What 90's game would you like to see remade from the ground up, like Half-Life -> Black Mesa?

None cause Black Mesa is trash.
I don't want remakes, just proper ports with better framerate, texture filtering and resolution.
None, fuck remakes. Make something original and stop ruining good vidya.
t. contrarian retard
I would have answered Descent, but we already got it

Fallout 3 remaster when?
When you buy Skyrim a few more times.
It's Avatar's Pandora in a space ocean.
Nice, but they completely missed the point of Xen's aesthetic in that most of the environments were supposed to be set in organic, living organisms. That's not a boulder with skin, it has flesh because it's supposed to be a floating space mollusk, the teleporter is the pearl.
You're worming your way through the bowels of a flesh morph to be ejected out of its butthole to catch a flying stingray, it's not supposed to be the Hell dimension from DOOM 2016.
Nevermind the Aliens aesthetic, they just squandered the more unique aspects of the original for generic shit people have seen countless times before. It's different, but I'd argue it's not any better than the original vision.
This
If you're not gonna improve on what the original set out to do and just opt to change it entirely instead, just make your own damn IP.
pls
Star Control 2
Primal Rage
unless they manage to pull that stuff out of their ass for the final few maps and do go full Giger
Not exactly from 90's, but Metal Gear 1 & 2
As long as they're guaranteed good, and no monkey paw
>Populous
>Total Annihilation
>Diablo 2
Ahh, Populous. My most played game demo ever was Populous: The Beginning
Black Mesa(coming 2020)
>those HEV suit zombies in Xen
>malfuncioning suit sounds when they walk around or get shot
>suit gives them some armor
the little details the devs add are always nice
if ive never played the og half life should i play that or just play black mesa?
Game's short enough, play it first then Black Mesa.
Maybe Biomotor Unitron
If you are one of those people who think the original should be experienced first because of its legacy or whatever, do that.
Starting with black mesa is fine since the story is exactly the same with small details changed.
I was thinking MGS1 or maybe Soul Reaver but then realized they would probably want to rerecord all the dialogue and it just wouldn't be the same game.
For me it's Final Fantasy VII
Daggerfall
I'm liking it but it's too niche. I can understand why people wouldn't like it.
This, but would be nice if the original Unreal had a good remake, complete with Unreal Tournament as a side attachment.
