Based Let's Go going +65%

Go back to resetera you Nintendo nigger

YW4 is holding up nicely. Not much new stuff until Fire Emblem either so it's unlikely to fall too quickly.

>[Wii U] Super Mario Maker (Nintendo, 09/10/15) – 138,242
>[3DS] Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (Nintendo, 12/01/16) – 162,180
The upward trend continues

Seething

wow mario maker truly gave a nice boost to switch sales

It'll be interesting to see how well that Marvel game does too. There's been advertising it harder in japan than they have in the west

Let see how much GE3, MUA3 can do before Fire emblem

>2 out of the top 10 games aren't Nintendo Switch
OHNONONO

Jesus fucking christ, Nintendo really does dominate Japan.

I miss Pacman

Media Create: soul
Famitsu: soulless

fire emblem TH is going to sell like shit in japan, worse than awakening and fates

GE3?

super mario maker already outdold YW4 pfhahaha

It won't sell like shit, but it won't sell as well as Awakening or Fates because the Switch doesn't have nearly as large an installbase as the 3DS

pokemon masters effect

>still pushing 50,000 weekly in Japan
Jesus christ.
I hope we see an explosion in soft exclusives soon

Discount waka waka

Are you fucking retarded?

no crash?

Does Microsoft lose money by selling in Japan? Do they have zero marketing in order to make a tiny profit?

God Eater 3

By end of 2012 (when FEA released), 3DS had sold 10 million in JApan
By the end of 2015 (when Fates released), 3DS had sold about 20 million in Japan

Not really
At this point, they probably only pay for storage space for all the Xboxes held in warehouses.
They don't do any marketing, and just let whatever sells sell.
What I really want to see is the Xbox division space in the Japanese Microsoft main office.
Is it just one guy?

Where'd it go so wrong for Yo-kai? Super Mario Maker 2 already has more Japanese sales in its first couple of days than YW4 does in its second week.

They milked that shit way too hard. The franchise is six years old and they're already on gen 4. Pokemon is about to start gen 8 after 23 years.

I’ve heard rumor of MS opening/staffing up an Xbox Asian Division, but that may just be for collecting ports of chink shit like Crossfire X.

And thanks to Sony Switch will get all the weeb games and turn it into the new Vita.

They went full weab on the third game and lost their youth demographic

Beyond the cost of translating the OS and having like two support dudes on call it doesn't really cost them anything.

Hail to the king baby.

What? Xbxox i super popular in japan. Just look at all these games.

That's a pretty fair assortment for a 100k console

>Switch – 59,184 (8,373,426)
Damn. When did it passed 8 million sold?

They should be focused on ripping away Sony's console exclusives. There's no reason that games like Nioh and Yakuza couldn't be on Xbox. I'm not saying to moneyhat them into exclusives, just convince the devs to make an extra port to xbox. There was literally no difference between the two machines this gen and Sony still had a dozen exclusives. Absolutely ridiculous

(Zoom in)

The PS5 will never outsell the Switch in Japan.

Doesn't matter if the Switch beats it in Japan and Xbox Two beats it in North America, it'll always have FIFA-playing Europeans.

But that's nothing to be proud of.

Why did Splatoon, Breath Of The Wild, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade outsold their predecessor despite being on Switch year 1 then?

And Smash was on 3ds, Ultimate sold like 3 times that launch week.

Your reason makes little sense. Like that defense force defending Pokémon Lets Go couple months back.

Stadia is coming to lap up all the dude bros players.

Sony will be stuck in limbo when streaming takes off.

I think it'll sell less, but not because of the install base.

I'm honestly not sure what Sony plans on doing once consoles stop existing in their current form.

i heard shadowside was not well received, they changed the anime again with a reboot and people are sick jibanyan clones too

By the time streaming takes off Sony will have probably already jumped onto that bandwagon. Stadia is too early.

>Minecraft a top seller despite the board unanimously hating on it as an "autism simulator"
>comes to Switch
>now everyone loves it again

Really makes you think.

Where are you seeing this?

I always hated it

The real impressive part is that it's at 800k physical.

Will we ever see a new dedicated portable system?
