

Attached: joanna-dark-1.jpg (1024x768, 98K)

PC port would be pretty cool. I'm not sure if I'd trust them with a new game though. I feel like it would be indistinguishable from all the other generic AAA shooters that come out nowadays.

I'd like to not see it at all since I don't want to think too hard at just how obnoxious and 'woke' a modern Joanna Dark would be.

Sadly yes, games today (speacially shooters) lack the identity games from the past built

I would love to see Jo again but modern devs will make her an ugly tranny looking feminist, why modern gaming has to be so cruel?

It also has a Cyberpunk reference.

POND PUNK in Chicago almost certainly means Mike PONDsmith, CyberPUNK.
