Personally, I think of this as the peak of the Souls series.
Behold a peak in the Souls series.
Why Dark Souls 3 has the least interesting areas? They are so bland compared to the other games.
>NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! THE GEOGRAPHY DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!!!! IT BREAKS MY IMMERSION!!!!!
>MUH IMPOSSIBLE SPACE
where's the elevator?
Based. Only redditors hate ds2
The world is dying.
Unironically a great fucking area. I've played 80 hours of DaS2 and still find new secrets in it. If it had less bonfires and more shortcuts it would've been as good as the best areas from DaS1 and 3.
The world is dying in DS1 as well, your point?
But where does the elevator go to
post ur favorite areas from each game
>ds3
dreg heap and ringed city, pygmy tower in the future
>bloodborne
fishing hamlet, old yharnam
>sekiro
monkey area before ape guardian, burning ashina
>DeS
Never finished it but I liked the mines very much
>DaS1
Undead Crypt
>DaS2
Bastille
>DaS3
Undead Settlement
>BB
Forbidden Woods
>Sekiro
The monk forest, forgot the name
>>ds3
Untended Graves
>>bloodborne
Byrgenwerth
>>Sekiro
Fountainhead Palace
because it was supposed to look like imgur.com
Not even close to how far it went on 3. Firelink has lots of vegetation growing and many places look and feel quite normal. How can you compare the entirety of Undead living spaces in 1 to 3, where the bodies are literally hanging on every single house, people exist to bury others nonstop and it's so overpopulated with dead.
Thank god they didn't keep the stupid item equipped at your back at all times. That looks fucking ugly and would be specially terrible with spears/halberds.
I thought they were mostly peak souls aesthetic
>>BB
>Forbidden Woods
Why does everyone hate it? It feels like a real fucking forest, easy to get lost but with lots of ways to navigate efficiently. The sound design is perfect and it looks like it has no end. MYSTERY NIGGAS was a fun as fuck bossfight and even though it needed more enemy variety, I love how the fights are organized throughout the level.
It's ugly
too many of they same enemy
pretty poor level design
It's just a garbage filler level
>DaS
Sens Fortress, giant dungeon full of death traps and getting to the top feels fucking amazing
>DaS 2
Empty Heides tower of Flame, has a fantastic skybox
>DaS 3
Archdragon Peak or Fillianores Rest
Both are amazing looking, Archdragon is possibly the best looking thing From has made. I love the end of the world aesthetic of Fillianores
>Sekiro
Senpou Temple. Amazing ambient soundtrack and looks great
I disagree with all points except enemy variety.
I think it's the most beautiful area of any souls. The amount of work put into making it look like an actual forest and not just trees next to each other like they did with other Souls forests.
Level design is pretty good if after several playthroughs you can still find new secrets and hidden shortcuts. The way it leads back to the Clinic is also great.
An actual filler level is Cainhurst. Literally 3 enemy types and beautiful but useless tons of rooms.
>Ds1
Great Hollow/Ash lake
>Ds2
Majula
>Ds3
Irithyll
>Bloodborne
Hunters Dream
>Sekiro
Senpau Temple
Either you're blind or shitposting
It's not even that good of a forest, compare it to a randomly generated forest in witcher 3 and it becomes painfully obvious how shit it actually is.
At the very least there should have been wind or something, it's just bland and grey.
DeS: Latria
1: Sen's Fortress
2: Harvest Valley/Earthen Peak
BB: Yarghul
3: Irithyll
Sekiro: Fountainhead
>DaS 3
Irithyll of the Boreal Valley
>BB
Fishing Hamlet, Cainhurst
>DaS
I really like the whole game. The areas have a lot of variety and it really feels like an adventure, something that sequels fail to capture.
If I had to pick, my favourite is Oolacile.
