Sonic. It used to be popular and fun. Now it's just a laughing stock enjoyed only by ironic memers or out of touch people

Also lasagna and chili dogs. Also the creative process behind the creation of both characters was basic and mindless.

Seconding Mario. Old as shit, not a person alive is really excited about it, except for fan creations.

Now where could my pipe be?

You just described Sonic

Classic DOS-era IBM PC games. The IBM PC was conceived of as a machine for serious productivity to be used by mostly white, middle class male boomers who read Dilbert, The Far Side, Calvin and Hobbes and even Garfield. Consoles and arcades were for autistic ADHD-addled Asian nine-year-olds. Adventure games such as King's Quest and Myst top the list of Garfield-tier games, but most games for DOS had an acceptably low level of difficulty and enough 80's action movie inspiration for the thirty-something boomers with ailing reflexes of that time period to enjoy.
