Well, what about Shepard?
Well, what about Shepard?
why didn't the collectors shoot the normandys escape pods or capture them because they wanted human test subjects?
Honestly kind of a faggot.
I recommend Beef Hamsquatch.
What was his name?
She'll fuck anything that moves.
I said it pretty clearly, it's JalapeƱo Hard-on
I didn't quite catch that, could you repeat it?
Volus, Elcor, Krogan, you name it.
Not enough Hanar art.
Hamsandwich Burger
Irrefutable, don't @ me.
Check the file, his name is Lieutenant Barge McLarge, otherwise known as El Macho Muchacho Gazpacho, the 2nd.
I'd switch Jack and Grunt.
>Garrus at cosmic brain
Brainlet detected. Garrus was best in ME1 and he paled in comparison to Wrex.
>furfags
Mass Effect was the last great sci-fi game.
Debate me.
The Sun hasn't expanded and engulfed what remains of Earth yet. Although so far it seems depressingly likely.
Garrus is legit throughout. Especially in 3 because of a single scene alone, son.
Why has sci-fi and space operas completely vanished? I just want an immersive game I can lose myself in instead of all these battle royals and looter shooters.
It just kills me to this day that such an interesting universe has been destroyed / squandered.
Just imagine a timeline in which ME3 had an ending that left open the entire world for future games, so that we could go back to that universe and explore more of the citadel, more of the various important planets in the galaxy, etc. A world in which the failed abortion that was Andromeda doesn't exist.
Mass Effect 1 is such a great game, despite all its large flaws in design, gameplay, UI, etc. because it actually built and carefully developed an interesting world with good lore, interesting species and characters, and a neat history of humanity, first contact, the protheans, etc. All of that destroyed / ruined by the sequels and the ever-present desire that game writers have to explain every little fucking thing.
I just want to go back to 2007, exploring that world for the first time, learning about the universe, it was all fresh and new and while I know even Mass Effect 1 is a dumbed down RPG, the sequels did far worse and it was still one of those 3D RPGs that really gave you hope for the future of the video game industry... and look where it went from there.
I swear to god, 2007 was far from the perfect year in video games, but it felt like one of the last years where almost all games released were fresh / new IPs with original ideas. Everything these days is just a rehash, a sequel no one wants, or some F2P / battle royal / multiplayer only bullshit I just fucking hate it.
I know most of you won't read all this but I don't care, I just need to vent. I hate what video games are these days and I wanna go back...
>reviving a dead franchise only to kill it and shit on its corpse
gg bioware
But it's, like so overused and stuff. It's, like, sooo last week... I mean month... erm, year?
>despite all its large flaws in design, gameplay
It's not a prim and proper shooter. The muh cinematic experience is at fault for constructing this perspective. No one complains that their guns don't shoot with surgical precision in Deus Ex with 0 points in respective skill, but since character models don't look like clay golems in ME they simply MUST behave like in the latest Call of Modern Battlefield.
am i a retard for naming my shepard 'commander'
GG no re, dear God please gg no re!
>Colonist
>War Hero
>Soldier class
GOAT. don't (you) me
Probably a side effect of your breeding.
>colonist
>sole survivor
>vanguard
dont @ me
I wasn't really referring to the gunplay honestly, more of the clunky controls that weren't as polished as they could have been. The cover mechanics could have been done a bit better, but it was early on in the cover shooter craze.
I actually liked the guns of ME1 just fine and the infinite ammo was neat, especially since it had an in-universe lore explanation why ammo was nearly infinite.
Also, one of my favorite things about ME1 is the retro sci-fi look and feel to the game.
>Colonist
>Ruthless
>Vanguard
the shotgun space racist build
>which ME3 had an ending that left open the entire world for future games
This is an easy fix imo
>ignore endings with shit war prep where earth is destroyed
>control - reaper shepard fucks off to dark space after helping rebuild. Acts as an impartial protector of the galaxy
>synthesis - nothing really changes. Have organics and synthetics still fight, but because they're similar, not because of a person v robot reason
>destroy - easy. If they're lazy they could say this happened, everyone else can get fucked. If shepard lives, have a character say they retired with their love interest, but is a living legend as fanservice
>reject ending - have a little action sequence with some marine/ship captain fighting off reapers until you die, have it as a bonus for people importing saves from the inevitable remaster
The endings are far more similar than you would think. Just say reaper tech was used to rebuild everything. I for one always liked the political intrigue, and would be interest to see the galactic dynamic now that the citadel is next to earth, thus giving humanity even more influence. Perhaps have the player character be a spectre (and can choose from multiple races, only need to record male/female lines) and have them carrying out missions, maybe have them back a certain councillor.
