Play a game you already have a lot of unlocked achievements for 30 minutes and you will have more points than you will ever need.

Getting points is super easy, just idle any game you have cheevos on for 30+ min. Now increasing your capacity, that's an entirely different matter.

I still don't know what determines your starting capacity. Some people started with a fuckton, others with barely enough for 2 boosts. But you can increase it by spending money during the sale.

The system is broken from the get go. If you have achievements in certain games, that you worked hundreds of hours for, you will get the points. It shouldn't be like this, because point accumulation should not count feats you did prior to the sale event.
Or, maybe, the system works perfectly, and I am the dumb one.

The achievements do not matter. You can literally just load up a random game in SAM, click "unlock all achievements" and then idle it for 30 minutes and you'll receive a fuckton of points. But they don't matter unless your capacity is really high. And the only way to increase your capacity is to spend money, or have a fuck huge library before the start of the sale.

The whole system is meant to get people to spend money to raise capacity. The point system is to trick idiots into thinking they've found exploits or shortcuts to earn a ton of points, and have them pay money to raise capacity to cash in these points.

Past purchases determine your initial boost.
