do you actually believe that

pffft, wait til you see what's after him.

What about some tips, retard

How about you go to gamefaqs, dipshit?

Is there anyway to beat this boss without cheesing the fuck out of him?

Git Gud.

I would spoiler that but I’ve only been here for a month and I don’t know how.

you get to take an entire health bar via stealth and a buddy to fight him
If you can't deal with him you just don't know how to play properly

unfair and antifun

Quit. If you think this fight is hard then you will never be capable of defeating Isshin.

>Losing to a drunk guy

Attached: 1559848321425.png (407x286, 96K)

You think thats hard wait till you fight the dude from the beginning again. holy shit I had to stop playing that game because of it. harder than dark souls for sure.

Learn his swings and how the delays before them. If you have oil, you can use that with your fire prosthetic to get a bit of free damage. If your problem is with his crew, I don't know what to tell you, unless you managed to miss the axe.

Go somewhere else. You didn't understand how to play the game yet.

Git gud

>literally one the funnest easiest bosses

Nigger you are so beyond fucked if you can't even beat this dude. I thought he was easier than the spear fag before him

What's the point of playing a game that unfairly fucks you over and makes you angry.

Attached: C.S. Lewis.png (1682x710, 830K)

I'm a dumbfuck at games and I got past him.

I wouldn't know, I skipped Dark Souls and only played Sekiro

How do you do this? The guy is literally in front of a wall

grab aggro by killing some adds
run away
wait 30 secs
attack him while he is walking back

You may be able to sneak around through the building on the left, I think

lol just walk away at a fast pace look how fat he is.

Sigh.
Like 99% of the bosses and enemies: run around (you don't have a limited run time) until there's an opening, attack when there's an opening, repeat until he's at 0 health.
Then just do two attacks per opening and hold block, block his attacks, repeat.
If your heat meter is too high then just hold block till it goes away when he does a large attack.

99% of the game works like that. You can parry too if you want an easier time. Same with the icchimoji skill

>run around until there's an opening, attack when there's an opening

Attached: 1537251686291.png (146x187, 18K)

The game is pretty shitty in terms of actual combat. I just gave the easiest way through it.

The "correct" way is the dance. Every boss has either a two hit combo you can parry easily or else a large opening after a large move which you can do.

You could also just use tools too. Unltimately the game is piss easy

>game is so easy I chose to cheese it in a way that takes longer than just fighting the bosses head on

Attached: 1545073274766.png (648x598, 508K)

His Interior Minister version wrecks my shit so hard, I had to resort to other consumables, riceballs and shit to restore health.

Ok, so I just beat it by basically treating him like a Dark Souls boss and attacking every time he drank. Not really what I had in mind but I guess it worked

I told you the easiest way.
Outside of a few bosses that are based on hit and run like the bull or horsey because you're chasing them all the time, the game is easier done as the dance method.
Two attacks for you, two for them, repeat.

Welcome to Sekiro.

CASUAL

>use Ashina Cross during the Isshin boss fight
>No cool special animation that plays between you two

Wasted potential to be quite fairly honest famalamaham

How did C.S. Lewis predict soiboys?

I feel like you played it for five hours and then just stopped entirely and are now acting like an expert, because I thought this too until I actually played past what is essentially the tutorial and this stops being a valid strategy.

This is the one fight From actually gives you npc help for, just talk to the Samurai dude in near the pond before you start the fight

i beat lady butterfly first try
but this nigger took me at least 10

Attached: 1400886107947.jpg (640x480, 33K)

It actually is one of the most valid strategies. Some of them can't really work like that. For example Butterfly, she needs to be fought properly or cheese with tools.

Outside of one or two bosses it's simply: run around, hit until healt his 0 then dance with no parry if you're bad or run around, tool use once, hit for 4-5 seconds, repeat until health is at 0 then dance for a bit.

Fastest way is obviously just walk forward parrying everything which works on every boss in the game.

Bull and Gyobu are both deflect fights, what are you on about. Owl is the one that's easiest to just hit and run.

Here's the only tip you'll need.
Stop being a pussy and learn to feel comfortable hanging right beside enemies and learn to parry.
Parrying has a pretty generous window. You can also block if you end up hesitating. After awhile it clicks. If you played any other FromSoftware games, forget all you know about them because they pretty much trained you wrong.

Get behind him

Splash him with oil and burn his fat ass. That's what I did.

