Grab a rotten apple as soon as you can, which is basically as soon as you get the cart. He's fast and strong and lands a lot of crits and has sap too so he can lower defense right at the start before anyone attacks. Boy did it suck using sap at the end because the caster was slow

You'll need the wagon to recruit monsters, you get it from Fortuna by the man in the house in the top left of town but only at night, Saber you get after you resolve the Coburg castle chapter and continue to Hay afterwards. You find Saber in a cave, don't fight him in order to tame him you use Bianca's ribbon to make him remember you so make sure it's on you and not in the bag. Also you can find metal slimes in Abovitall so if you need to grind thats the place to do it.

None of the three "love" the Hero before getting married. The closest would be Bianca, I guess, but Nera definitely has as much of a romantic interest in the Hero as Deborah does at the time he makes his choice. As the game progresses, Nera's and the Hero's love for each other grows into (imo) the strongest of the three possible pairs.

God I wish it was anime instead. They could've kept the style. In broly they experimented with different angles and colors and it worked. I can imagine a dq animated movie with crazy colors and great action.

Maybe that style in 3d makes it easier to convey facial expressions or something, because it would be fine if they really helped you feel what they're feeling

user, not to get too analytical of a fairy tale, but that's retroactive intensifying of a normal crush. If the Hero doesn't pick Deborah, those feelings fade away. She ends up alone but that's because of her personality, not heartbreak. Nera also shows an immediate, physical reaction to the Hero.
Nera definitely doesn't give me the impression of "not giving a shit". You could say she's just putting on an act, but that doesn't fit with anything else she does the entire game.
