First for Team Hare
bros link me some good indie rpgs. i feel like giving some dosh to the little people. Nothing like Lisa or popular indie titles
Should I refund Grim Dawn and just play POE like a peasant?
user looking for hidden horror gems here. So far the only rec I've gotten that I didn't know of beforehand was Tamashii. I'm sorry to keep asking but anyone got any others? I've got Darkwood, Duskers, Lost in Vivo and Charnel House. No interest in Marrow. Also already have older stuff like Lone Survivor and Layers of Fear. I prefer non-jumpscare games.
Hidden gems with a lot of emergent gameplay?
If you're looking for Mech games, here's some lesser known gems you may enjoy that are on sale; most of which have gotten recent updates:
>Hardcore Mecha ($16.99 usd)
A 2D platforms shoot-em-up that has finally recieved a long awaited translation. Sadly however a lot of the sizable cast is behind backer codes which you have to use to unlock new mechs and characters. That are only usable in vs multiplayer.
store.steampowered.com
>Project Nimbus ($14.99)
A stylish high speed anime influenced mecha game with some minor elements of bullet hell. Very fast and frantic, but the lack of customization options is something of a downer. The game originally launched 5 years ago, but the devs still provide updates from time to time.
store.steampowered.com
>Garrison: Archangel ($11.99)
Basically the spiritual successor to Custom Robo with quite a wide selection of customization options and tech to learn. It's an early access game and the online multiplayer is somewhat buggy and empty as a result regrettibly. The offline gameplay takes some getting used to, but it shines in duels once it clicks. The team is apparently working on a story mode. Also free demo (a bit outdated for what's in the game now). Pic related.
store.steampowered.com
>War Tech Fighters ($9.99)
A slightly more simplistic version of Project Nimbus in a way with a bit more focus on melee elements. Customization is sort of lacking here too, but for a grand scale mech warfare game with some great graphics, you could do a lot worse. Devs are still decently active as well with QOL updates.
store.steampowered.com
>Damascus Gear Operation Tokyo & Osaka ($7.49/$13.19)
A diablo-like mecha game with some decent customization to it and a passable story, though I think it may be a mobile port. Combat can be kind of repetitive as well; at it's core it's a pretty simple game despite its customization options. Has a sequel now with some notable improvements if you want to spend a bit more. Pic related.
store.steampowered.com
store.steampowered.com
>Into the Breach ($7.49)
A pretty good turn based strategy game with a mech theme from the team that brought you FTL. If you enjoyed that you'll like this.
store.steampowered.com
>Mecha Ace ($3.89)
A text based adventure, game dev simulator Yea Forums's favorite. A somewhat liniar story with a few branches and a skill system, but your choices have more impact than mass effect at least. If you're a fan of old school text adventures it may be worth a look. It's got a free demo as well and what looks to be a VR focused tie-in in development.
store.steampowered.com
>KO Mech ($0.49)
A simple platformer type game with the gimmick of flinging enemies into one another. Somewhat short, but pretty addictive, also made by someone who shitposts on Yea Forums and for half a buck it's worth selling a few cards and picking up. It'll keep you entertained for at least a few hours so it's a great cost to entertainment ratio at the sale price. Basically no reason not to get. Your character can be hard to see at times and some may find tge controls odd however.

I've never played a FP dungeon crawler RPG and I'd like to try, are there any good ones on sale?
I have 14600 points and i didnt do anything. I need 400 more for the discount. Best way?
>most of my wl is shit that isn't even out yet
i dont want to increase my max points? need points to boost
play a video game
i played xulima for like 15 hours but didnt get any points
Do you have any games that you've unlocked achievements for, if so just play it for 30 minutes and you'll get points.
Play a game in which you have lots of achievements for 30 minutes.
great, this is what i needed, got 70 in torchlight 2 and its only 2 gigs, thanks!
Conan Exiles if you can afford it.
Its a better version of Ark
if you have it, kf2 gave me 50k points
What are some alive multiplayer games that arent LoL or Fortnite?
In and out of steam
Dota 2, CSGO, Rainbow6
>E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy
>Recettear
>Penumbra Collection
>Heat Signature
>FightN'Rage
>Stardew Valley
How'd i do?
Can anyone recommend good ARPGs that are less than $5? Currently, I'm looking at Van Helsing Final Cut, but I've heard that it has performance issues.
Rocket League
Hey, I bought some shit until I got the store discount and now I don't know what to spend it on. Any of these games from my WL worth it:
Freedom Planet
Donut Country
1001 Spikes
Snake Pass
or any other indies on sale
Bump.
Snake Pass is charming and neat and hard as balls.
Donut County is fun but quite short.
Talk me into buying Tales of Zestiria
enjoying world at war alot lately, very active on steam for some reason
Freedom Planet is, ignore the rest.
>realizing you have the exact opposite taste of the average /veeb/ so any advice you get in these threads is basically useless
Being a west-cuck on Yea Forums is suffering
Try us, user. What games are you wondering about?
if it's a shooter I can help ya
1001 spikes is alright, but the last part of the game is IWBTG levels of bullshit after a very solid and well designed 100 levels
Game with the most replayability that doesnt involve high school girl slumber parties or catgirls
You have good taste is all it means
Thank you based mechanon. I'll try to take a look at all these later.
Something tells me you're unnecessarily obsessed with one time someone recommended you an anime game, but alright.
Binding of Isaac
Enter the Gungeon
Probably most rogue-lites really.
The Dark Souls games if you're going to do NG+ and multiple builds/characters/story runs.
Heat Signature and Risk of Rain 2.
CS, TF2, L4D, Killing Floor, Borderlands, Payday, gmod, Insurgency, Rainbow 6, Void Bastards, fighting games like Tekken or DBZ, Souls series, Path of Exile or other Diablo clones, Fallout/Elder Scrolls, GTAs, Resident Evils, Terraria
nvm you white boys aight
Are we talking 'hard because of unintuitive controls', 'hard because it punishes you greatly on death', or something else? From what I've seen, it looks like the controls would make or break my enjoyment of the game. The concept is what drew me in but if the difficulty stems from the snake not going where I expect then I think it'll just piss me off.
I'd heard it was just over 2 hours long, which is always suspicious to me for a steam game. I literally just refunded Snakebird Primer because I beat it in an hour and none of the puzzles felt satisfying. I have a thing about getting some value for indie games and the initial price point of DC seemed wayyy off. I do love katamari though.
S3+K is the only sonic game i actually liked, and I'd heard FP was just a better version of that. This might be the one, then, and I'll shelve it for when I need a good platformer.
That is a little offputting to be honest
I need a fun maybe even a little casual game that can run on my absolute toaster. And by toaster I mean can barely run NWN on lowest settings. not interested in terreria or stardew valley either
Deep rock or Rising storm 2?
My last $20 and im looking for some active multiplayer
How is Void Bastards? I really want it but not for that price. May pirate.
>Snake Pass
Controls.