Attached: Boss Fighters.png (2872x1424, 131K)

>cheese the fat cunt by distracting him with the samurai
>samurai is killed by the fat cunt
should I feel bad

Attached: nervousheavy.jpg (236x226, 9K)

Just use the raven feathers to nothing personnel his slow ass

I cheesed this guy by abusing resets so I could kill the guys around him and then get the samurai guy to help after the drunk was alone.

The easiest strategy for bull is to just run after him hitting him from behind.
Horseyman just involves waiting for him to charge away from you then grappling hook attack him.
When they've got a high meter, firecrackers to both and just spam attack for thedeath blow.

Jesus Christ people are still getting trolled by butterfly how tf are you fags gonna finish the game

>he let the companion die

Attached: C3769FAB-5605-41EF-9B25-B39898D712A4.png (600x538, 239K)

Learn the patterns and how to parry? Try to kill all the minions you can before defeating him (there is no need to kill all, just get close enough to get his attention and kill whoever gets near you before him), if you are having problems with parrying, stop spamming. Better to hold blocking and realese for a moment before the attack comes so you end up holding again when it hits you

Yes. He wasnt able to avenge his clan, you jerk.

Literally just slide in and out.

>find out you have to fight him the second time you pass through there
>get scared
>beat him without even trying
This is why this game is so amazing, that feeling of progression.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty disgusted when they recycled this guy.

t. failbird dad

Attached: wolfs fw his dad failed to kill a little girl near him.jpg (640x480, 36K)

I stopped playing at this guy because having to get to him every time and kill all his buddies before even fighting was too fucking boring and tedious.

I can't believe anyone would play a game where you have to kill mooks before fighting a boss or mini-boss, how did this game even get made

Having to kill them once or twice is fine, having to kill them over and over when they're so easy yet tedious to kill just because any one of them can fuck you in the ass if you make a mistake is not.

I honestly fucking hate the Mikiri Counter system, I can't count the times Wolf just nudged to the side taking full damage than initiating the counter.

you're supposed to just press the button without inputting a direction

>stealth kill 1 health bar
>bring fag samurai buddy to distract while you do damage on his back
>fucking use your weapon arts faggot, there's literally an unblockable thrust
>hit your opponent until you see sparks start flying, then stop
>pay attention to the fucking oversized warning icons that give you ample time to get the fuck out of the way
you better git gud soon because you'll be fighting the exact same type of boss he is another three times before the end of the game, and they only get harder with more gimmicks as time goes on

You're doing it wrong

How the fuck do people like you manage to have trouble with mikiri counter with how fucking easy and forgiving it is? It's no wonder Breath of the Wild's counter system is absolutely braindead and works from 1,000 kilometers away.

For some reason this guy took more than 30+ tries but I somehow killed that fucking ghost lady my first try, I just don't get this fucking game

>no problem at all with monkey business
>mikiri and jump through any red dicker out there
>can't get past ishinn first health bar
shameful dispray but it just becomes a endurance test having to kill 4 health bars of bosses man
At least I will never go low as pic related

Attached: cheatboyz[1].jpg (636x333, 59K)

I've been one shotting all the bosses and minibosses since ashina depths but I've been stuck on the shrine lone shadow spear guy (who uses a sword) for like 2 hours which is bizarre because I beat the identical lone shadow poison guy in the dojo in one try too
why is the camera so ass
why are these fights in tiny boxes

Other way around for me. I beat Juzou on my first try and struggled on Butterfly for like a week. My theory is that if you don't beat the boss on your first try with pure instinct, you end up studying it and trying to learn the mechanics. You end up understanding the fight mechanically and knowing what should theoretically happen in every feasible situation, but then From's janky ass coding comes into play and your inputs just literally don't work half the time. So mentally you know what you should be doing and press all the right buttons but nothing happens and you die, making the game feel even harder than it actually is because it's a janky piece of shit like all of From's games.

I like using dodge because I never know exactly where I'll end up or if an attack will track it
adds some spice to the game

>Wolf just nudged to the side
Gotta love people blaming the character you are playing as for a mistake you made.

Attached: 1422057050645.png (152x80, 14K)

Op, for that boss you can clear out the ads, run away to deagro the drunkard, wait for him to turn his back on you, stealth deathblow his 1st hp bar, rush it to the samurai guy near the pond, talk to him so that he joins you in the fight, use oil and fire if you want more cheese.

