If his plan was basically to poison the water supply so that it kills anyone with radiation, then why did he need a water purifier?

Because they knew once it was activated that people would flock to it. It's like asking why Microsoft wants everyone to use Windows 10.

Why didn't they just redo the plan to where they throw the toxins into the atmosphere?

Anyone else think that FO3 is just as good as NV?
I think that FO3's world was so much better, and I don't think NV is worse but Yea Forums is such a shitshow with these circlejerk games

eden and autumn had conflicting objectives, autumn wanted the purifier to seize control over the wasteland and get an edge over the brotherhood.

however eden had a secret agenda he didn't tell autumn

Do you also like sucking horse cock?

>throws an insult without giving any further thought
NV is treated like a religion, where no one can question the status quo or have a discussion about opinions

those are both shit games

Bad engine ruined both. I couldn't get into NV because I had been playing FO3 and was tired of its bullshit.

Fallout 3 has shitawful writing compared to NV it's evident in that Eden conversation

yeah, compared to NV the main storyline was bad, with there being no reason to help the bad guys, same could be said about the legion though

Legion actually lets you join while the Enclave says you can but nothing comes of it like it got cut from the game

No. NV had a lot of QOL improvements. If you took the gameplay of NV and put it into 3 then it could be debatable.

But what do they eat?

>If you took the gameplay of NV and put it into 3 then it could be debatable.

Pretty much this. NV plays better, but FO3 has a better world.

It isn't, your criticism is just weak and you come across as a Bethesda apologist who just wants to whine about how people like NV more.

>NV plays better, but FO3 has a better world.

I can't even be arsed to type out 800 words explaining why you are retarded and wrong.

Because the purifier was the way the poison would be distributed. Duh?

The real question is why couldn't we follow through with the plan? After probably 10 hours of sidequesting you realize the wasteland's a fucking shitshow with fucking orc cocks looking to rape human pussy, slaver gangs, regular gangs, rape gangs, bands of little kids on their own, and why WOULDNT you want to let it die and have a clean slate with the only useful faction in the wasteland? Seriously you had no idea how nice it was knowing you did America a favor by dropping the nono juice in Project Purity, but then they turned around in Broken Steel and you CANT side with the Enclave. Big gay.

his motives were complex

Doesn't tale of two wastelands allow this?

the water that comes out of your tap is only water in the casual sense. The water used in labratories goes through multiple passes of reverse-osmosis filtering. Even the water at McDonald's is run through a $20,000 filtration system (which is why their cokes taste like liquid gold). Because water of a lake is not actual water and not consistent even 3 feet away from other water in the same pool, predicting how it will react when combined with other elements is impossible. The only way to do SCIENCE! reliably is with pure, scientific grade H2O.

I don't mean to sound like a B*thesda apologist or whine about people liking NV more, I just think that FO3 is put down even for the things it did right, maybe I need to replay both games again to get a sense of direction though

I wasn't a fan of the DC ruins labyrinth. Even the map, it was just a clusterfuck until you spent 20 hours learning where everything was and how to get from point A to point B. Otherwise, yes, the base game was better. NV DLC was the bomb, though.

YES, I agree! The DC metro area was ass every time I play it. I do love old world blues and the sierra madre DLCs, they felt like an episode in the courier's life and felt like neat adventures