Before pulling the trigger on your cart, check my pastebin. I have keys for games I've seen a lot of people looking to buy; I've traded with several anons in the past few days, and even though it won't due any good to have any of them vouch on Yea Forums, they've all left comments showing that I'm not a scammer. So if there's something here you want to trade for, let me know.
steamid: steamcommunity.com
legend of grimrock
>and I'd heard FP was just a better version of that
The game's decent and all but let's not get too crazy here
I played it through the $1 game pass shit and it was great but yeah I'm also still on the fence about actually buying it for that price since if you're not a loot autist it's just super repetitive
>go from steam level 10 to 57 overnight
Feels good man
>patting yourself on the back for being a vapid consumer whore
buy fags are fucking disgusting. have an upboat reditard
I just used my tf2 achievements to get 50,000 points to upgrade on the badge
Game pass thing? What
based argie nigger aping out
xbox game pass is on pc now and the first month was/is $1 because it's a beta
The Microsoft Store one I'd assume.
Oh hell. May look into that. Thanks user.
Would you throw me a Blazblue for free?
valve intentionally made leveling easy so you feel attached and invested to your steam profile that you don't want to consider other platforms
you were manipulated dumbass
no its cheap stop being poor
Snek Pass is good.
Snake Pass has really unusual controls. Not bad once you're used to it, but I can't name any other game that controls like it.
Thoughts on Darkest Dungeon? Feels like a game for fans of D&D which iv'e never played but always seemed interesting.
I didn't spend any money to do it lmao.
Does the $5 discount work after the sale?
Fun but rng and unforgiving at times. If you dont mind the above, buy
should I buy SQUAD or sandstorm insurgency?
I just want a team based FPS thats like battlefield before it turned to shit and I don't mind it being realistic
neither are really like battlefield, unless you mean it loosely in which case I'd recommend Insurgency
if you want a straight BF clone then look into World War 3
Sent ya an add. Looking for Duskers.
Squad is full realism, Insurgency slightly less unless you want to play on hardcore
There's a few games where I have a few achievement on but can't be bothered downloading them because my internet is shit. Would opening games in SAM for 30 minutes count for points?
LET ME TELL YOU NIGGERS SOME SHIT
SEE THIS SHIT? IT'S CALLED HEXEN AND YOU SHOULD GET IT FUUCK
Want to be a warrior? fuck yes
Want to be a badass mage? oh fuck yes
Want to be a gay ass cleric? yeah ok
it's like the dark souls of doom games
walking around at the speed of sound cutting and punching enemies to pieces
solving puzzles
jumping and shit
it's cheap as fuck
but user can i play it on my modern $2k PC that i built to play runscape and fortnight?
yes you fucking virgin
get GZDOOM change the .exe to dosbox.exe and fucking play it
don't forget to go into the options and enable vert aiming
now suck my dick and buy it
>Not bad once you're used to it
alright, I'll grab it but I'll dedicate myself to it and see if it pisses me off enough to refund it
as a lover of turnbased rpgs and roguelikes it delivered on that and even more so on atmosphere. the rng was a huge barrier for me though and I stopped playing it without putting a great deal of time into it.
>At the end of the Grand Prix on July 7, 2019 @ 10 am PDT, the Pit Stop will be open to everyone and you'll be able to spend any leftover tokens you've earned through your purchases on Steam, without having to participate in the actual Grand Prix.
No idea how long that lasts for though
Can I shill Blood Bowl 2 and the Yea Forums league a bit more?
RS2 is very active and fun but far more action-heavy than RO2.
Expect to be on the 50+ kills a round level easily.
MAS-49 is godmode as is the MP40. M16A1 is OP.
So were there people who got shitloads of games basically for free by exploiting this shit early on?
But user, don't you see? The real BlazBlue was the friends we made along the way.
Ys Oath in Felghana and Ys Origin are both really good. Origin is probably in my top 10
Ignoring price for a moment - which game is better in terms of gameplay - Mary Skelter or Labirynth of Refrain?
And is Refrain standard "kill god" story? I wish to avoid that.
what a shit luck
>buy sunset overdrive
refund because of some weird stutter and shit. i get 60fps on witcher on high/medium wtf
>buy edf 4.1
launch it and there is a white screen, try to fix for an hour before i refund.
FUCK
I've played both of them. They are really great especially at higher difficulties.
Great atmosphere and a good fighting in itself, but I have to agree with and. You can have an absolutely stacked team with all the best items but if you have shit RNG the bosses in the darkest dungeon will fuck you
Which JRPG should I buy? I'm thinking about getting FFX because of the improvements over the previous HD remasters.
there is a max point limit that is based on your previous purchases since last sale and the stuff you bought from current sale
there is no such thing as "free shit" you are just getting a fraction of the money you spent on steam since lunar sale back as 5 dollar coupons or steam badge levels
only retards think "wow I spent $150 before and I got $5 coupon off what a huge steal I'm ripping steam off"
Could tell you some, but you posted that faggot facebook humor pic, so fuck off.
I've been buying VR games.
Fuck Beat Saber for not going on sale.
If you like the battle system go for FF 12 Zodiac age instead. It has alot of improvements and it has some of the most challenging bosses of the whole series.
VR market doesn't have enough competition to go on big sales
what a rip off
why rimworld never on sale?
Which do I buy first? I like base building, RPGs, and shooters.
-Pathfinder: Kingmaker
-Factorio
-RimWorld
-Kenshi
-Doom
-Darkest Dungeon
Also looking for any recommendations.
Cheers, will probably buy but that rng aspect seems like it will drive me crazy
Already have that. Not a big fan of the battle system, but I do love Ivalice.
What do? Would buy BG on GoG, but I like getting achievements too much.
Give me some recs guys, please
You're not wrong.
Regardless of the sale percentage, I've been paying 15 USD on average per game.
Doom and Factorio
As much as I love it, don't get Friday.
>Kingdom Cum is -40%
damn, I'm actually tempted
I pirated the day 0 version and got fucked out of fun because of many bugs, but if I have various updates here it could be fun, right?
Crash 1 and 2 are still loads of fun even nowadays. I felt like the third one didn't age that well with its many gimmick stages that control like ass, though.
My pleasure! Hope you find something you'll enjoy
get planescape as well. if you like the dnd games you will like the planescape one
Friday the 13th sucks
Why?
That adds points to Crash, thank you
>Sekiro
great gameplay but not alot of replayability. Would still recommend
>Crash Bandicoot
Can't recommend. The improved graphics are nice but they don't really translate well into the gameplay. The jumping sometimes feels weird as fuck which makes it frustrating.
>Kenshi
100% buy
>Friday the 13th
great game but mostly dead
>The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
walking simulator
>State of Decay
didnt play because I cant see zombie shit anymore
>Project Zomboid
same as above
>RE7
was okay I guess. Watch a bit of gameplay and decide on your own. Quite short
slay the spire
4$ for vanishing seems more than worth it, enjoyed the playthrough of it and would recommend it if you like these kind of games (its like story driven walking with puzzles)
Could mention that Project Nimbus just got ported to UE4 with some new content.
Just turn off the lens flare.
>Why?
