The next Smash Bros should be a Nintendo vs Sega Smash Bros game, and I have some good reasoning for it.
The problem that Nintendo has for the future of Smash Bros is that Smash Bros Ultimate really is Smash Bros Ultimate, there are a fuckload of characters and they can't just keep bloating out the roster with every installment as a selling point.
Rather, the selling point of Smash 6 could be, let's say 16 core Nintendo characters vs 16 Sega characters. Thus Smash Bros now has 16 brand new characters with different styles and mechanics and all that, that are recognizable. Sure, Nintendo could scrape some cool characters of their own from the bottom of the barrel and they could have an interesting style, but it would work better with Sega characters.
