It takes place in and around bong-france-germany area, two centuries after the apocalypse. The seas receding exposed that country under the north sea that was flooded in hunter gatherer times. The centre of this land becomes a pagan garden wilderness paradise where the descendants of all the billionaires, CEOs, secret society members, whatever live. It's surrounded by automated defences to ensure that nobody gets in. The main characters are a militarised unit based off the knights of the round table that operate out of the outskirts of this place. They run goods between the shanty cities and hamlets of ruined northern Europe, helping people when they can in a loose code of chivalry and slowly uncovering the truth about their history's secrets and their own origin. It's like Hardwired meets space hulk. They all drive brit cars, partly because it sort of fits the Arthurian theme and partly because I like them. The main protagonist is Lancelot and he drives pic related.

What the hell is this thread?

I need some practice before I put my autism-baby to paper. It's quite rare, but I really like when authors write sci-fi in a kind of mythical, fairytale way. Some of the 40k novels do this really well. Like, maybe they have to take down some kind of giant gunship, but it's written as if they're slaying a dragon. Like, not literally but just enough flowery language and fantasy motif to make it feel like a passed down legend.

Sorry for rambling incoherently, I haven't slept in 24 hours.

I tried becoming a drawfag, because I wanted to write my own shonenish manga. I had a whole plot where this kid got ran from home, because his drugged up father kills his mother, and then his adoptive family gets killed and the point of the thing was his quest for revenge. Everything from the mechanics behind the characters powers, to the economical inner workings of the world, I had all that shit detailed and written down.

I know that feel. Realizing I couldnt be a drawfag was the worst feeling I ever had.

All started as a tiny exercise to just writte a short story but it turned into hours of hours of rolepaying and worldbuilding over the years, heck even until today we keep doing this every day and we even started over many times and other branches of the plot and setting.

Mostly I view it as a way to break the whole tropes of some fantasy races that piss me off: orcs being onga bonga all the time, beast races never moving into industrial era and always sticking to barefoot trival shit, hummies always the middle tier jack of all trades shit, somehow all races have no politics to keep different groups and states running etc. I think the real catalysts of my way of thinking this way are the dunmer and how they are not your run of the mill knife ears and how wild the society works for them.

My post needed context. I was like 13, isolated in my room due to my emotionally manipulative mother and had literal autism that made my hand movements utter shit. I had spend a month straight trying to draw anime eyes with colored pencil and crayon and one day and it all looking, at best, Deviantart tier and it hit me, my mother hates the internet, I have no scanner to scan pictures anyway, im the only person at my school who likes what I like... I just realized the hopelessness of it AT THE TIME. I could go back to it but it just got away from me. So it was more when I knew I couldnt drawfag at the time was the most depressing feeling ever. Talent is a meme, practice makes perfeft, etc. Im over it NOW but its still depressing to revisit.

I actually have an idea of a gta/hotline Miami type game that takes place in a world in which everything paranormal, supernatural, mythology and fantasy is true and take place during the Cold War. The wanted meter never goes down as it actually effects the direction of the story as it goes up, (it based goes in this order: magical girls, cops, swat, military, men in black). The player character is basically demon from Japan that looks like a purple shrine maiden being helped by a flying alien drone. Her goal is basically to kill the descendants of the magical girls (who now live in the US) while helping her alien friend deal with the mafia from mars.