In general, you will want to parry in this game. And hold block. Holding block recovers your posture, and you can parry out of block. Basically every failed parry should turn into a block, posture is your second hp bar.

Your posture can't be broken as long as you keep deflecting even if the bar is full.

Master the mikiri counter, it's very useful against all thrusts in the game. No need for directions, just press the B button.

Dodge and jump have the same i-frames on them, but those are few, so you have to time it well. Use dodge to stay close and counter attack, use jump for getting away and repositioning.

Firecrackers are probably the most useful prosthetic in the game, but other tools also have their uses. A lot of bosses are vulnerable to certain tools.

Sekiro is a great action game. It stops being hard once you wrap your head around the combat system.

To be fair, the game tells you to also press the left stick when explaining mikiri which I'm sure threw a lot of people off.

Doesn't take too long to figure out unless you are so shit you can't recognize your mistakes

Just deflect him and counter attack when there’s an opening

I love that feeling of "I am never going to be able to beat this boss" slowly giving way to a win. Just keep fighting him and learning.
Honor is for faggots. Fight like a dickass shinobi.

you sneak around and minions around him, then yyou backstab one of those shield bearers. Then you run circles around the mansion so that you get 1v1s with the remaining minions.

After that you pull the boss to the side of the house until he deaggros at which point you sneak attack him. After that, you run to the bald samurai and ask him to help you fight.

my entire childhood was losing to a drunk guy Pikachooch.

Mikiri counter is a fucking black hole vortex on spear enemies and Isshin's second phase.

certain attacks fuck up mikiri counter dodge conditioning, especially the delayed thrusts from spear mini bosses

tgsw

>Kill buddies
>Run away until he de-agros
>Sneak up to him for deathblow 1
>Quickly run over to friendly npc so he acts as a distraction
>???
>Profit

Isshin's first form is actually really easy, the track is to always be attacking him so he counter attacks in a very predictable pattern. Usually I do two hits and then let him attack, he does the same thing virtually every time and there is a good chance he'll do a thrust leading to an easy MC. When he sheathes his sword to do the two hit cross cut thing just back away and let him whiff it

Not impossible, but I gave up on Lady Butterfly.

Just hit her with shuriken whenever she's on her wires

Dumbass. Kill all the goombas surrounding him first by playing peekaboo with them. Then you go up the NPC and activate him. Hes gonna take a chunk of heath off Jizzo. While hes doing that you follow up with the flame cannon or the loaded axe. When the NPC dies, you gotta finish Jizzo off. Just cut into him everytime he chugs and try to block his big ass sword.

I've seen it reach thrusts coming from the horizon. Defensive options are very powerful in this game, I love it.

you can kill EVERYONE around him before actually fighting him
you can take one life bar off him to start the fight
and you can cheese him by throwing a meat shield at him draw agro
he's the easiest fight in the game

git gud

hit him with your sword until he is dead

>pulls out a Glock

>Mikiri counter is a fucking black hole vortex on spear enemies and Isshin's second phase.
Yes. Which is why he shouldn't be having any issues.
>conditioning
Yeah the conditioning of allowing and forgiving players to spam it and get away with it. Otherwise you have situations like
>especially the delayed thrusts from spear mini bosses
Where for one single attack the game simply expects the player to wait, be patient. and properly react by pressing the button with good timing rather than mindlessly mashing, and for the one time the game doesn't do the work for you, immediately going "this shit doesn't work!" like a spaz.

shinobi hunter was unironically harder

Thanks senpai

why didn't isshin tell everyone in the castle to stop attacking you once you got to him

Lmao just block the fucking spear dummy

Sidestep dodge into attack works surprisingly well against her strings. Most importantly, when her ghosts turn into fireballs, you can run in circles to avoid them all.

When you start seeing through boss' weaknesses, a lot of times you will find that this game rewards aggression. Try not to wait till the boss is in your face, dash in and attack. A lot of times the defensive options bosses react with are less dangerous compared to what they have in stock if you let them unwind.

Not every enemy's thrust attack works like the spear general's or isshin's. Isshin's second phase will literally be sucked in from feet away, MC on Isshin's spear phase is insanely forgiving compared to a lot of other thrust attacks.

