I started the atelier series somewhat recently and I really like it so far. The characters and their interactions are enjoyable, the alchemy is very interesting in particular trying to figure out how to craft the most effective equipment in the most efficient manner, and the soundtracks are very fitting and pleasant to hear.
I'm interested in trying neptunia since I hear it's quite similar, where should I start? And what other games from other developers should I look into?

Now add to that the best video game soundtrack ever composed, god-tier art direction, a compelling story and an exciting battle system that, even if it gets repetitive later on, always makes you feel amazing when you finish all combos.
