There was literally NOTHING wrong with GU. Stop with this fucking meme. It was an experimental title that wasn't meant to be the next big game in the series. It was a fun little one-off game that tried some new things and also added mostly good monsters.
How is it useless? Do you not do that much extra damage to clutched parts or something? Also mounts are a fucking fantastic edition and I don't see how you couldn't think so. Being able to do all of your upkeep shit while also moving faster than sprinting speed is excellent. Even if none of the little new additions pan out, the core problem with World is that the monsters just weren't that interesting and the end-game had you fighting some of the least interesting monsters over and over again for gems. If Iceborne has an end-game with more interesting rewards and monsters that are actually fun to fight, its saved.
