I'm wasting time here so clearly not very far

Depends on how much I like the game.

I got the 7 day survivor achievement in Dead Rising. It wasn't very hard, but spending 14 hours with my Xbox on, carefully checking to make sure my health hadn't dropped low enough to die every few minutes made me realize exactly how much of a timesink video games and achievement hunting can be.
Now I just play casual shit because I have no motivation

We did the 3 day survivor achievement, me and 3 other friends, and we only managed to do it by taking turns while playing other stuff. It was like shift rotation for guard duty. One guy would be playing the game, but not really doing anything dangerous and just looking for healing items to stockpile in whatever safe spot we had, and then someone else would take over when he got to bored or had to eat or something.
