Why can't smash players just be normal?
I be taking out my anger because I’m upset that I’m not good enough at the game to win tournaments but every time I go to one I’m so uncomfortable because I’m relatively normal and smash players are the least sociable people on the planet. Most of them speak in 1-3 word sentences, they don’t say good game, they don’t engage in small talk, and they don’t understand social cues. It seems that most are there just to lose, get angry, and smell bad.

I've gone to tournaments for smash for almost a decade and desu the community is fucking awful and toxic. Started playing Tekken a year ago and the difference is insane. In most FGC games players want more people to come into the fold and are overall cool people. I like smash more as a game but the people are unlikeable losers.
Smashies are retarded though. Its rare to act like a complete caveman in the FGC. Things get heated sometimes, people break pads/sticks/etc and even get into fights but its exceedingly rare. In the Smash community however its a common occurrence to break pads, slam chairs, bang desks, etc. Especially Melee fags. Melee fags are next level stupid.
