>Simon Belmont is in
>Mega Man is in
There's only one NES guy left...
Simon Belmont is in
Yeah, Uncle Scrooge.
That’s not Bill Rizer from Contra
He's probably in honestly
Strange how we didn't get a KT rep, yet. KT has done much on Nintendo. Ryu was even on the NES Classic.
fuck dante
yeah I said it
I pray every day for him. So many moveset opportunities with all the items across the 3 NES games. And lots of costume opportunities too especially with the 3D ones as a possibility. And the music, my god.
I would like Ryu to be in smash. It'd be cool. Also they should port ninja gaiden black so I can play it cause my xbox is missing
He's an xbox chad now.
Wut? Are we still living in 2004?
Ninja Gaiden hasn't had anything to do with Xbox for more than a decade.
Would love Nero in.
Even as an Assist trophy where he shows up and uses Buster on an enemy.
He hasn't had a good game since Ninja Gaiden 2.
Fuck off console wars fag
I'm pretty sure a KT rep was in the works and got scrapped because Sakurai/Nintendo and KT couldn't come to an agreement
>Fatal Frame's assist trophy would have involved negotiations with KT to obtain
>Nintendo and Sakurai's typical mindset would default to adding Ryu Hayabusa over anything else from the company
>Meanwhile, Koei Tecmo has publicly and staunchly stated that they if they were to get a Smash inclusion, it would be Kasumi from Dead or Alive over anyone else
>While Nintendo has been pretty loose and open to different guest characters in Smash, "Jiggly Physics: The character" sounds like it'd be pushing the limits for them and for what they can get past CERO
>There is an empty spot in the game files where a character was entirely scrubbed out of the base game
Koei Tecmo and Nintendo couldn't come to an agreement over who would fill the Koei Tecmo slot so Sakurai and his team were forced to cut the character
Oh a wiiu fan, I see.
I love my tiddy ninja volleyball games, but come on KT, if that's the case. Ryu so earns that slot.
I mean without the jiggle, Kasumi isn't that lewd
Why would you make all of this up?
I mean yeah you're on the right track, the game has the right director. You just happened to pick the wrong game.
ryu hayabusa just wouldn't work in a fighting game. his character and skills work really well for the open world genre like ninja gaiden. but him in a fighting game like smash just would feel weird.
wtf he's already been in multiple fighting games.
and can we finally drop the "relevancy" and "feels weird" type of arguments already? we have solid snake fighting anime sword guy and a piranha plant that hops around in a pot. it should be clear by now that none of this actually fucking matters.
>wtf he's already been in multiple fighting games
what games? i only have seen him ninja gaiden. and dont tell me that's a "fighting game" because he technically fights. this games are open world/adventure and his move set is strictly for 3d enviroment only. he would be too weird in smash. plus he would take up have the screen and couldnt even fit on most of the levels. all the other characters work because they are nintendo characters so they are small, but playstation character are fucking massive to nintendo universe.
This
ryu hayabusa is a character in the dead or alive games
smash isn't a fighting game so why are you talking about fighting games? also he's been in doa and soul calibur at least, probably others too
>smash isn't a fighting game
>open world genre
>ninja gaiden
he's been in every single Dead or Alive game.
calling smash a fighting game is like calling mirror's edge an fps. technically right but utterly missing the point.
shit i never really thought about that. playstation characters are canonically galaxy huge compared to characters in nintendo games. the nintendo people are like microbes. they could do a big stage is actually just a hair on ryus arm though. that would be cool
