Taking the bait, the boss battles might not fit your expectations and the writing isn't the best. Though overall these are the only guys on the market getting the FPS Diablo formula right. All these other faggots pumping this shit with strange balanced changes for PvP gameplay in a PvE pivoted genre isn't what makes the game better. Borderlands might be dumb in some varying aspects, but at least the game fucking works.

I feel like there was so much standing in my way from enjoying Borderlands 2 overall. The writing was shit. 90% of the jokes were a complete cringefest, and I found the characters slightly entertaining at best, like Claptrap and Jack, or absolutely ear grating at worst like Tina.

The core of the gameplay works for me though. I just have to ignore almost everything else.

God that fight was shit. Too easy on first playthroughs, but on UVHM runs it takes FUCKING FOREVER to kill it, it’s a boring war of attrition where you basically have to camp the little stone pavilion.