Shinboi Hunter is a fucking cunt, I died 3 times to Shinobi Hunter on NG+ yet killed Corrupted Monk in one attempt at the Fountainhead Palace

>beat Roberto's dad, Long arm Centipede, and Blazing Bull first try during first playthrough
>have to play each over five times in ng plus

If you wait and properly press the button like any counter system should for every single attack, you don't even have to worry about it. Works 100% of the time. The only people where that becomes an issue the ones that benefit from the forgiveness of it, they panic and spam it before the attack animation is even visible.

I love making enemies fight each other with magic, especially later in the game when there is more variety. The fights work out very well, the enemy design really shines there.

>4 health bars
Genichiro barely counts as a fight by that point
you should be slaughtering that punk in about 20 seconds
first form Isshin is pretty easy too; all of his attack patterns are evenly spaced, and his Akina Cross is super telegraphed and generates a million posture damage on deflect
second form is the real fight; that spear is bananas and his attack patterns are super erratic
third form has its moments, but the nature of lighting reversal ultimately undercuts everything that second form established
all in all, a decent fight and certainly challenging, but far from impossible
stick with it user, you'll crush him soon

will we ever see more of isshin's whacky adventures
he's such a great character

Why are you trying to beat him without cheesing him?

Jesus it's like the MGR counter all over again.

I like how Sekiro doesn't shy away from a lot of tutorial pop-ups. They tried their best to teach the player the ways of Sekiro. They fucked up pretty badly with the mikiri description. Just fucking press B, your entire dash forward is now rigged against thrusts.

ATTENTION ATTENTION

The biggest problem players are having with this game is they are trying role-play while they are playing the game, instead of simply playing the game as it is presented to them.

"I don't want to cheese the bosses"
"I don't want to use the prosthetics"
"I don't want to run around"

These are arbitrary restrictions you are putting on yourself that do not exist within the game. You are a "playing" at playing the game. You're role-playing a narrative you have created for yourself the game does not know about.

The easiest way to beat Juzou is to sneak in the back entrance of his area, kill a guy or two, then retreat when the rest of the enemies become alerted. Then you wait out the alert somewhere far back in the level and repeated until it's just Juzou left, then you lure him over to the old samurai where you let the Samurai distract him while you set him on fire and take opportunistic swings.

Is this stupid and tiresome? YES. Is it extremely "video-gamey" and unrealistic? YES.

But those are concepts the game does not care about. And neither should you if you have any hope to finish this game.

tl:dr the same scrubs that talk about "honor" in fighting games think this game is hard because they refuse to actually play to win

People also think that because they see a boss they are supposed to kill them right then and there when they are really supposed to continue exploring the world.

>wiping the floor with a boss in NG+ after getting stuck on them for hours in NG
This is the best feeling.

Doesn't Dante invalidate any boss those other guys have fought?

they should have just said 'dash into thrust attacks'.

the left stick + B icon just made be think I have to click the left stick in while pressing B

Asura ending feels bad because Isshin was so disappointed in you. I really got the feeling that he treats Sekiro more like a grandson than he does Genichiro.

Did you try parrying his attacks?

feel the same way about not using magic in souls
like why run around straight swording everything when you can throw fireballs with your offhand and other cool shit

Fuck i just feel frustrated. I just stopped at Demon and Isshin and left for 2 weeks straight, i just cant get myself to fight them, like, i tried 3-4 times on each boss and went: "ok, i will finish this later".
And its more funny because i didnt have that much problem with the game and i even liked the combat.

>unironically recommending gamefaqs, the land of retarded zoomers who can’t even complete quests in Kingdom Come Deliverance without crying that it’s broken and glitched

Embarrassing.

about to talk to owl as soon as I stop getting filtered by the lone shadow guy
what's the best ending to go for on a first playthrough?

Imagine sucking at the game. I feel bad for zoomers.

Try harder on Isshin until you git gud and he will make your NG+ run easy by way of mastery (unless you remove Kuros Charm) and use malcontent whistle on Demon to trivialize his third phase.

Purification gives you another Hirata Estate memory so that one. Return ending is the best ending though.

i've been stuck on corrupted monk and monkey for a month and at this point im too rusty to beat them ever, how far in the game did i get

Why didn’t you just press L1

like half if you get a non bad ending

I suck at the game and i killed him first try and it's actually a fun fight unlike the others.

yeah that's the point faggot. if you can't beat this guy then maybe gamefaqs his the place for you.

Use the suzaku umbrella for the demon.

Every fight is a fun fight when you know what you're doing.

