Been thinking whether remaking this game would be a good idea. It's not as polished as the ones already remade, meaning that more changes would have to be made. It's also punishingly, mind-bogglingly hard, Crash games are known for being difficult already, but Bash is on a whole different level, it's the only Crash game that I never bothered with completion, the crystal challenges were unfair already, but the relics were just torture, didn't get even a single platinum.

In the other, Bash would definitely be THE finest Crash multiplayer experience ever, MUCH better than what CTR can ever be. No RNG fuckery here, just pure skill.

There's not enough content in Bash to make a full game out of, it was barely justifiable on the PS1. If they remake Bash then they'd basically have to make a Bash 2 as well just to justify the remake's existence. They'd have to go full Mario Party or something.

I use everyone but Dingodile (don't like his current voice), Crash (don't leak nu-Crash's design or personality), Coco (too many Cocos as is), and the Turn characters (except if the track is Papu's Pyramid).

Its not worth remaking at all, and they'd lose money making this game that only a niche market wants.

The only people that care about that content are the turboautists, that will be in top 5% anyway because they have no life and play this over and over all day.

I love, ALL of that free content, to add competion, reason to play, and the ONLY thing you can't get, if you don't play enough, is a car, and skin, everything else you see on that image, unlocks and goes into the pit stop for you to play. ALL of that content, TWO TINY, SMALL little items which just add a spark of "alright, now there is reason to play and gun for it" just fun, genuine video games, and people -STILL- reee and cry. I haven't even BROUGHT UP the fact that there is entirely other grand prixes with an entire ARRAY of cahracters like Spyro etc etc with brand new maps.

I really doubt it'll be that hard. The game seems like it did well so there's probably a lot of room for less than utterly amazing players in that top percentage, after all the vast majority of people playing this game suck. I mean just look at the trophy percentages for anything remotely difficult to do in the game. Depending on how this whole thing works it'll probably be pretty simple to get in to that 5 percent if you have the time.

Absolutely this. I never played CTR/CNK before buying this game, and locking N.Tropy behind basic time trial times was a fantastic incentive for me to learn the basics of each course, and get at least a basic grasp of the boosting mechanics. It's amazing how much better at the game I've gotten just unlocking Tropy.

Practice is honestly the best tutorial. There are some videos on YouTube about USF (turbo-boost) that will help you out. But as you learn the mechanics of the game, you just kinda slowly get better.

Go to time trial, work on unlocking / beating Tropy's ghosts. You'll pick everything up bit by bit as you go through the track list.

Let your boost meter fill up more for stronger and longer boosts, itll fill your invisible reserve meter that allows you to maintain any type of boosted speed.
Combine that with turbo and super turbo pads for maximum overdrive

The devs have came out and quite literally said this game will NOT hold your hand, and expect you to learn the mechanics on your own, and you're gonna have to do the horrific task, of actually gitting gud. This will NOT fly with modern journalists playing the game, and will bomb the reviews.

The amount of salt you will get, will be unlike any other. Expect "UHHH.. THE CAMERS IS BAD... HA.. M--MARIO DOES IT BETTER?" or variations of this. "I CAN'T ACTUALLY CONTROL THE KART? WHAT THE FUCK? I have an idea that is probably very stupid, since I am not the best at the game.
To fix online, why not make it easier to supercharge items after lap 1? In Lap 1, everything's the same, but once you pass the second lap, and as long as you're not in 1st place, the Wumpa Fruit limit is changed to 20 and you can make items even better. At 20 fruit:
>turbo item: gives you USF.
>missiles: have much better tracking capability, like insanely better, but you can only get the one missile
>shield orb: getting hit by an item with it active destroys the shield and initiates a warp orb-like explosion around you, damaging others around you.
>warp orb: faster, and slows down 1st place upon hitting them, like the clock.
It'd certainly shake things up and make it easier to make a comeback and overtake 1st place. Does that seem like a good idea, or maybe too chaotic?

The question for what you should do is: Do you care about online? If you do, you should get a PS4, because it'll be dead by the time the PC port is released. If it's not that important, it's worth waiting a year, for a game that will have all the content that is going to be released, in 60 fps. You can always double-dip, too.

Because none of the race matters compared to the first 20 or so seconds of it, all it takes is for one person to get ahead and then they'll be leagues ahead of everyone else. That'd be a decent way to even the odds between the 2nd and 3rd place holders at the head of the pack and 1st place who is way ahead.