Horrible balance and mostly dead.
waht are some roguelikes to get me into the genre
likes or lite?
>every team other than team Hare is seething right now
If you're into turn based strategy and want to try something new, the Yea Forums Blood Bowl 2 league is starting a new season next week, and we have a rookie division for any new players joining. The game is $5 right now, so if you get it and don't want it sleeping in your backlog, feel free to join us
virginleague.neocities.org/
either or really
Devil Daggers
Didn't play Sekiro
Crash has latency issues with the updated graphics, you'd be better off just emulating the old versions with a graphic pack if you want to play it.
Kenshi is great but also very grindy and requires patience. I'd play the demo first to see if you like it.
Friday the 13th is dead
Didn't play Ethan Carter
State of Decay is pretty bad honestly. It feels clunky and unpolished and it's padded out by having a lot of repetition when it comes to collecting stuff. Also zombie AI is pretty bad. If you get it though, there is a funny bug where cars don't take damage if you're driving backwards, so you can pretty much plow through hoards of zombies with no downside if you kick it in full reverse.
Zomboid is kinda meh, it's a fun roguelike with building elements but was pretty barebones when I played it a long time ago, maybe it's different now.
I didn't particularly like RE7, it felt like it was made to be played in VR and was really short.
Hope this helps fren
I have this on the N64.
Please respond. Refrain is tempting but price is bullshit.
crypt of the necrodancer, binding of isacc rebirth, slay the spire, death road to canada, ADOM, caves of qud
only have around 25 usd, help me pick a game I cant decide for myself
Im hesitating between :
Dead Cells
Lobotomy Corp
Civ VI (there is this huge 75% sale with many DLCs in it for less than 25, and the onl thing that stopped me from trying management games is the price and the DLCs really)
Maybe even Katana Zero but Ive heard the game is way too short
Check out eXceed 2 if you like shmups. It's like a budget ikaruga (it has the same color switching mechanic), but costs next to nothing and has great music. 3 is also good, but it's a more standard danmaku.
youtube.com
I like those types of games, something else you like to recommend? I'm getting Vanishing
Thanks for redpill on Friday
Could you tell me more about Kenshi, please?
I'm looking for something online to stick hours
Is Kenshi unpopular enough?
If not, maybe Thea. It's more of a TBS/RPG/CCG, but I've never seen anyone on Yea Forums mention it, so I think it fulfils the "little" requirement.
Please buy six copies of Mount and Blade so that Bannerlord comes out faster
Thank u!
hey if you buy them for me they will come out even quicker
What kind of games do you like?
>Tfw gifted my brother oblivion, it blew my mind when i was a teenager and played it and wanted to have him experience it
>T-thanks
>5 minutes played
$10 down the drain, take that as a lesson people, don't be altruistic.
I've run Shadowrun: Dragonfall on a Thinkpad X200s, so that's one option.
>infringing upon others because you played a game that you can't take the nostalgia goggles off for
I wouldn't play a game from 2004 either.
Gifts are for the one receiving them, not for the one giving them. If your brother gifted you a 100 hour compilation of horse gay porn, would you watch it just because it was a gift?
Thats not being altruistic.
>gifting shit without asking about preferences
>not sharing your library with your brother
more like don't be retarded
Zoomy zoom zoom away little zoomer.
family share your library with him, he's your brother
>If your brother gifted you a 100 hour compilation of horse gay porn, would you watch it just because it was a gift?
no haha totally not haha (haha)
Just watch Sseth's video about kenshi. I think it summarizes pretty much everything that has to be said about kenshi.
how is lost planet 1? any FUN while waiting for Halo reach on pc?
It's your own fault for misjudging what kind of gift he would have enjoyed. He's your brother, you should know him better.
I've got a gift for Risk of Rain 2. I'll give it for Synth Riders, Bloody Spell or some other decent offer.
Reply with ID if you're interested. No freebies. You will go first.
I expect him to take advice from his brother with impeccable taste desu.
If they're mlp style horses I'd watch it and fap to it
Reachbro, do you think it will come out before September?
Also, No
>Could you tell me more about Kenshi, please?
Not that guy but basically you start as a literal nobody with shit stats in a world that doesn't care about you and will kick your teeth in if you're not careful. Eventually you build a band of freaks that follow you around so you don't die, and as you fight shit and level up you become stronger and stronger. So you'll be strong enough to kill even the best shit in the game and you can go around enacting revenge and fighting late-game bosses. You can also build bases (which will constantly be under siege because fuck you) and form your own faction.
There are some cheesy tactics in the game like stealth and powerleveling your stats by doing shit like making max capacity dudes follow your workers around, but honestly it's not that bad since everything else is so bullshit anyway.
>facebook humor pic
dude, this is literally a reference to Yea Forums
A big part of the challenge in Darkest Dungeon is dealing emotionally with the shit the game flings at you. You can't avoid the losses, so you need to cope with them.
should i refund this shit? game's blurry as fuck at """""""1080p"""""""
Just to give you another view on Zomboid. It has come along quite a bit over the years. The dev team is small but very dedicated and actively took on members from the community. Modding community is great. It's a comfy survival game that punishes you when you get too comfortable. Since the vehicles were put in the game travel has gotten a lot easier. I'm someone who generally does not like survival games but I have clocked over 500 hours in it and have barely scratched the surface in terms of mods.
Yes
How to earn points at the event? Is it just unlocking new achievements or doing those stupid "quests"?
I cant stand Civ 6. I preferred 5
>You will go first.
Suck my dick, faggot
No one trade with this scammer
Yes, you got tricked
Nier a tomato sucks too, don't bother
Yes
damn. yeah im pretty optimistic it will come out before or during september.
got any good fps/tps games to recommend? already got vanquish and have played through all max payne games
State of Decay is really boring and repetitive. After two hours you've seen all the content the game has and just have to do it over and over again.
How is my cart?
Should I buy Slay the Spire, or just get the $1 Xbox Pass for it?
i haven't been able to purchase anything the last 2 days. Keeps telling me this. help?
Any sandbox games with open, dynamic world that 'lives' regardless of the player interactions? Like in Mount & Blade, Sid Meier Pirates, Stalker (to some extent)?
I've never scammed anyone, although I have been scammed myself. That's why I haven't gone first again since like 2013.
I dunno, user maybe you should try contacting support for assistance.
Is this any good?
It's pretty edgy and bizarre. It's also old and it shows. It depends if you like aforementioned edgy and bizarre stuff happening.
Neither. You just need to play a game for thirty minutes to cash in every achievement you've ever gotten in it. No need to earn new ones.
Problem is, the earned points don't actually matter. The maximum points do, and the primary way to get more of those is buying games.
You also get 100 every day, and a one-time bonus of a couple hundred for doing the "qualifier tasks", but if you want that sweet $5 discount, you'll need to spend money first.
>You also get 100 every day
You get 100 "every day" IF you speed up your team at least once on the previous day.
If you had scammed someone, would you admit it?
Heat Signature.
a waste of your time
Only one I want was MHW, kinda feel disappointed that I joined so late. I have no idea why people do so much damage even in the beginning levels, like I would start a quest and someone just comes in and 1 hits the monster.
