eh what's with all those FPS? what's apealing in those games? I've used to play q3 and SW:BF2 (not rebooted one) and couldn't really hook into any of this for longer than 100h. I've tried some new ones recently and they are all even worse. Only sport games are worse.

I know what it's like to play a lot of L4D1.
At one point during my uni years I played nothing but L4D, multiplayer and singleplayer with mods.

Why do you have a higher playtime for L4D1 though? I haven't played it but I thought it's generally accepted that L4D2 is better?

I've played CS:S back in time and tried TF2 for 10h maybe. I don't have console. I've forget to mention I've done all Bioshocks recently and didn't like gameplay in 3rd for too big open spaces and sniper shit.

Both are fun. Rising Storm 2 is much more action packed. Squad can be more interesting but depends more on your Squadmates to have an enjoyable experience.
Both can be ultra frustrating at times.
I could write a lot more about both if you want me to.
Id recommend Rising Storm 2 for most people as it is faster to get in and just play.

RS2 is perfect balance between realism and arcade. Gives off a slight old-skool battlefield vibe. Gunporn is GOAT.
Squad is autism galore. Full of LARPers and milsim faggots who know all the military terms but suck at the game half the time.

im either buying insurgency sandstorm, rising storm 2, or squad this sale. Have you played sandstorm? Is RS2 easy to find games in?

Sandstorm's optimization is shit so unless you have a strong PC don't bother.
I'd say RS2 is the most fun out of the bunch. RS2 always has full servers to join even on work hours.
Squad is more of milsim type game.

Didnt play sandstorm but I loved the old insurgency game and mod. Heres a screenshot I took now, I am east coast US, 7am right now. There'll be more servers later in the day. There were 2 more servers on the list but they had like 2 people. DIdnt check the smaller game modes, fuck those.

Nice. Out of curiosity though, what's the appeal of SWAT over Commando for you? SWAT mostly feels like a gimped Commando whenever I play it, though the flashbangs can be quite nice.

Faster movement and better mobility. You're also supposed to only hipfire with the swat class. Git gud at this and you'll cut through trash mobs like butter in no time. For the big guys just throw a flash to stun them and unload your mag in their face for an easy kill.
The commando just feels slow and cumbersome compared to SWAT.

I miss having friends. Half of this list is only there because I had a solid crew to play with.
