Somone is selling this on ebay for £180 but open for offers, How low do you think they might go, I could buy it now for £170
Somone is selling this on ebay for £180 but open for offers, How low do you think they might go...
Why not just emulate it?
its a fake.
the game is some hot garbage, just emulate it.
>not buying it back in 2007 for 40 bucks
lmao
Looked at completed listings, 170 is about the average price. You probably won't be able to lowball him much further than that.
If the game is still sealed then it's worth a lot more.
>Not being a collector
This is from reddit, The ebay one is a PAL version and looks real
ebay.co.uk
Guess I'll try for £160
>light scratches
160 seems like a decent starting offer then.
This listing is very similar (french cover, english game) and it went for £210.

>Bought mine @ $110 in 2014 and i thought i was insane at the time and i thought i was late to the collectan scene.
I feel bad for new collectors. The prices have skyrocketed.
>bought it for $30 at Gamestop
>was working there before the game came out so took a bunch of the soundtracks after the game didn't sell (preorder?) well
>have 4 dozen or so
>selling them for $35-$50 each
pic not related, I made it a few days ago and wanted an excuse to post it
If sucks that there was never a proper physical soundtrack and only just that preorder sample of the soundtrack.
Are those all similar to RoR? Tell us more.
Kuon and Haunting Ground play like rule of rose. Survival horrors that are expensive as well to certain degrees.
Ibara is just an expensive shmup
I got mine for free fag lol
Oh, I know Ibara. I miss when survival horror games were a real thing back in the PS2 era, my PC is weak so I can't even emulate them. Oh well.
Not worth speculator prices.
>the best time to buy something was yesterday
Holy shit user you must be a financial genius
it is not even that good of a game
Lucky
Have standards.
just emulate it.
>Emulate it
Yea Forums always somehow manages to get worse
I refuse to pay over 60$ for old games. While I have original hardware for numerous consoles I’m not going to pay scalper scum that much and would sooner emulate.
How about just pirating ON the console?? You are halfway there!! Emulation is shit.
>want to play panzer dragoon saga
>no rereleases
>600+$ for a copy
>e-emulation is bad guys I swear
I bet you’re an Amazon/eBay reseller
I remember a couple of years ago people thought Haunting Grounds would get remastered, fuckin sad it didn't happen.
FYI Capcom renewed the copyright or something similar.
Emulation is bad. Get a Pseudo Saturn cart. Make one yourself or buy on for $30 on ebay and then burn a copy of the game.
Alternatively you can install Rhea or a similar mod to your console.
Emulation being shit doesn't have anything to do with paying retail prices you retard.
It all depends on the console you’re trying to emulate. Gamecube and PS1 emulation are fantastic and the added ability of making save states is great while yes Saturn and ps2 emulation isn’t that great.
Why the fuck would Capcom remaster Haunting Ground? It's a bad game that was an enormous financial failure. I bought my copy in a bargain bin for a few bucks. Fuck that bullshit "It's all about rape!" meme. Nobody gave a shit about this game before that. Now everyone is pretending it's some underrated gem.
Perhaps not remastered exactly, but brought to the PS3 digital store like the Fatal Frame games were.
Game is trash. The only reason to get it is brag to alt hoes like this one
>alt
random whore's with ink is pretty mainstream
People likely didn't care about HG because they were too busy buying RE4. It's a good game though, basically what CT3 should've been.
what is that game in the upper right called?
Got my copy for $175 and beat it twice. RoR's a classic case of "everything but the gameplay is good". Strong story, soundtrack and art direction but combat is forced far too often for how unpolished it is and there's a LOT of following Brown around from point A to point B, though to be fair it also has a healthy amount of secrets if you do bother to explore your surroundings. I'd only recommend it for hardcore survival horror aficionados, anyone else can safely give it a pass.
>Emulation is shit
Depends on the game. Some games play better on an emulator than on the original hardware.
I'm a collectorfag so I like physical copies, but sometimes I'll even choose to play on an emulator if the original runs poorly or looks like garbage on a modern TV since I dont own a CRT.
Imagine paying over 100 burgers to play a shit video-game just because it had some controversy behind it.
>basically what CT3 should've been
But it is what CT3 is. It's basically the exact same game except with a different story and a useless dog companion. CT3 is actually a better game because at least the cutscenes in that one were done by a proper director and not some video game hack.
CT3's AI was much worse and the magical girl sections were incredibly jarring. It feels like a proof of concept compared to HG.
>Try to start a PS1 collection
>Look at the prices
>Everything is flooded with those Korean greatest hits reprints and cracked cases.
Yikes, might as well keep my Sony collection from PS3 onwards.
Almost done with the Wii U and working on Wii.
>collecting CDs
enjoy your disk rot, your "collection" of rotted CDs and useless game cases is surely a valid hobby
>Disc rot
What a pathetic meme, enjoy paying 300$ for a cardboard N64 box, you aren’t collecting cartridges without their packaging... right?
The AI in CT3 is not worse. It's much, much easier to escape in HG than it was in CT3. In fact, it's so easy in HG to escape you don't really have to worry about running into enemies at all. It's just not an issue if you are spotted. HG is a game that is pretty much completely devoid of any challenge whatsoever.
I feel like the opinions in this thread are greatly exaggerated. There's no reason to have such strong opinions on topics like this.
If you've played Chu Lip or LOL or any of the dude's games before, sure. It's a big investment, though, I'd just pop it up through ethernet.
AI was much more aggressive in CT3, yes, but it was also a lot more "out of sight, out of mind". HG's enemies tried harder to actually find you when you hid.
>HG's enemies tried harder to actually find you when you hid.
That would mean something if there was any reason to ever actually hide in the game. Just run. They're guaranteed to lose you.
>tfw bought the US version for $100 2 years ago
>it's almost $400 now
gottem
if only I could find a cheap kuon then I'd have the absurdly expensive survival horror trilogy
>Found Haunting Ground for 30€ mint condition 2 years ago
based purchase
>collecting for vanity
collect to play you double nigger
Panic mechanic is a thing. If Fiona freaks out then it's kinda hard to help sometimes.
what's top right? the cover is amazing
haunting ground has always been cheap as fuck in britain
I'm surprised rule of rose went as high as it did, I figured it'd stay at around $200 but I guess I was wrong
When I sold all my physical games a year ago, Haunting Ground was worth that most and the only one over $100. Shame I didn't own RoR though. I remember thinking about buying it when it came out but the reviews kind of sucked.
the name is literally there, and I don't mean the kanji
>collecting exclusively for playing
why collect at all at that point? easier to pirate if you only want to play the games
because it looks cool
then thats still collecting for vanity
Enjoy your rotational velodensity loss
yeah but half my games don't even have cases so not really
thread got more replies than I thought
Ibara
make two accounts, offer him 120 pound on the first, and then offer him 140 on the second.
thanks, the text was kinda hard to read sitting inside the kanji.
Original release of RoR is super rare so don't expect to get it at anything approaching a sane price. That game is a collector's item now.
not using one of those accounts to offer personal services.
1 job
My Little Sister Can't Possibly Have Hemorrhoids
>do all of this shit instead of just emulating
lmao@(You).senpai
Bought it for 11€ new in 2011. Those prices are laughable.
>paying nearly 200 bucks for a ps2 game
Collectfags are mentally ill. Either emulate, get a hacked PS3 (it upscale PS2 games quite nicely) or buy a modded PS2 and burn the disc yourself.
Found the woman. It's in mans nature to collect and gather
I never said you couldn't sexy