Kenshi, the X games, Original Sin 2
Elona+ if you like weeb stuff
when you use the $5 coupon it display an event themed banner at the top of steam saying you're about to get a rebate, so I'm not sure it will last after the race. But don't know really
ARRR!!!! Tell me what you pirated off that list, ya nasty landlubbers!
PLEASE help me i had a game in my cart then lost it but i really want it, it's a visual novel where you have an anime robot girl as your girlfriend, think it cost $5.
The only games I bother to pirate are Xcom and Civ until they release GOTY.
Rain World, it's 2d but very organic nonetheless.
Yes, I would admit it, because I'd feel scummy. But I'd also never intentionally scam someone else, because the feeling of betrayal always stuck with me.
I accidentally ripped someone off with a humble bundle key trade one time. I got flustered and apologized profusely, as I had already activated theif key when they informed me how the one O gave didn't work. In turn I gave them several free full bundle keys and they gave me a +rep.
All of my profile +reps are genuine, believe it or not. Nearly 20 pages. I've never traded +reps.
kanker
Not steam but Dwarf Fortress is the undisputed king of that genre
AHOOOOY!! DAILY REMINDER TO NOT GIVE FILTHY VALVE KIKES YOUR MONEY!
THAKYOU
What X games?
What's something I can play with my wife and her son?
how old is the meme son
Betrayer
Bros, how long does the £5 discount last? Does it auto-expire at the end of the sale? I assume it does but it doesn't really say anywhere.
send :)
Anyone here has humble bundle keys up for exchange?
>Pay over 100 bucks for a game with all dlc
>Getting everything the game has to offer with all dlc for free
The pirates are better.
Come back Friday, and I should have some.
I got a bunch but I don't think you have what I'd be looking for, since I don't need anything currently in a bundle, only stuff I missed from years ago
Teaches you to not get attached to characters
It's about risk and reward
Any opinions on these? Especially Unavowed, never seen Yea Forums talk about it
good
don't know
la creatura is fine
don't know
kino
good
kino
Subnautica good
Kingdom come good
undrail is good but be careful with your build. some are not viable end game. That is one of its biggest flaws
I have a thinkpad t420
will that work? I actually have shadowrun in my backlog
Any deals that are just too good to pass up on? Even if its in the 20-30$ range? I mostly only play RPGs if that helps
Space Engine is superb for taking screenshots to use as wallpaper
Your PC becomes a personal space telescope in that the longer you leave your monitor focused on one planet's surface the more details load over time
only 2 games i played are subnautica and darkwood, can recommend both
Like?
Okay, around what time? Also what kind on trades you interested in?
Also have fun. Great little gem.
/m/ is the most based board. Thanks for the list!
Any good racing game recommendations?
Is Two Point Hospital a good sim?
Wreckfest
This user is legit.
Yes, very good.
It's not really a 'sim', more like a comedy management game but it's very good. Gets little boring after ~20 hours since you copypaste same rooms over and over again. It's almost direct copy of theme hospital with qol changes.
If you want sim Project Hospital is closer to what real hospital is like. But it's still lacking in features.
Don't.
>need max points
>not enough money to spend
>no starbound for soda
what do bros, i wan just 2 games but i can only get both if i manage to get the 5 bucks discount
I can't claim points for some reason, It just says "You've hit your maximum for today" and has just been saying that for the past like four days. Anyone else know what's going on?
did you increase your max points?
you can only claim points if you have enough max points
Does the $5 coupon expire after the sale or can you keep it forever? I just want to dump those tokens into my badge if I can't keep it.
Neat, anything else?
Well off the top of my head, I'd really like to get Gang Beasts and it was only in a bundle a few years back a few times, and I have stuff like Hellblade, Moonlighter, etc
Is the only way to increase max points is by buying shit?
damn, what do you want for Hellblade? Been looking for it for so long
But I like Edna's design and it has Kayano Ai, and a super good soundtrack.
It can't be THAT bad, can it?
yup
Buying shit or doing the one-time checklist which gives you 2k points I think.
Kenshi isn't actually alive, unless the player is around to watch. The world is static until you destabilize it. Still, it does at least pretend that the player isn't important, so you might want to check it out.
Rain World has a dynamic, simulated world, but since it's a 2D platformer, the simulation isn't very complex. Most enemies are just predatory animals that want to eat you, and though they certainly act the role of predatory animals very well, they aren't really in a position to enact any lasting change on the world.
Dwarf Fortress is the undisputed king of the genre, and unlike what said, it's actually coming on Steam:
store.steampowered.com
You should note the release date, though. The current roadmap is to finish the update Toady's currently working on, which could take anything from a few months to over a year, and then do some UI improvements, again with no strict timeline, before the Steam release. You can play it right now if you can stomach the current graphics, though.
Buying shit, or earn points from quests(only quests, not the achievements).
If you have starbound, the soda hack still works and wont be patched due to the modding nature of the game
if u want sim and own a wheel asetto corsa
for rally get dirt rally
for more arcadey racing and if you dont mind graphics pirate nfs games (anything up to most wanted 2005 is goo) or outrun 2006 coast 2 coast (best arcade pick up and play, especially if you like ferrari)
Hell yeah
I find Grim Dawn to actually be even uglier than PoE
Thanks. I'll probably get back to playing dorf fort again then. I'm not that much into platformers and I've already tried Kenshi. Can't wait for the DF steam release.
Gang Beasts is something I'd trade it for, or other stuff I'd trade it for is CLANNAD, Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet, Tekken 7, .hack GU Last Recode, stuff like that that I missed in somewhat recent bundles
Yeah, definitely. Just looking at the specs, it's quite a bit more powerful.
How bad does Kenshi crash? My processors a little old and I don't wanna get it if it's a crashfest
sent ;)
>or earn points from quests
It doesn't work though.
I played a ton of Deep Rock Galactic and Starbound and they are both still at 0.
Well at $12.50 you could do worse. It's OK honestly but not much more or less than that.
How is Van Helsing: Final Cut?
> play warhammer 2
> 28k points
so i need 2 more games for the 2 tokens
already bought:
> pathfinder kingmaker
> stardew valley
> tales of vesperia
any recommendations?
It's 3 games that don't know whether they are ARPGs or Tower Defense games, smashed together and given shitty enemy scaling.
Get Grim Dawn instead.
Keeping it cheap this year fellas
works for me
i did the soda hack multiple times
and currently gaining small points with CSGO matchmaking
get titan quest instead
yomawari?
Get Torchlight instead
forgot pic
do you have warhammer 2?
> release hostages
> 3k x 10points
just launch a game that you have cleared a ton of achievements on and let it sit for 30 minutes. you should tons of points. you cant increase your max points without paying
only pic related
Looking for some action/rpg games something like witcher/dargon dogma any recomendations ?
This whole event has been fucked for me.
Can't even claim my 100 free points today.
Also have it. Another great suggestion though.
What the fuck is the point of this shit? I can get all of the games in sale for less on cdkeys or g2a.
