Depends on how it was done. There's only one brand of cold smoked salmon that I enjoy, but that particular brand is way better than cooked salmon. Cooked salmon on the other hand is pretty consistently decent.
Hot smoked salmon is terrible.

Nah, but get I Need and Hunterborn. Both add a lot of new recipes and go well with frostfall. Those do what the creationclubs survival mod does but leagues better.