I'm stuck at the first Owl fight. I've casually fought him a half dozen times and barely made an progress. I would go explore the world but I have found every gourd seed and prayer bead available in the game at this point, and filled out a lot of the skill and prosthetic upgrade tree. So really all I have to do is the fight, which I am just not enthusiastic to do. I did notice you can just run around and wait for him to do his big leaping attack and then get two good lick in on him. I expect that will be how I do his first health bar. It's just... feels like a chore.

Attached: 1503499828984[2].jpg (1200x944, 172K)

For some reason Mikiri counter doesn't always work in both of the Isshin fights.

That's been my biggest dilemma with Sekiro. I want to like it, I really do, but every time I play it I end up thinking "I'm really not having fun. This is such a slog. Why am I bothering with this shit?"

Start dodging shit and chipping at his HP. The one thing you have to watch out for, however, are his firecrackers. Get hit by that and it's a one-shot.

Sounds like bad game design.

I dislike one-hit kills, but everything else is fair.

Everything else is fair except the one really bad thing that is unfair.

Sounds like bad game design.

Okay, bud. There were a lot of things about Sekiro that pissed me off, but I still had a good time with it and beat it multiple times charmless.

>but I still had a good time with it and beat it multiple times charmless.
Pointless autism.

These are hard at first, then they become the most fun enemy to bully. Perfect countering their 4-hit combo and finishing with a mikiri is sex.

>how dare he replay a game that he enjoyed

He can actually survive?
Every time I did this fight he died in 10 seconds.

you need to stop backing away and go in and maintain posture or interrupt his posture recovery spell.

>pretending KCD isn't broken and glitched
>thinking KCD being broken and glitched is okay
whichever it is, unironically kys Vávra

I think is right. You even give butterfly as an example. Your entire strategy wouldnt work, for example, with the fag at the top of the castle hours after butterfly. You can parry around him sure, but his moveset requires much more than just running behind him and wacking him 4-5 times as you suggested. Most bosses, let alone enemies, dont let you just hit them 4 consecutive times.

Simply put, there wouldn't be tons of cheesing videos if all you had to do was "just parry and hit him, bro".

Every time he throws the debuff bomb, run in his face and attack, the explosion will miss you. And he will be throwing the bomb all the time unless you have the debuff on.

wtf I beat this boss on the first try without even receiving damage

I just got to owl and tried to run into him when he tosses the thing before I saw this post
I even ran a bit to the side and the aoe of the debuff still got me
only tried 3 times though so still getting used to it

>murder the little guys around him one or 2 at a time
>run out to the other side of the river
>resets him
>repeat til he is alone
>backstab him
>use fireworks to stun boss
>run to NPC
>the NPC joins the battle and tanks for you

or you can get good and learn to parry.

Hug him.

>Cant defeat fucking Juzou
>Calls others retard
Damn you're in for a nasty surprise! Might as well quit now, you fucking casual!

Anyone know if you can do the mid air deathblow on Genichiro/any boss? I'm going through ng+3 no charm/bell and having a blast but I'm trying my best to actually use combat arts and skills whenever I can

Attached: SEKIRO SHADOWS DIE TWICE Screenshot 2019.04.14 - 23.13.46.21.png (1920x1080, 2M)

shichimen is the only one I know of but it's a mini
unrelated but I also pulled it off once on a spear adept which was kinda cool

First sneak around to quick kill and whittle his allies. Once you eliminate all of them, find the samurai who is on standby and talk to him. If he attacks Juuzo you can easily whittle him down while he focuses on samurai.

If you activate samurai too soon you will lose him to the mobs.

If you are getting killed very easily by mobs, you probably are here too early and should leave after progressing in the overworld some more.

Attached: tumblr_inline_pa6nuogiqE1qjdk5j_1280.jpg (1280x720, 103K)

get fucking gourd lol

i suck at the game too user. not memeing on you, im stuck on this dude at one end and the horseman guy at the gate on the other.

firecracker the horse guy and grapple to him for a few hits when he throws his spearhead around

be aggressive. you have to lead "the dance"
dont worry about his posture til he is at 50% or below. this is gonna be true of most big bosses.
abuse Ichimonji double. if do it when he starts his anti healing bomb animation you will step outside of its range on the second inchimonji.

besides that you are really just gonna need to focus on getting parries down.

or you can just run around for 30+ mins getting a hit or 2 in when its safe. its not fun and you wont be able to do that on every boss.

how do you avoid horseman when he charges at you? he always ends up cutting off my retreat no matter which way i run

you parry his shit.

