To be fair, 80s style metal and punk used to always be associated with the cyberpunk aesthetic throughout the 90s and early 00s until neo-retro synthwave became a popular thing in the 2010s.
The creators of Cyberpunk 2077 said that they wanted a more rock-based soundtrack.

It's a trailer song. Not exactly indicative of what the in-game music will be like at all. Many examples of trailers utilising certain types of music for marketing purposes despite it not making any appearances in the game. (Souls series is a great example)

The playable classes are Solo, Techie and Netrunner user. Also suppose to be a fluid class system so you can take abilities from each of those classes, which I've heard some say is similar to the tabletop since your role doesn't lock you out of specific shit, just gives you some unique ability and a bump in stats typically related to it. There are three backgrounds with two being roles as well, Corp, Nomad and Street Kid.