I can buy a hamburger from the hobo behind burger king for cheaper than going into burger king, but I wouldn't do it for obvious reasons.
that does not increase the max points, just regular points, but to claim said points you need to increase the max points.
pic related, i have 9421 points from this game's achievements, but can't claim them cause max points are at 100
I just bought Battle Brothers, it may be what you're looking for.
? I just bought over $100 worth of games from keys websites and haven't encountered a single issue.
Why bother buying games if it's not to actually pay who made them? Just pirate
That's fine, why are you here again?
I'll definitely play most of them this year though, I'm not that kind of retards that buy game only to not play them.
>I'm not that kind of retards
have fun i guess
Thanks, about to play some ni no kuni 2 right now.
Infinity engine games
haha bro green is Yea Forums we are secret club
none
why didnt you just get free games
My cart right now. My question is, are the Darkest Dungeon expansions worth it? And possibly another, what the fuck is the 'consumable content' making Shieldbreaker expansion ineligible for a refund? Seems ikey.
Would recommend to play trough, its cheesy but fun
>Unavowed
I can only speak for their previous games, which were amazing
Kairo was kinda wasted opportunity, would rather spend money on Naissance or Fibrillation HD
DD is extremely overrated imo. But I despise games that depend on pure luck over skill. "Minimizing RNG" is arguably a skill, but quick thinking and reflexes are objectively dozens of times more skillful and is actually fun as well.
i should shill my shitty game here so people buy it, worked for ubermosh and ko mech
>check wishlist
>biggest sale is -40%
>check key resellers
>sale is now -60%
hihihihihiiiihihii
do it but also give out steam keys for your game at the same time like every Yea Forums dev does
Does anyone have any experience with this title?
what is the name for your shitty game
Well I'm not really rating the game, I already played it some because pirate, just wanted to know about the expansions.
>points never went up by 100 today
FUCK
stupid bullshit event
You can increase the resolution
Did someone actually win a game from top of wishlist?
people have posted their emails about them receiving a prize
#MeToo
Guyze, I've been 15 years on Steam and I've got 2K+ games on my library. Still, the only game I'd want to buy is Koikatsu, and it's not even on sale...
Recommend me something. Lately I've been enjoying The Messenger. Previousto that, Sekiro and Two Point Hospital. So... hit me up.
Is Monster Hunter World a good entry point for someone who has never played a game in the series before?
You may as well just fucking pirate. Buying from Russian resellers is like paying someone to shoplift for you.
emulate mhfu
Yeah, although if you try to play the older games after World you'll feel like they control like dog turds.
not if you plan to go back and play the older games. World is so different from any of the others
Is there a limit to how many times you can get a refund? I'm currently awaiting my fifth refund since the sale began
What section of Steam Support would I put this shit in? I'm not losing 100 points, even if it won't get me a discount.
Celeste, yay or nay?
Wrong image, oops
It is, ignore the purists that hate it because it changed some stuff. It's still amazing.
what are some games with big horn girls?
big yay
Dig through the worthless support pages until you find the one that lets you submit a ticket. Not that it's even remotely worth doing because even if you manage to get an answer it's always unrelated copy/paste or telling you there is no problem.
Get fightans.
GG XRD Rev 2, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Skullgirls, KoF XIII and XIV, Tekken 7, Street Fighter IV and V.
All of the above are dirt cheap right now.
Is We. The Revolution any good?
Can't go wrong if you like challenging platformers.
Ignore this fag. It's super meat boy for SJWs
I just put it in some random stupid fucking place
I want my fucking shekels
It'll cost me thirty fucking bucks to get a £5 discount and I'm taking every little bit of tokens I can get to maximise my income
Alright, I won't get Van Helsing, but I only have $5, so out of Titan Quest and Torchlight which one has more variety and is more challenging?
Gamergate was like ten years ago move the fuck on
Torchlight>Chronicon>Titan>>>>Van in terms of quality
Content, too, except switch chronicon and titan
I need a co-op game recommendation to play with a girl who doesn't like video games. Something simple, fun, but also something that is an actual game and not some flash game tier shit. By simple I mean straightforward gameplay. Left 4 Dead is a good example.
Assuming you mean Torchlight II (the one on sale), Torchlight.
Overcooked is really good, even for non-gamers.
Orcs Must Die 2 or Castle Crashers maybe.
Any of you fags ever play River City Ransom Underground? How is it?
I have 7k points, can I make 15k before it's over?
Not without spending money.
Streets of Rogue. Classes tend to be pretty specialized so you can go guns blazing while she fucks with people as the hacker (who sucks at fighting). Has some good options for less robust people like the slave trader (1 hit stuns anyone, right click to turn them into slaves with bombs attached) ,cannibal (eats corpses for hp, so she can just follow you to heal up, then use that hp to revive you if you die) or shopkeeper (starts with a gun and has no issues keeping it stocked, trivializing much of the game as guns trump melee and you aim trumps ai)
Pretty bad. Disappoiningly so. They made more characters than they knew how to and it shows. All but like 2 of them (the skater chick, the boxer) suck ass in comparison because their normal attacks are faster and hit more times for the same damage per hit as anyone else. It takes ages to unlock new moves and even with them no one really compares to one of them straight mashing attack.
I just spent money yesterday but nothing noticable happened.
What's a game that let's you have sex and see big boobs?
Was disappointed in Streets of rogue and how little classes it has. I thought it would have at least 3 time as much.
my brother hates open games and immediately bounces off them. i dont even bother.
All of the expansions are worth it. But Crimson Court is NOT for first timers, because it will introduce shit that will really fuck you up if you don't know what you're doing. Luckily, you decide whether to enable DLC before you start up a playthrough. So get it, but save it for after you know what you're doing a bit in the game.
I think it has plenty, but not enough with powers. Especially now it gives +stat ups every third level guaranteed. Those without abilities end up all feeling the same.
Super classes were added at some point but I haven't cared enough to unlock them since its too easy to forget about the goal actually having fun and you do that once then bam fucked need to start over.
Tinder
thanks user, will do
Not if you live in a small village in Slovenia.
Got both Bloodstained's yet?
dont buy dlc > the cost of the game you buying when you havent even played the fucking game yet
Guise what's the point of winning races? Why should I care if my team finishes first, since the free game rewards get distributed between first 3 teams. Do grand prix points that teams earn even mean anything besides an ego boost?
mod skyrim or the sims 4
or download the illusion games (koikatsu and VR kanojo are on steam but they're not the best)
Any decent games like the X series?
It's literally the best starting point for the series, yes.
Koikatsu Party. Funbag Fantasy. Melty's Quest. Nekopara vol 1-3 with the lewd patches. You're welcome.
Guys, which game from Tales Of series I should start with?
I have the same question.
Thinking of symphonia
Depends. Symphonia or Vesperia are the more classic ones, but Berseria is the more modern accessible one.
Vesperia ideally.
If you were to pick 2, what would you do?
I haven't played Monster Hunter since MH1 and 2 on the PS2, so I was interested in possibly getting back into it before Iceborne.
