Any of the N64 ones. I own 1-7 so I played plenty of the GCN ones when I was younger, but even back then 4-7 seemed a tier or two below 1-3 in terms of everything.

I never was that affected by the game's flaws, even though I do know they're there. Game is kind of slow & board design being rectangular for the most part doesn't sit well with a lot of people, but I think there's enough branching paths and specifics to make each map good enough, the minigames are good, and the economy outside of the broken Mega Shroom is the best in the series in my opinion, with everything having the right cost.
Mario Party 3 is a close second.

I'm torn between 2 and 3. I think 2 has better boards and minigames. But the item system of 3 and the new items add a lot of unique opportunities. I really wish we had some sort of fan megagame that combines 1, 2, and 3.

I had the most fun with 1 and 2, but I don't really have a favorite. There's a few solid entries and some really good ones.
But man, Mini-game Island and Mini-game Coaster were kind of big things for me. I really, REALLY enjoyed them.

Personally I would say Mario Party 3 had the better boards because of Action Time.

That is a good point. I guess I should say 3's main advantage was that between the items and action time, you had far more control of your character. Actual planning could be done to greatly reduced RNG.

The only truly bad ones are 9 and 10 for obvious reasons. Super is pretty mediocre due to only 4 small maps and a super shitty coin economy.1 isn’t very good just because it’s so archaic. I’m also not a huge fan of 7 due to the abundance of orbs and how small the maps are. Any other one is great in my book. To answer your question, I guess my favorite would be 6.
I don’t think there’s a single game in the series that has a bad selection of minigames though.

While 5 has some good minigames elsewhere and my favorite RNG minigame of the series, man if 5's 1v3s aren't all super rigged for either the 1 or the 3.
I'm sure you remember that Snake minigame from 5 on a path: Legit impossible to win as the 3.

Tough question I haven't played all of them and I'm indifferent about a few but I'd have to go with this:
6 > 3 > 2 > 4 > 7
Don't care enough about the rest to order them, however 4's feature of making your own minigame lists was fucking amazing and I wish it became a staple feature of every following MP since then. I had so much fun with that shit.

3 is literally the worst one you fucking retard. It has the most tedious unfun mini games of them all. When it is picking the random minigames at the end of the round, 9 out of 10 times you will groan because it just picked a dogshit, boring as fuck one.