if you can't do the deflects just rapidly tap L1 and you'll avoid most of the damage and maybe even get a parry in
and then hold block afterwards to restore your own posture faster

cool, ty. i havent actually fought him more than a couple times, for some reason i imagined you couldnt parry such a big / non-sword attacker. was just fucking up the timing im sure

Charge right back at him. If you're up against the side of the horse most of his attacks will whiff over your head and you can just keep smacking him. Hitboxes in the game are generally quite good so if it looks like an opening it probably is. Biggest advice I can give for the whole game is to not be intimidated and control the fight on your terms. You have a lot of defensive options and they're all most effective right up in the enemy's face

Attached: SEKIRO SHADOWS DIE TWICE Screenshot 2019.04.14 - 23.19.08.32.png (1920x1080, 1.11M)

you can parry pretty much everything outside of perilous attacks even if it looks funny (dog jumps, kicks, headbutts, etc)
when you get past horse guy there's another miniboss that you might think isn't parryable but it is

Just always do the forward+B. If you just press B, even a very small nudge to the sides will fuck you over. But if you dash towards him and press B, you get them 100% of the time.

Anyone else really enjoy Isshin’s fight? Doing it Charmless is a nice challenge, especially phase 2.

Attached: 141D1A43-04FC-422D-8EFE-A05753C8328D.jpg (331x804, 148K)

the only time you cant parry something is if you have a HUGE red kanji over your head.
when that shows up it is either a grab/sweep attack. both are countered by jumping and have skills you can unlock later.
the other is a thrust attack. that has to be mikirid.

here is something to keep in mind.
you are playing as a ninja. use everything you can to win. fireworks to stun his horse? fuck yea. use all the tools and attacks that fit the situation."honor" is flowery words to control people.

That ninja on the same level is not even a miniboss and is 10 times harder than him. I beat that fuck after like 50 tries and the rest of the game seems easy compared to it so far.

>That fucking thrust attack Genichiro has where he fakes a cue only to thrust a short while after.

I fucking hate that thing.

that ninja becomes a standard enemy half way though the game.

>When he sheathes his sword to do the two hit cross cut thing just back away and let him whiff it

Once you get the timing down, parrying is actually very easy, also it feels great.

When he sheathes his sword and charges up, wait for it to blink. As soon as it does that you hit the block button twice.

interior ministry dudes are like 10 times harder than everything else except the dual sword ones since they just have basic attacks
spent more time on the lone shadows than any other boss so far

Well, by now i figured out all his attack patterns and can beat him consistently, it should be doable. (Please tell me i don't have to fight more than one at the same time.)

>attract and kill the enemies around him with shuriken
>eat some gachin sugar and alert Juzou until he searches for you
>backstab as he is walking back
>lead him to the NPC so he can help you kill him if needed
ez

the key to beating sekiro is to abandon scaredy cat souls combat antics where you roll stab roll. you need to engage with the bosses head on. read their attack patterns and deflect. the sooner you stop being a dodgenigger the better.

oh boy

The game literally tells you to use sidestep and counterattack. She's really easy that way

im sorry.
im so so sorry.
Poor Little Ninja.jpeg
>YEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOWWWWWWWWW

honestly I got fucked up by all of hirata estate and the whole rest of the game was easy in comparison.
Beat the final boss first try but that guy, shinobi hunter, juzou, and butterfly all kicked my ass several times.

Monkey business is kicking my ass. Trying to stay aggressive but I just end up eating too many hits and that's only in the first phase. I'm slowly getting better at the fight but it's just so tedious.

Parrying his ashina cross feels so great.

>(Please tell me i don't have to fight more than one at the same time.)

bait the poop throw and run full speed at him to get behind for several free hits
second phase is easier

The sword arts are utterly useless outside of Ichimonji.

high monk is good for punishing sweeps

whirlwind slash is sort of useful in mibu
I think people use mortal draw and shadowrush to cheese some stuff
but yeah ichimonji double is the only practical skill I use in actual fights
it's a shame they couldn't get creative with those

when he goes to shit in his hand run at him. he will miss 100% of the time.
use the fireworks.
when he roars use the grappling hook to get on him. it stuns him and gives you free hits.
he has alot of recovery time from his attacks use those. try to hit his head. it will stun him. dont worry about his posture. he is a HP boss.
for phase 2
dont be super close to him. counter his big over head attack. you will know it when you see his start up animations. if you parried it right it will stun him. bring medication that lowers terror.

