>taking 30 minutes
jesus fucking christ, you are bad
it's called Monster HUNTER not Boss Rusher.
If you want to fight a monster in an enclosed area there's always the Arena.
>Can't kill the Great Jagras in under 2 minutes
embarrassing
No
>he doesn't use a hammer
It's more like spend 5 minutes slaughtering a giant beast that you keep locked down with throwing weapons and flash bombs and the helpless dipshit can't get away lmao.
That's a pretty accurate description if you're bad at it
Yup literally Monster Hunter.
HE'S FUCKING IN
I don't get the point of monster hunter. You just beat up on majestic monsters living peacefully in their own habitat for loot to kill even bigger monsters. I get it is a video game, but even senseless violence in GTA has more ingame justification and narrative than MonHun
when youre starting and bad at it yeah
>living peacefully
No.
Well I dislike the point of killing the same monster over and over again to get rare loot. Just grind of Monster X's tail for 3-4 hours.
In the story they say Monster X is a pest. Okay, kill it once. There's no reason to keep replaying the same mission over and over again and narratively it doesn't make any sense, not to mention tedious.
It’s all in the name of science and conservation, you’re even explicitly given more materials if you capture them versus outright killing them when possible.
you're only called in to kill problem monsters. and even then, they prefer captures over kills
that's just as bad
>spends 30 minutes on tutorial boss
Yeah, that's what it's going to be like if you're that bad at the game
Hunters help maintain the balance of the ecosystem. You're given quests where you're expressly hunting a monster that's invading another ecosystem, and there are threats like Elder Dragons and Deviljho that can wipe out entire ecosystems singlehandedly. The fact that you repeat quests and hunt an inexhaustible supply of monsters isn't really meant to be indicative of how Hunters work in-universe.
this
Uh, no. World is nothing like kino MH, and it ruined everything. I'm something of an OG Monster Hunter myself so I would know.
>I play grinding games but I dislike grinding
Guess who has the problem, retard
Yes and the combat, the main point of the game, is a fucking clunky mess. This franchise is fucking trash.
Monster Hunter Thread
yeah but it's fun
Prove it
>is this what monster hunter is like?
I mean you can make ANYTHING take forever if you do it the wrong way the whole time
