Look I've been a big Banjo Kazooie supporter for years, and yes I will shamelessly admit to have neen partaking into the Banjoboomer vs Stevezoomer war at some point to some extent. But it was mainly for the shitposting.
For a time it was a somehwat humorous time killer, but now that since Banjo and Kazooie are in Smash, what is the point of shitposting dead memes like this anymore? If anything its just getting redundant and annoying.

The next Smash will likely have a roster size somewhere between Melee and Brawl and will see some sort of drastic changes to the engine due to finally being handed to a new director.

Unless of course, Sakurai breaks and lets Nintendo pull him back in. If that happens, he's going to repeat Ultimate because he won't let himself dial back on the series, but I really doubt he's going to come back after Ultimate. It was his swan song and will mark the end of the Sakurai era of Smash. He's too tired both physically and emotionally to go through that shit again and at best, he'll take an advisory role for whoever takes up the mantle.