I like Persona and I've heard good things about Tokyo Xanadu being a Tails+Persona light.
I played Symphonia and Berseria, but not Vesperia. Original Sin 2 looks cool since I like DnD. Dragon's Dogma has always piqued my interest, but it is pretty frequently on sale.
I like DB, I like fighting games. But I'm still playing MK11 currently. How's the PC population for DBFZ?
I recommend both Monster Hunter and Dragon's Dogma very highly.
Sex
>I haven't played Monster Hunter since MH1 and 2 on the PS2, so I was interested in possibly getting back into it before Iceborne.
What you played is basically crap by today's standards. MHW is very different, so it may be a bit shocking. You could play 3U, 4U or Gen before it if you want something closer to what you played, but World is a treat and you'll have a lot of fun. Definitely get that.
He's not wrong
Destiny, but thats not on Steam. So go with Symphonia, and then transition to Vesperia and Berseria.
MHW and either DBZ or Vesperia.
anyone got some more shootan to recommend?
>use $5 discount
>refund game
>don't get $5 discount back
Is anyone here familiar with the Toukiden games? Worth a playthrough by myself if I don't have anyone to coop with?
Monster Hunter World is amazing. It controls like a dream compared to the previous games and is just a ton of fun overall.
can someone recommend me a game/some games
i have 20 buckos on my account right now and would like to play something like mgs
Devil Daggers
Monster Hunter, and Divinity. Dogma is pretty cheap too so I'd pick those three up. Only 3 I'd recommend.
>Fighter Z
Pass, tag fighters are shit, everyone just plays goku
Vesperia:
Pass unless you want to be glued to a guide the entire time for its 15 million missables
DD:
Get this one. Its got missables but they don't matter, fun combat, good amount of content, good pacing. Its only issue is being piss easy.
MHW:
Ain't played this
Divinity:
Don't buy this and another game at the same time, its a timesink.
Xanadu:
Dunno what this weebshit is
Like MGS in terms of gameplay or weird storytelling?
Hexen, it is kinda like doom with classes. also idk if the steam version works. if not just pirate with gz doom
dusk + amid evil bundle is cheaper
Both would be fine
I've only played Toukiden 2, and I'd rather recommend God Eater. It's not offensively bad, but too formulaic, easy, and focused on meter attacks.
Anyone eLse lost all of the levels and badges?
Any games like The Forest that can be played with friends?
I bought myself Deep Rock Galactic, Dark Messiah and the expansion for Grim Dawn that adds two classes. Since all I've been playing is Grim Dawn, how did I do?
same
yes. steam is shitting the bed and valve keeps shoveling laxatives
First place gets top three games on their wishlist free, second gets top two, third gets only top one.
yeah
Dark Messiah is what Skyrim wishes it could have been
see you fucking niggerfaggot
Van helsing final cut
Street fighter 5. Free to play until end of sale. Worth a try. Will you be another salty faggot or get gud?
Snake pass is kino and dark souls of platformers without ability to jump
Dont.
Talos principle, original war, dirt rally
Its kino
No.
Insurgency is better. But its all realistic. You can run and gun in this game. The whole gameplay is basically campers everywhere.
Yes
Get mary skelter and stop resisting!
There are already chevos on GOG
Everspace
Serious sam
Its rat race + viral marketing. And it works, just look at massive amoubt of threads about it here or on leddit
You get capacity, you still need to exchange cheevos for points and boost to convert it to tokens.
Castle crashers, portal 2
Theoretically no but keep that shit up and your account may get flagged as problematic.
Games that are like Fallout 76 but not as shitty? I guess online games where you can loot, build and create things together.
They're only superficially similar
How would you explain Monster Hunter to someone who hasn't played the series before?
That's great, I enjoy Skyrim as is heavily modded so I'm sure I'll enjoy Dark Messiah. Is there anything concerning the game that I should avoid while playing it?
Metal Gear Survive
It's a fun action game about hunting monsters with your friends
Are there any good mecha games on sale? The only mech games I've ever played are Armored Core and Zone of the Enders, but I want more.
Are there any fightan games with enjoyable single player? I loved Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast, also Tech Romancer unlocking all the routes in the story.
He said not shitty.
There's really not much to worry about. It's an old game built on the source engine. The combat in the game feels great though, and be prepared to kick dudes in the sternum a lot. Magic pairs well with melee. It's not open world, it's level based, but there's still plenty of exploration.
Boss Fights Only: The Videogame.
In some ways it's not nearly as wacky, in some ways it is, but HITMAN (2016) and the sequel are really good. It's different, but it has a lot of immersive sim elements that let you tackle things creatively.Strangely enough I actually care about the story in it.
Deus Ex: HR comes to mind as well. It's almost a cyberpunk version of MGS, with more immersive sim elements.
MAYBE Dishonored 2?
the hardest difficulty, every enemy becomes a (too) massive sponge. And just FYI, the different classes aren't really balanced/the skill trees are fucked. The game heavily favours the strength/warrior/whatever you call it path, to play the others properly you need to give yourself exp points with the console. And mana regen for the mage.
But do a playthrough without any of that stuff first to see for yourself. It's still great fun.
Dark Messiah is literally what Underworld Ascension wishes it could be.
No levels, the game is you with the weapons and armor you craft, plus the items you craft, going into a map and searching for a big ass monster to kill it and craft more weapons, armor and items. Scratches that itch you get for games with feedback loops and systems, without being any complicated, but at the core it has amazing gameplay that managed to be popular even on the clunky ass engine they used for like 20 years.
While Tales games have similarities and callbacks, they're self-contained games except for a couple of games. On PC it's Berseria and Zestiria, with Berseria being a prequel story of what happened 1000 years ago.
Haven't played Symphonia but what I can say is you better start with an older game, otherwise lack of quality of life from Berseria (the latest game) may annoy you A LOT. I'm playing Vesperia currently (and played Berseria before) and I'm also not a fan of the "2D" combat of the older games.
Given the choice I would've started with Vesperia since Symphonia looks dated to me.
>Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
>Metal Gear Solid V Definitive
Which one should I buy? I think I would enjoy the melee centric combat of Revengeance more but MGSV is the premium flagship game.
Got all of these.
Do you like slashers? Get Revengeance.
MGS5 was boring as fuck.
See and
MGR. 5 was just a disappointment all around, MGR was a definitive action game.
i bought age of decadence and hard west last night. should be decent games and the cost to quality ratios are great.
Both games couldn't be more different. MGR is almost a fanfic and takes place years after the last game in the main series, which was already futuristic and weird. MGSV is part of the prequels, so it's not futuristic at all.
MGR's story is campy and fun, but very short. MGSV's story is unfinished and weird, but your enjoyment depends a lot on how familiar you are with the series.
Gameplaywise, they are both amazing, and it depends on if you prefer a straightforward character action game, or a freeroam open ended stealth TPS, with tens of hours of content and base building.
what are the refunds
he said not as shitty
Is Super Cyborg any good? The wait for Blazing Chrome is killing me.