WW slash is very useful for keeping up pressure and AoE.
I used it on butterfly. it comes out so fast and hits high and low. it kept her on defense while getting atleast one hit in each time.

You're suppose to lure him back to the red crates of gunpowder by the stairwell behind him and make him ignite them. Also use the spear twice to tear off his armor if you didn't do that.

Just trick the demon into jumping off a fucking cliff and kill Isshin with the attack boost. All is fair to a shinobi.

You are gonna need to try more than that with those bosses.
Demon is an HP boss. focus on 1 or 2 hits. thats all. use last whistle upgrade in phase 3. he works like a Bloodborne boss not a typical Sekiro boss.

Issin on the other hand. is one of the best fights in the game. dont let up on him. use high monk in phase 1. he loves his sweeps. after that change out to ichimonji. focus on parries, mikiri and lightning counter.

Hold distance and attack when he's vulnerable.

Holy fuck I'm having some serious monkey trouble charmless bell ng3. I hate the beast bosses so fucking much, they just have a ridiculous hp pool you have to slowly whittle down without getting one shotted and posture breaking is impossible unless they're almost dead anyway. Higher ngs make it so much more grueling and slow, even doing everything perfectly in phase 1 takes a good 5 minutes just to die to a single stunlock combo off a mistimed parry. FUCK I'm tilted

>Slightly edited bait thread
>still nets a large amount of tards.
Jealous but not surprised.

lol

This

feat-wise sekiro did some pretty crazy shit compared to every other character in the game
like isshin was good with the sword but he didn't go around killing immortal ape monsters and probably didn't fight a dragon
it actually feels super unbalanced by the end

>He doesn't enjoy becoming good at surviving in an unfair world
literally become a man, get some balls

>unfair
Sekiro is nothing BUT fair. Dark Souls was 'unfair' in that it gave players so much help.

>i never learned to parry; the post

I quit this game at the gorilla boss. Ask me anything.

If you don't know how to Mikiri, sure.

Imagine being this retarded. Just parry him idiot.

Maybe

that spear hunter guy made me rage quit the game at first.

glitches and bugs are a staple feature in Eurojanks

How do kill these fucking shitty ghost enemies? I have killed EVERYTHING I've come across except them
Three paths with Headless and 2 Shichimakasen fuckers who are still alive, and I HATE it
I know there's an anti-terror gourd: where get?
And can I farm Confetti yet? (I'm in the Hidden Mist Village graveyard right now)

I killed most bosses within 2 tries, including Monkey Trouble and Double Monkey Trouble, but FUCK ghosts and FUCK ghost people

Alright bros how to beat last boss and that shitty demon?

>ghost enemies
You mean in the forest you can completly skip them, also those fags don‘t attack. If you get to the guy at the burning budda statue you there will be another mist, keep to the left and find the drinker boss, skip it and advance further.

divine confetti reks them dont worry, you shouldnt need any retries
alternatively you can use the lazulite sacred flame + living force which has the same effect

Become proficient, plebian.

What's after "him" (and the 30 goons) is literally easier.

>letting an enemy with a name live
That's fucking unforgivable, senpai
I'm still tilted I permanently missed a few useless items after giving the snake the business

You spelled pleb wrong

Afaik these fucks don‘t drop anything to 99% and you can still kill them after the fog.

he spelled plebean wrong

I just won against corrupted monk only with 4 gourds, 3 vitality boosts and 2 attack upgrades. Feels good. Not charmless, though

You spelled it wrong too.

Block his attacks, dodge the poison, jump when you see the red icon over his head.

Wrong.

So, is Sabimaru ever useful?
Like, how fast does it apply the status when upgraded?

Did you use the stealth skip for the second stage of the fight? You could stealth skip the first stage as well previously, but it was patched out.

em, sorry, i wasn't clear enough. I fought against fake version. Basicaly i did butterfly>gyobu>corrupted monk(fake) run.

I spelled plebeian wrong

How do I anti-air deathblow

you can't even beat up a drunk person, DUMBASS

you can stealth kill that one too, unless they patched it

How do I get to that one hidden item in the Hirata Estate bamboo forest
It's taunting me so

I love Juzou, he's unironically in my top 3 fights together with Genichiro 2 and Corrupted Monk 2, he's the perfect (mid)boss, they nailed everything about him.
