Shrinking lets him dodge and avoid attacks basically being nearly unhittable and gives stealth.
While shrunk he can jump on a single enemy and sabotage and damage them with his engineering skills and such.
He can ride a flying ant while shrunk.
Growing makes him tougher and do more damage. His giant legs let him run faster. Being giant is temporary so he should have some brains about using it.
Ants can swarm a person or be an aoe attack that debuffs, damages over time, and stuns weaker enemies.
Antman can pull tiny weights out of his pocket throw them up in the air and make them enormous again to smash areas.
Antman can also touch attack an enemy to shrink them, doing damage, and crowd controlling them or just insta defeating them if they're weak.
Antman is fucking rad, my dude.

I will roll 4 stun characters and just rotate the stuns for easy clearing. A lot of characters have AOE stuns so you can perma stunlock the entire run I bet.

I will experiment with whatever combination has the highest AOE dps then. Games like this, AOE is often the best way to go. There will be a diverse set of enemies where a lot of them have low HP that aoe typically wipes. And the few tanky mobs who survive will get killed pretty fast under concentrated fire. Also makes it easy to beat bosses who keep summoning monsters.
AOE spamming gets the job done in all the other games. Storm is able to lift entire groups in x-men legends and you use that with all the other aoe skills to get a whole room
So, how many characters should the DLC have?
Four is obviously the bare minimum due to Marvel's First Family being in there, but I wonder if they could have more.

How was EMH? I hear good things about it but I never got around to watching it.
It was pretty great, easily one of the best Marvel cartoons put out there and definitely the best Avengers one. Solid writing and characterizations.
It ends up petering off halfway into Season 2, though, since Loeb got his hands on it then. He infamously thought that kids couldn't possibly understand continuity and thus tried to get rid of the long-form story telling the show was doing with overarching story arcs, and other choices like replacing Josh Keaton, the guy who voiced Spider-Man in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon and in MvC3/UMvC3, with Drake Bell at the last second even though Keaton already recorded all of the lines and the episode originally used them. Keaton didn't even find out about this until the episode aired and it wasn't his voice.

Fantastic for the first Season and a half. Then late S2 has some continuity errors and Tony/Cap/Thor/Hulk wank as well as the only bad episode of the series, but then the last few episodes (which were made early in S2's production) are good quality again, even if it feels a bit rushed because the show got cancelled after 2 Seasons despite originally being pitched and picked up for 4. It has a stellar voice cast and great characterization across the board until some of the Loeb shit. Hulk and Pym in particular are the shit. In a better timeline it would've kickstarted Marvel's DCAU equivalent, and honestly the good parts of it are already near that quality.
Batman The Brave and the Bold is still the GOAT capeshit cartoon though.

It had that great team dynamic of Justice League without needing to set it up with other shows, I think that's one of its best strengths. In fact the starting team (Tony, Hulk, Thor, Pym & Janet; Cap comes a bit later) gets intro episodes before the first team-up to quickly set them up.
Trust me, the first team fight in the series is not something you're prepared for. It's that good shit.

Best Marvel cartoon short of Spectacular Spider-Man. Did to Marvel lore what Justice Leage/JLU did to DC lore. Season 2 suffers a bit of having living cancer Jeph Loeb take over as chief of all things Marvel Animation and butting heads with the original showrunners because his dead son didn't love cartoons with ongoing storylines like EMH was so he pressured to team to instead focus on short two-episodes arcs but it was still a great show up until its untimely cancellation and replacement with cancerous MCU synergy shitpile Avengers Assemble (gif related).
Also they had an entire Spider-Man episode recorded with Spectacular VA Josh Keaton but had to throw the recording out and get at-time current Marvel Animation's Ultimate Spider-Man VA Drake Bell to rerecord the lines for SYNERGY! and I'm still fucking livid about it because fuck is Drake Bell by far the worst Spidey VA.