Speaking of MGSV, is there a mod that makes stealth harder? I played GZ and while I absolutely loved it, it was lame that you could hold an entire base hostage by yourself and roam back and forth at your leisure as if it was deserted.
Gay World which I only bought to meme a friend and AMID EVIL which I'll buy some other time when it's cheaper.
Kinda running out on good games to play to be honest but I'm playing Underrail right now and it's great.
>it was lame that you could hold an entire base hostage by yourself and roam back and forth at your leisure as if it was deserted.
Then just don't? Why do you play the game in such way if it makes the game not fun? Infinite guards wouldn't make any sense in isolated camps.
Alright thanks.
>be prepared to kick enemies a lot
Fuck it's gonna be like Dying Light all over again, just dropkicking everything. I'm excited!
MGS V isn't bad (I actually bought it this sale and playing it right now, pretty gud), but MGR:R is a much more entertaining game. Buy Revengaence
The ragdoll physics are pretty great. You'll notice plenty of environmental hazards around.
opinions on these?
Which Hitman 2 version should I get? What's the difference between them?
I like to be challenged, not go out of my way to make things hard for myself in order to get some challenge out of it.
>Infinite guards
What's that got to do with anything? All they have to do is make it so people who you order to lie down actually get up and radio for help when you get far from them.
If you feel like you might play other Tales Of games, it's probably a good idea to start with Symphonia or Vesperia.
If not, just play Berseria.
Looking for advice on this before anything is said i have assassin's creed syndicate on there because i was doing a assassin's creed playthrough in order and syndicate is the only one i am missing in the series, hunt showdown is releasing next month and is getting a price increase so i should strike now i am debating taking off gathering storm because that price may not be worth it i will not have any money to buy anything else until later in the year
I feel like playing Civ without having all expansions is simply not worth it.
If you like Civ and play it a lot, it's probably worth getting GS.
Are there any challenging action games under $5? All perspectives are welcome (first person, third person, etc.)
Another reminder to buy Lobotomy Corporation.
Dark Souls: Boss Rush
Not enough off. 50% minimum.
skautfold trilogy are all fun and challenging
each plays differently, but they have a running story throughout with the same general themes/atmosphere
first is a twin stick soulslike hybrid, second is closer to isometric bloodborne with melee and dodging, and the third is a 2D metroidvania
the bundle is dirt cheap and it'll keep you busy for a while, pretty fun games. you can choose to play them in RPG mode with leveling and builds, or go for pure mode for an arcadey experience.
Took the Sleeping Dogs mass discount despite having the original on steam, thought all the DLC would make it maybe worth playing again.
Now here's my real conundrum... buy something on Steam or get Mario Maker 2?
You should pay full price for it.
I already bought Deus Ex 3 but i'm gonna try Hitman.
Thx user
I just bought this game 15 minutes ago but I have to shill for it already, sitting in town, listening to this ultra comfy music... fugg let's goooo
any good games on sale while you afk on runescape? already have terraria
what is it? I see threads on it all the time but never seen gameplay
wrong screenshot eh
Do you have a shitty PC, like myself, or you simply enjoy those type of games?
Oy vey, and I should also buy the next AAA lootbox shit game at full price too, right?
Tell me my sisters and brothers, how doth one pirate steam games? I'm only a level 6 pirate
Can anyone vouch for Shantae Pirates's Curse and Half Genie Hero?
only know lobotomy out of that list
got it myself after it being recommended here and its a nice game, especially if you like the whole SCP thing
Lobotomy Coropration, 2D management game where you try to get energy out of monsters with all kinds of fucked up things
House-In-the-Woods-meets-cabbalistic-occultism management simulator in a dystopian future, with an excellent ost and a story full of suffering.
No. You should never buy any AAA game.
I enjoy all kinds of games, but recently I'm in the toaster-compatible kind of mood. PC is decent enough for more demanding titles though
After playing all grand theft autos back in the days, i finaly took the gta5. Price is reasonable if you havent played it yet and i guess multiplayer is fun?
Thinking about getting some puzzle game to it.
Oh wise steam sale thread ... pls tell me a good JRPG. i just bought vesperia and the fucking combat system is so fucking shitty. currently refunding it
Baba Is You.
I think Berseria's combat is much much better - you can try out the demo first.
i was thinking about buying but since you're an obnoxious shill, i'll pirate it instead.
>want to buy some games
>will always feel like I wasted money if I don't pirate them instead
>pirate them
>never feel the urge to play them through
life is suffering
If you played it long enough you're still eligable for a refund, you didn't play it long enough for the combat to progress beyond "durr hit button". Tales games take a while to get off the ground.
i stopped after the zagi fight.
Go play Dragon's Dogma or something.
You have the absolute worst taste
A shill needs to be affiliated with the company to truly be a shill. I'm just obnoxious.
Vesperia's combat gets good about 7-8 hours in, and is great for the rest of the 80 hour runtime. You didn't even make it 2% through the game.
>twin stick soulslike
u wot
Not that user, but I unlocked Overlimit, Fatal Strike and Burst Arte and the combat is marginally better than in the beginning.
Manual Cancel is some artificial anti-fun thing
I played Zest and Bers and they have had much better combat. The story is interesting though.
At least you're honest.
Half Genie Hero was way too damn easy even for a Shantae game, and full of menial backtracking. That said, all Shantae games are average at best and you play them to masturbate.
Are there any games like Valkyrie Profile on steam?
Bros, where are giftanons bros
Try it, it's cool. There are no estus flasks or potions, instead you have a kick button. If you kick a stunned enemy on low health you absorb back some HP, but if you continue shooting at them instead they'll drop ammo. It ends up feeling a bit like the Doom melee finisher system but you're never locked into any animations, and it's fun to try and close the distance to heal while obviously on low health.
Super Neptunia RPG?
I'm about 10 hours into Vesperia and I feel the same. Combat isn't bad as it was in the beginning but I wouldn't be dying to Gattuso like 10 times if this game had Berseria's combat. Overall it's not that bad as I initially thought but it doesn't feel satisfying. I like the rest of the game though.
>Zest
Is the game really that bad as people say? I'm thinking about picking it up too and play it after Vesperia. Already played Berseria.
Is Duskers good? I heard it gets kind of repetitive but I dig the command console theme. Is it worth 10 bucks?
I second this
I don't like Neptunia games so I don't understand the references but it's a very good game
this is the first
you have guns that you aim with the right stick hence twin stick shooter, they cost ammo, and you also have a melee cleaver which instead costs stamina to swing. you can level up and build your character in different ways, so either go tanky, go full stamina and play melee, or instead go for a hybrid or focus on crits or base gun damage
Berseria is a much better Zestiria.
I don't think Zest is that bad but you might not enjoy it after playing Berseria.
pirates curse is the good one, but as the main attraction is the dick-hardening character design.
>pirate Vesperia to try it out
>has issues with stuttering
Is that normal? I can't tell.
Into the Fray is still my favourite, looking forward to Moonless Knight
I'll look into it. I don't know anything about these Neptunia games. How obnoxious is the weeb shit? Am I gonna get arrested if I watch some of the cutscenes?
