Is anyone playing this? I just got it, beat down street thugs in the first 15 minutes.
Yea Forums got me to buy a PS2 and used copy of Yakuza 1 all those years ago.
Have we as a society lost our desire for manly works of art?

I'll buy it when it's cheaper. Fuck paying sixty bucks for games. No game should ever cost more than thirty.
we can never have enough yakuza studio kino
Played it. Finished it today. Solid game, 8/10. Not as good as Yakuza 0.
I'm playing it now, got like 10hrs into it. It's really cool but the tailing and investigation stuff adds nothing to the game. Plot is not as fun as a proper Yakuza game. It's still better then 90 percent of games that come out.
based poorfag
>Judgement
>e
Yikes
I never thought I would learn as much as I did today
>Plot is not as fun as a proper Yakuza game
Wrong. The only Yakuza that's better than Judgment when it comes to the plot is Y0
I disagree but maybe because I'm so invested in Yakuza characters
Yes am on chapter 5 is gud
The tailing is no good but I'm really enjoying it otherwise. First dragon engine game with decent combat, Yagami feels great to play
I'm still not digging Tak's fighting styles and I've got most basic upgrades. Even with two upgrades the combo speed is slow and there aren't many moves specifically useful as Kiryu had in K2. It also seems like they were worried about Tiger's guard break leading to stun locking so every now and then any enemy will enter a state where they back up and flail their arms and hitting them at this time will bring Tak to a dead stop.
>manly works of art
>a yakuza clone starring the gayest jap twink they could find in the gay bar
on the fat enemies that tend to stop your combo, I have more success doing charge attacks with crane style. When they're out of the way I try to build as much heat as I can with the tiger flux.
Throws have definitely been nerfed but I think wall running is even more OP

You'll warm up to the Genda cast the further you get, they don't really have much presence in the early chapters.
It still has the different subtitles depending on if you use Japanese or English audio, right?
Just finished Chapter 5. Jesus FUCK that was a boring chapter. That whole flashback sequence at the hospital sucked. I literally fell asleep.
>almost 100 bucks in leafland
I wish
>not importing games from europe
It's probably cheaper for you guys too. I buy new games off amazon uk and pay like 45 USD after shipping on brand new games.
After years of playing these games it's starting to take its toll.
After 3 they atleast starting doing something somewhat new while still being true to the game, but I'm afraid there isn't too much different with this one compared to 6. What is different? Are weapons finally fun to use and not just really shitty attack animations and heat moves? Are guns fun to use, or even in the game? It's stupid that they didn't rip the shooting from the zombie game and implemented it in certain parts of the game or something.
What really turned me off was the fact that it's still set in fucking Kamurocho. I'm probably going to get it at some point but fuck that goddamn district
