It's pretty comfortable actually.The best thing is that the triggers are in really ergonomic positions for pressing them with your middle finger while having your index fingers on the shoulder buttons (that's the new licensed one that added shoulder buttons), which is always my biggest complaint in controllers. It's also a modern 6 button controller with is cool.
Only thing that sucks is the select/start buttons are in a really awkward spot. It's also really big but overage size hands can hold it fine. If you're a literal child it may be hard to hold.

Perfect controller for Halo. When my friend got an Xbox years later with the smaller controllers I hated them.
After a few hours the hard edges do cut into your hands but this is only a problem with some games.
Also long trigger pulls were excellent for racing games.
As a kid yes it was far too big unless you were a giant freak kid
I was 13-14 when I got mine and found it fine. I have small hands now, most girls are the same size as mine

I swear to god it's handlets memeing.
For example, everyone on Yea Forums always tells me the xbox one controller is better than the DS4 for people with "big hands" but I have massive spooky skeletone hands with long fingers and the xbox one is extremely cramped for me while the DS4 isn't.
So either my hands are just that fucked up or people are lying.
When I was 12, my hands fit fine around it. I wound up at 5'8" and my proportions are all fukt tho.
