Compare Demon's Souls to Dark Souls 3. A lot of the concepts are the same, but the implementation and development of them makes for a completely different game. False King Allant is less aggressive than Dark Souls 3's tutorial boss. There's something to be said for refinement of an idea.

the difference is that bloodborne is the only time everything came together in a fromsoft game, demon's souls was a good foundation and they fumbled for years before they got it right

Probably not. I just replayed Dark Souls 3, and that game does not hold up. So many re-used assets and unnecessary callbacks. Dropping the Souls series was a very wise choice, it would seem they can't pull off good sequels, so I wont want for BB2 or Sekiro 2. Just keep making new, inspired shit, and the golden age will keep on going.

Not him, but there are tests on youtube and from what I understand, there use to be issues when it came out, but now its barely noticable. They even give you free week. I still have yet to try it, only reason I haven't is because there is no dlc for bb atm on psnow. I played vanilla already on my cousins ps4 so there is no point doing another playthrough when I cant even play dlc.

What Golden Age?
The Souls games aren't any better than the shovelware they were churning out in the PS2 era; there was just better marketing and timing 2009-11 was when there was peak bitching about games getting easier and this filled that void. Funny how even with a big publisher backing them Sekiro still looks cheaply made as all fuck.
