FT isn't perfect. The audio was downmixed worse than any other Miku game. Most of the PV's are from 2011 and it shows. The animations? Same thing.

There's actually 3 types of gameplay, the babby mode 3DS games which would actually be really fun had every song had a super hard difficulty, the portable style which started on PSP and is used in every game up to Project Diva X, and then Future Tone which is the arcade style ported to PS4 which is by far the most difficult gameplay. I would try out the PSP games first honestly, just stay away from PD 1

Future Tone had a lot of songs that were too boring/easy, so trimming the song list isn't a huge loss. Should be fine if they mostly pick the popular songs and a good amount of the challenging ones. There were maybe only 10-20 songs that I played regularly, the rest I just played to get their perfect ranks. Mega39s new game mode likely means new note charts, doubling the amount of perfect ranks to go for. If the new mode looks fun I'll just buy the switch game instead of the DLC for FT.

Default looks too much like plastic for my taste. An option to simply switch shaders would be the best solution though.

There isn't much to say, the A.I. uses a cute avatar in order to make itself more palpable to humanity. Miku herself isn't really the bad guy.

this is unironically the best thing that could've happened. i hate playing mmiku on consoles, i dont know why but i cant stand it at all. feels wrong. playing mmiku on handhelds though, thats the good stuff. bought my vita just so i could do that honestly

dont get me wrong, i tried. i have future tone + its dlcs. its just, having mmiku in my hands is the best. not having mmiku in my hands is a much worse experience

I've played 2 of the PSP ones( F and F2nd I think) but I thought they were ok, nothing amazing though. Mirai 1 was just ok for me too, but I really loved Mirai 2/ DX. The game is not out yet but do you guys think I'll enjoy miku sankyus?