>go out of my way to make things hard
So not killing every guard is going out of your way? If you want the true MGSV experience you'd do a no-kill no-getting spotted run, in which case that barely matters.
Is not picking the easy difficulty in a game with selectable difficulties also bad design according to you?
I'm mostly interested in the characters and their interactions. Are those bad in Zestiria?
What are some fun gems that I could play on my laptop when college starts up?
I'm bumping this thread to call you a doodoo head
the main attraction is the top tier music
Game runs fine here. There used to be stuttering but it was fixed with patches.
Try a mod from that guy who does fixes for games, not Durante but the other one. He had a mod for Vesperia to fix stutters on old patches.
Recommend me something. A few games below these on the list include FLT/Inter the Breach/Monster Hunter/Dark Souls + III (I didn't really care for II), Stardew Valley, King's Bounty, Shenzhen I/O, Sanctum 2, Witcher, Nier, other STALKER titles, Super Meat Boy, Grimrock series, Environemental Station Alpha, Baba is You
>like realistic shooters
>they are all multiplayer trash
any sp game for me, anos?
I just needed to know if it got fixed before making a judgement call on the game. Thank you, user.
gaming laptop?
>buying games you can just easily emulate on 20 different emulators
Shiet nigga next thing ypu gonna recommend buying the sega games on steam
Well, can't say if it was fully fixed or not, but the game runs fine on my machine. You can always refund it I guess if you encounter stutter early on.
Assuming not a gaming laptop, get slay the spire.
This is Rose, one of the party members and actually a major character.
You will hate her from the very beginning. Her mere presence ruins the flow of the game and makes you wish she died or disappeared. But your prayers will not be answered.
Two major characters that you control from the beginning are male. Fujoshis are creaming all over it. Take away from it what you want.
Other characters are okay.
how does world in Tales of Maj Eyal work?
Do you lose everything when you die?
Since I cant make right decision by intuition alone, proved by picking Parrots team at the start, I want to ask for advice.
Wanted to buy:
>Labyrinth of Refrain
>Tokyo Xanadu Ex
>Garrison Archangel
>Doom (2016)
Already dropped Xanadu since gameplay vids doesn't show much depth and I already have Neptunia 4GO on backlog so it hardly makes sense. I seriously considering dropping Labirynth too since it gave high price and at GOG I have Mary Skelter awaiting.
Please, help unlucky user to decide. Any suggestions are welcomed, just keep the budget under 65€ total. Or I could just save the money for AoW Planetfall this autumn.
get esa, baba, monster hunter, into the breach and grimrock. rain world is good too.
you have the option of permadeath, a lives system, or freeplay with unlimited continues and zero risk (don't bother)
yes but they have the option to remove permadeath. they have one mode that gives you 1ups every so many levels, and 1 life mode
I'm 15 hours in and the combat fucking sucks. AI is braindead. Everyone but Yuri barely has any artes to pick. Skills still are mostly irrelevant shit. Fatal Strikes suck. Overlimit is just spam mode: Activate, its not fun, just broken. Burst artes are just mini MA's.
Yes
I'm only getting games that are probably at their lowest price for years to come.
Rate my cart.
1 kr = $0.12 or €0.10
288 kr total = $34 or €30
Man, it looks like I was having a stroke when I wrote my post before.
Tales of MajEyal (otherwise known as ToME) is a roguelike with a more or less persistent overworld (a few locations float around). Areas have level ranges. Different races start in different areas, but it really makes very little difference in the long run.
The game has a lot of different classes which can be specced in different ways. Skills are on turn cooldown timers. Game has really good UI and mouse support for a roguelike, but I still recommend getting good with keyboard controls so you don't cripple yourself. It's personally my favorite roguelike in terms of accessibility vs BS and depth. I recommend looking up a video of someone just playing a run.
It's also totally free off of steam. You just get a few QoL things (leaderboards, cloud saves, DLC campaigns if you buy them) on Steam. Go try it out if you like the genre.
To add to these, there are also difficulty levels ontop of the lives system. I totally forgot about the lives system since I always play on permadeath mode.
Tales of Berseria was in Humble Monthly bundle once, so it was already cheaper.
To be honest some of the Berseria characters annoyed me to sometimes though it probably wouldn't compare to Rose I'd assume.
Just by looking at the character list, Edna is the only character that interests me so I don't know...
You pick between inf life mode, buyer only
Set life mode which gives more lives during the story progression
Or 1 life mode. Although in that skeleton final racial and blood of life item can save you 1 time and a paladin skill infinitely.
Try it, its free on the devs own site. You buy it to support the dev primarily. You can even get inf life and the like via mods hosted on the same site without owning it if that's your thing
Why not just give him a USB of the game already fully modded.
how's assassin's creed odyssey with keyboard and mouse? origins felt pretty bad
You probably have the resolution scale set wrong because you're a retarded zoomer
I did all four and didn't get anything. Not even a check mark. Gabe can blow me.
It's also worth mentioning that the dev is pretty active. The game has changed for the better in the past couple of years, with some of the more gimmicky areas (sand worm lair) being reworked a bit to be less dangerous due to factors outside of the player's control. He's laid out some plans to alleviate some early game issues and rebalance a few other areas so the game becomes more difficult without tedium or bullshit.
He's a cool dude.
I assume you can sign up for one month, get the games, then unsubscribe right? If so, damn I missed out.
>Everyone but Yuri barely has any artes to pick
I'm not that much far behind you in hours but both Estelle and Rita have the same amounts of Artes as Yuri (7~10). Dog and Karol don't have much yet.
I love grindy games and rpgs like Disgaea, any similar games on sale?
Wiki shows Yuri just plainly gets the most by far, mostly because everyone else has little to no combined artes (ie use demonfang, tigerblade 50 times, get tigerdemonfangblade)
Any games like Darkest Dungeon???
Play Elona+G
Its free and made specifically for people with this taste
Disgaea 2
Is Bloons TD 6 basically still a flash/phone game or is there actually something worth it? Sanctum III when.
Also, does anyone know anything about this game?
Looking to buy a multiplayer game. Thinking of either Vermintide 2, Arma 3, Squad, or Deathgarden. I know they're all pretty different, but does anyone have any particular recommendations out of those?
You literally played the opening 20mins of an RPG and then bitched it wasn't perfect, are you absolutely fucking retarded?
grim dawn and both expacs. i couldn't stop playing during the free weekend so looking forward to dumping some time into this.
plus crate seem pretty nice devs, and the modding community has carried over nicely from TQ

>screenshot of Deep Rock Galactic
Which game do you want to know about?
>you have to play a game for 100 hours or you can't say it's bad
Never played JRPGs?
Deep Rock Galactic. I know and love Sanctum II. Fucking awesome co-op game.
Everything in that but Katana ZERO is trash.
Can anyone recommend me any turn based RPG similar to that of Persona or Dragon Quest?
>he didn't get Outlast when it was free
Is Starbound just space Terraria?
what systems?
