I am absolutely convinced they are now in the same universe. Prove me wrong.
I am absolutely convinced they are now in the same universe. Prove me wrong
Why do you care?
C197 merge is happening soon, don't worry. We'll all be in the same universe. :3
TES is overall a better franchise than Fallout.
C.o.d.a
This
If you are a fan then you will think a lot about stuff like this user and have your theories and such. Basically not an NPC.
Unironically would not mind this so long as they made a third franchise to connect them rather than Fallout 5 having magic or ES6 having a hidden vault.
Only NPCs are fans of intellectual properties that have stories tacked on to support whatever game-play they have.
Wut?
What's c197?
Wew lad, you saying I cant enjoy the lusty Armenian maid just because it is a tongue in cheek erotica embedded in an action rpg game?
Kek meant argonian obviously.
TES lore is convoluted enough that Fallout would change nothing about it
Probably. I think the vast timeframe is actually sufficient enough desu. All the vaults would have caved in and the weapons rusted etc. Shit, the continents of earth would have shifted to form tamriel so there will ne little left other than shit like nirnroot that grows anew.
Why would the Sole Survivor have a "Vault Vorn" tattoo if he was in one for a grand total of like 5 minutes
How can the world of Fallout be in the shape, literally everything is in ruins even the best city they have is inside a fucking baseball stadium, and still have high tech technology and ai running like this?
Can't the people work together to build better cities? Or rebuild the old ones.
In Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas the world is clearly rebuilding back to civilizations. Fallout 3 and 4 is just really shit writing.
Why would 1950s Americana emerge in a world that has magic and fantasy races? Why would America exist at all? The entire history of the world would be different. And what happened to all the non-human? Unless you think TES is a sequel to Fallout, in which case how did the the landmasses change to form Tamriel? Where did magic and the Gods come from? The world of TES has a very well documented origin story, where do the nukes come into play?
Kek my thoughts exactly. I picked the image as it was the first on google. Tbh, that is a minor goof compared to some shit Bethesda left in the game.
They could, but this is likely Bethesda trying to keep the marketable 50s post apocalypse vibe. In the original game (only played first one) it was not super functional. It was literally hobo people living in ruins with brahmin cats as the height of technology. All energy weapons came from the Brotherhood or Enclave as they kept them stashed away. No huge high tech cities like Diamond City with a real power grid.
God you're right. I never finished NV but they clearly had better cities in that game.
4 has Diamond City and nothing else, every other location is a settlement. What a terrible fucking game that was.
Diamond City is as advanced as a Brazilian favela. And looks like one too.
Shhhh do you want to summon him!!!!????
Other way round. TES comes after Fallout. The main theory from fans is continental shift makes tamriel, radiation that made deathclaws calms down but death claws are still around and they evolve intelligence to become Argonians. Nuke radiation changes much about biology and can lead to newer races and such. As for magic, there are theories that if the Brotherhood is making nirnroot through bioengineering, they could also be working on bioengineering people such as growing their brains and making them more intelligent. Perhaps this has lead to psychic abilities, the origin point of magic. As for history, that is simple. All old stories and oral tales turn into myths and get altered slightly. The battle between the Brotherhood and Enclave in F3 will be a battle between a water goddess called Lyons and an evil spirit called Autumn. Eventually this morphs into the story of Kynareth giving us nature and the weather. The TES lore is only true from the inhabitants point of view.
same universe does not imply same world
Sure, but you know what I meant by my point. Also wouldn't k ow as I didn't play 4, I dont play shit games kek.
Lol wut? Is this a reference to the mad god of the shivering isles or something?
Bullshit
Also note that in the mists of time is the hero Pelinal Whitestrake who is heavily implied to be a time travelling cyborg . It is possible that the Brotherhood develops time travel and send some power armor clad Chad to the future. Or even more likely, if elves are mutated men thanks to nuclear radiation, it is likely the Enclave sending a Frank Horrigan clone forward in time. This would explain his superhuman abilities, fusion with technology rather than a dude with magic armor, and his hatred of muties/elves.
In your dreams maybe you fat tranny
I got your point, they still had advanced technology in Fallout 4, the brotherhood retards were flying on huge spaceships by the end of the game. Seeing them crash those things whenever they engaged fights with super mutants with cavemen weapons and on the ground was funny as fuck. Truly peak Bethesda retardation.
But why?
Indeed it is retarded. But luckily it means the lore is not to blame but poor writing is. This means it is still possible to make a timeline for theories such as my own or any other theory too without having to account for double digit IQs at Bethesda.
wow, it is almost like bethesda already said so themselves when they announced that starfield will be the missing link between them, and I can not imagine that they meant it from a gameplay perspective.
Fallout 4 could've been better. I feel like the settlement system completely gutted content. They had like 30 empty plots for settlements so it's huge swaths of land ingame not used for anything but shitty minecraft. Like if you notice the empty areas is where game story happens.
In the first game 80+ years after the war folks have entire adobe villages and the fields to feed them and even rebuilt a classic style cathedral for a new cult.
where as in 3 post war folks raid one single supemarket for food several centuries after it has last been stocked and live in squalid ruins with no notion of progress or improvement to their current situation.
Hell even the second game, although fun and with some interesting twists was very different in tone and internal consistency compared to the first game.
They did? Literally cared so little about starfield I never once read news on it. Does this mean they are travelling to Tamriel via spaceship and colonizing it? That is way less cool than a long timeline of changes explaining how death laws are the primitive race that lead to Argonians etc.
