What was the point of this puzzle? The answer is right on the claw itself. Who were they trying to keep out of the temple? Blind people?

THE ANSWER WAS ON THE CLAW??? MIND = BLOWN... I HAD TO ASK MY MOM TO HELP ME FOR THIS ONE
Draugr
Todd loves blind people because they can't tell how shit his game is.
You're underestimating how many stupid people got stuck there
The game was bugged on PC on day 1, you couldn't spin any inventory items from the menu. Still a shit game.
>it's a door handle not a key hole
I aligned those cracks on the rings
And it worked
Todd said we needed puzzles so we put puzzles in but then Todd said they were too hard so we took them out but z max got mad so they made us put them back in but we had to gimp them so that Todd could actually solve them.
WAIT A MINUTE THAT CLAW
You can even bruteforce it if you want lol
Hey Dreamboy. You wouldn't be spreading confidential information now, would you?
>Implying Todd could solve the claw puzzles
It would've been cooler if there writing's o the wall or something. I legit solved many claw puzzles by looking at the walls for clues until I ran into the impossible one.
What the fuck, you can rotate the claws??
Not to mention game doesn't tell you you can turn them and it's not needed anywhere else.

LOLZORZ!
They were not trying to keep anyone out. They were trying to keep the draugr locked inside.
2deep5me
They even state this in the game like a few times.
i was more concerned with how more often than not you had to do 2-2-2, which is to say "the most button presses possible"
Literally one door didn't follow this, but otherwise lazy as fuck
Same for those shitty ass rotatey things
HOLY SHIT THE ANSWER IT’S ON THE CLAW.
Thanks user, I’ve never made it past that door since 2011. Time to reinstall
Bethesda went out of their way to spoil the solution to the claw 'puzzle' in their first comprehensive gameplay trailer because playtesters kept getting stuck on it.
They literally had to hand out the solution to 90% of skyrim's dungeons puzzles over a month before the game was even out.
Skyrim has only one real puzzle that I know of, and it's the one with the fox/bear/wolf/snake room in Volskygge. Even then it was real easy stuff. Bethesda can't into puzzles, period.
JHONSON! ANALYZE THE CLAW
Can the draugr even use the claw as a key? In the game they are basically zombies
*Time to purchase Skyrim: VR edition, Skyrim: Todd edition and Skyrim: Ultimate edition
Fixed
From a design perspective, they wanted you to examine items to get clues/answers to proceed into a dungeon.
It's meant to be a tutorial for this behavior, but the mechanic was canned at some point, leaving you only with the single "puzzle"
>Skyrim: Todd edition
>not Toddition
Most of them are, but the powerful ones are basically just very dry immortals.
Playtesters ruin everything.
When you gave it back the shop keeper makes a joke about it being smaller than he remembers
>What did he mean by this?
Shopkeeper was referring to a certain something else you carry around being affected by shrinkage.
Put a bucket on his head and steal it
jesus christ thanks for the laugh, I forgot about that video.
>online has better puzzles
skyrim was a mistake, it fixed some crucial problems of oblivion but for galactic balance they dumbed down other things
lmao who the fuck watched this? get a life looser I was banging chicks lol
Is that a remix of Clubbed to Death playing?
>Who were they trying to keep out of the temple? Blind people?
Draugrs.
>the fox/bear/wolf/snake room in Volskygge
>get to that room
>kill all the enemies
>can't figure out for the life of me how to solve it
>turns out the flame atronach exploding threw the book with the solution into the void
>retarded playtesters getting stuck
The memories are coming back.
Well, they did a shitty job because the places are absolutely teeming with draugrs. Also, 90% of the areas locked beyond claw doors aren't actually sealed off and you can absolutely escape from inside via convenient exit routes. The claw doors stops nothing from going in, and nothing from going out.
Well, even then it's still a puzzle that can be forced easily. I can't think of a puzzle in Skyrim that locks you out of a reward if you attempt to use brute force or sidestep the solution.
>Bethesda went out of their way to spoil the solution to the claw 'puzzle' in their first comprehensive gameplay trailer because playtesters kept getting stuck on it.
The game literally never tells you that you can inspect objects
Main Quests should not have complicated puzzles. Puzzles should be in optional caves and dungeons, with various difficulty corresponding to the value of the loot.
t. gametester
moth priests get out reeee
t. nu-Tomb Raider designer
>letting one retarded playtester ruin the experience for everyone else
Why the fuck do they do this? If some retard can't figure out how to tie his fucking shoes then maybe he's better off playing fifa or becoming a games journalist.
I just give the dev's the benefit of the doubt.
Perhaps it wasn't like that to lock it away but in order to have some ritualistic meaning.
>You're underestimating how many stupid people got stuck there
maybe people with a modicum of intelligence don't assume people that use a code and key would put the code on the key
that's the problem, retarded playtesters represent the majority of casual gamers and maybe even small percentage of core gamers
