Solid selection, but I have some questions:
Why do you prefer Megaman 2 over the later NES Megaman games? I personally think everything 2 did was improved upon by 3 and 4, except maybe the soundtrack.
Do you prefer Terraria's early/mid-game, or the exponentially growing powercreep grindfest that is the late game? Because to me the two fele like two completely different games, and while I enjoy the former, the latter is just tiring to me since I don't think Terraria has a combat system interesting enough to make all those damn boss fights fun.

okay you're mostly right but lets be honest for a second, SMG2 is better than odyssey and im pretty sure we can all agree on that.

It's pure space combat, and does it really fucking well. Well varied objectives, a story that's fairly interesting and leads to a lot of memorable experiences, a lot of real strong visual design and gameplay that managed to be hard without usually being frustrating, which is fairly difficult in that genre.

Honorable runners ups include all Doom games, Blood, Shadow Warrior, Duke Nukem 3D, Batman Arkham games, MK(9), all Tom Clancy titled games.
Now these are holy to me, but if I could go back to when I first played and got gud at the first three MP, I'd be in love all over again
