No, censorship is bad. I don't need censorship to decide what I do and do not get to see in general. Video games are entertainment, I can freely choose which games I pay for and which games I play. I don't need somebody else to decide for me. If somebody makes something I don't like I won't pay for it and I won't play it, I don't need somebody else to decide for me.

The truth is that no company will allow absolutely everything on their platform, but they should at least attempt to leave it to the ratings agencies as much as possible.

For instance the Total War games on PC will almost always release without blood and gore/dismemberment, but it can be activated with a $2 DLC or some shit like that. They avoid getting an increased rating because of the extreme violence that way.
