Personally i've played Aztez and Expeditions Conquistador, which I can vouch for both being really good games, albiet Conquistador does fall for the "dude they were just tribes who built pyramids" thing a bit rather then showing actual cities and complex civuilizaion.

Heard good things about Mualaka, albiet it's less Mesoamerican and more north mexico/southwest US tribe stuff; and Marlow Briggs is a pretty 6 to 7/10 game, as adecently competent but somewhat shallow god of war clone, but it's like 99 cents and it's a fucking steal for that cheap
