lots of 6th gen games actually look better on the PS2 because of its shaders, stuff like bloom couldn't easily be reproduced on other platforms (not even PC) because it was hardcoded into the graphics chip. at least not without a very good graphics card.
in fact, most games are lacking some sort of shader on the Xbox/GameCube. they might look better on the Xbox or PC, at least technically, but they're always missing something.

sonic riders on windows is missing graphical effects and has bugged sound volume which to my knowledge aren't currently fixable. it's also by default limited to 2 players instead of 4, but i think there's now mods for that.
emulating the gamecube version is superior, since through emulation you can get PC enhancements like resolution and texture filtering, but still have the missing graphics and features.

probably because you don't get the appreciation for it. these games are played out like a movie, and it's supposed to feel like you're there watching it as in the same timeline. and back in the early 90s this is what living room TV looked like. so maybe it is better in your opinion, but there's a lot of people who remember this time fondly and actually prefer it

There's a mod that restores the PS2-style lighting and color grading or whatever. It honestly looks a lot better in my opinion. I'm not sure why Rockstar tends to change these things between ports.

Orange game bad is thus making a reference to this other meme as a response to OP's reconstruction of the "soul/soulless" meme where he mocks the PC release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for lacking the orange overlay present in the Playstation 2 release, as opposed to pointing out its lack of "soul."
